myata Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 My, but of course, it's fully in the right of everybody's to get rid of their money in whatever way they find appropriate. Giving them to lawyers should be no exception. Good luck! On the serious note, it was real fun listening to over-p...-off conservatives on Ottawa's CFRA this morning. Can't begin to describe how good it was! All 15 or so talking points, in one shot. Unmatched amounts of wailing and howling. Wonder if it had producesed as much excitement, if Harper did it, as he suggested, with the old Liberal minority government? Quote If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant
daniel Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 (edited) I will be contacting numerous law firms across the nation tomorrow ... While you're at it, you might as well revisit that fundamental breach of contract which ultimately begat the current Conservative party. You should also hold the Conservative government to those three bills passed in the elected Parliament which Harper just simply ignored. Edited December 2, 2008 by daniel Quote

daniel Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 (edited) This law firm will hire itself to fight this? I guess they have an idiot for a client. Would that be the same law firm that helped Mulroney in the Airbus affair? Or are they the ones who helped breach that contract MacKay signed? Edited December 3, 2008 by daniel Quote
CanadianBacon Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 We as the people of Canada voted in a minority Conservative government and I will take this to the highest court in the nation to see that the wishes of the people are heard. The People of Canada did not vote for a minority Conservative government. They voted for MPs that would represent their riding. This is just all spin. Quote

Radsickle Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Looking for a change in Canadian Politics? Generations Party of Canada... please help http://generationspartyofcanada.blogspot.com/ Number one mistake: "Let's run this country like a business". A country needs something more than an accountant. I'll stick with the Coalition for a `national' party, thanks anyway. Quote
ReeferMadness Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Pk, you are all right NO law firm will take the case BUT there are provisions in our constitution that allow the people to defeat a coalition government formed against the people's wishes. With the help of a major law firm here in Vancouver we will be proceeding if the coalition is recognized by the GG. And as a few here have said if the BQ does not sign a letter of full contribution and support to the coalition government with intent on voting with the coalition on all matters the GG has to deny the coalition because it is not a stable option to replace the current minority government. That is clear in the constitution. Then if Dion, Layton and the BQ push us once more to an election THEY should be pusnished for their hypocrysy as they were the ones making all the fuss about the last election, the waste of money before 4 years was up. And to the comment that only 37% of the people wanted the Conservatives so the Coalition has more votes thus they should be the government: Well I am sure all the NDP supporters out there would not like a Liberal led coalition as they did not vote Liberal or BQ, the same for Liberal supporters they did not vote NDP or BQ so why should their vote count for a combined coalition vote, and the same for BQ supporters. The BQ supporters would hate that they are working with NDP and Liberal parties as they did not vote for them, they voted BQ. The single party that got the most votes was the Conservatives and every voter that voted for that is clear they want the Conservatives to govern and that is majority rules DEMOCRATIC society. The way Dion, Layton and the BQ are going about this coalition government is liking to a Coo-de-ta or over throw of the government JUST LIKE what happened in the USSR in 1917. Welcome to a dictatorship, Dion and Layton are ignoring the people and what next, remove voting, martial law when we stand up for our rights, maybe even declaration of a new Socialist State under a new ruling governmental organization and seperation from the commonwealth and severing ties with NAFTA. You think it is absurd? Did all the people in every nation that over threw the government believe the same thing that they were getting a bright new future in their country?????? Think about that. PS: The law firm is taking this on, gratis because they are big Conservative supporters and they want to see the coalition fail too! The preceding mindless rhetoric has been sponsored by the Conservative Party of Canada. TCCK, you obviously don't know anything about our system of governance, you don't know what a coup d'etat is, you don't know anything about 1917 Russia, and your fear-mongering is too laughable to even merit comment. Tell us the name of this 'major law firm' who is taking this on. BornAlbertan Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 The wishes of 37% of the people, or the wishes of 44% of the people? ...54% if you include the Bloc...
