  1. Your statement lays out the path to secession....Alberta/Quebec has a referendum with a clear question, once it passes the requirements set out by canada, then both parties sit down and discuss separation and what it looks like....SO it can be done just follow the rules laid out in your statement. If it was mission impossible why is there a bloc party in Quebec, why is the federal government not interested in slaming quebec for items like language laws, religious symbol laws , Is all that just for votes.....why is it ROC bends the knee for quebec, i mean if theirs is NO secession why bother...your basically saying it can't be done, and yet Quebec has tried at least twice to do so....I got that number for that truck driving school, i heard they are looking for guys like you....
  2. Again do your own research.... It is the start to one....where do you think Ottawa is going to get the money to give to the western provinces.... Ya right it is... Do you think Alberta has asked them....they don't care what you think, they are concerned about the western provinces... Why is it Quebec can make demands about secession and not Alberta....Quebec was not going to secede any borders..and neither is Alberta unless it is beneficial for alberta...The constitution already has a clauses in it for secession... it is not Canada's choice it is any province that wants to leave....what do you think is going to happen if for whatever reason alberta leaves....BC will have choices to make it will be cut off from the ROC....just like the maritimes did when Quebec had their vote...What do you think the US will do if alberta separates....they will offer them citizenship it will be trumps wet dream..... Alberta has already warned Canada, this is not something they dreamed up yesterday....this has been in the works for some time.....And if Carney does not pay attention, that day will come Alberta separates and the rest will fall like dominoes...
  3. The lack of contrast is your opinion, not mine....Time will tell how well Carney will do, but right now he has really done nothing.....big brain economics PHD who wants to spend 130 bil in his first year, and then invest another 500 bil in the next 5 years...invest heavily in green tech and green projects much like the last liberal government which proved one huge waste of money....not to mention his plans to tariff any nation goods that do not have a carbon plan...which includes our largest trading partner....how is any of that a smart big brain phd idea when our nation already has 1.2 trillion in debt.
  4. Yes you are, Why have an advisor if your going to pass on anything he advising....what was Carney job again...your being dishonest if you are trying to say that Carney did not have an effect on justins policies... you should be singing us a break... I take it you did not, you should it might give you some insight into this guy... Right....and everything carney suggested is the right direction for the country, according to you....to me it means more hardship, in most areas....I'm dumbfounded you can't see that...
  5. Do some research, Alberta is already trying to leave the CPP and start it's own retirement plan Alberta's share comes to 20 % of the total package, along with BC. Alberta, Sask, Man are also looking to form a western union for CPP plan....This alone would collapse the CPP plan for all Canadians left in the union... Alberta has talked to the western provinces about leaving the union of Canada...Smith has already warned about this before the election, and most canadians refuse to believe her....What do you think BC is going to do if it is cut off from the rest of Canada....
  6. Hey fruit cake, you do know that toronto has more seats than the entire atlantic provinces...along with most of the major city centers....if you have problems with math i'll help you...Atlantic canada has 32 seats, ontario has 122, Quebec...78 want to blame the liberal win on someone talk to those provinces... https://www.ourcommons.ca/Members/en/party-standings
  7. Last time the west talked about separation it was BC, Alberta, Sask,Man....all the western provinces....it's a large block of canadians...Alberta is already in progress of making separation much easier....and if they go the entire nation of Canada will cease to exist....who is going to support Quebec....and the atlantic provinces...Canada will be a dream we once had and could not satisfy everyone in the union....You can sing the star spangled banner...right....thats is what is at stake, if we can't come together as one nation....it is mission impossible....we are to divided....
  8. Typical leftist remark...we can't even treat ourselves with respect in regards to human rights....see indigenous people for one, the list goes on and on....and now you want to force something we can not do, on the chinese, you guys make me laugh and talk from both sides of your face. ....Just becasue we trade with China does not mean they give a rats a$$ about our nation, it is a business transaction....don't you remember the two Michaels....if anything we should be moving away from china, moving our manufacturing to another country like india....oh wait Canada screwed that relationship up as well....
  9. Well they weren't very reliable conservatives as you say they where, if they let their hate for PP , over shadow what they liberals did or did not do in the last 9 years....and with the same team, same players under one of the same coaches...what could go wrong....where do you see the hope in that ? i somehow hope your right about carney, but my gut is saying it is going to the same as under justin....not sure how canadians can not see that....
  10. I'm sure there are many disappointed Conservatives,me included, but that's not what my post was about...nor was i crying or whining...
  11. Not even sure what you going on about....or why you would bring up the things you did....a lefty asked a question i gave him the answer....nobody is crying, or getting upset except for you that is...
  12. Yes it is up to the conservative party....but PP is not going to just leave becasue of all the reasons you have chosen....not even sure what refusing his security clearance has to do with anything...it's only been explained a thousand times.....but you go girl... the rest of your statement is true, it is a question for PP to sit down and come up with an answer....i mean Justin was litteral had to have a gun pointed at him before he decided....maybe he is betting on carneys true colors to show and take advantage of that in a year or more...
  13. The question came from Mytra, Should someone unelected lead a political party? I replied that Carney was not elected....Nobody is crying just stating a fact...
  14. no mytra was complaining about PP now being a party leader with no seat...
  15. what he has put a few tariffs on us , that is what got you afraid...., is that some kind of major attack, look stop hiding under the bed, Trump objective is to renegotiate NAFTA, or whatever it is call today...which he see's as unfair, and to be honest both nations have tariffs on each other for a long time.... up until recently each province had larger tariffs on each other....worth hundreds of bils we can't even trade amongst ourselves fairly....and today there is only 3 provinces that decided to drop tariffs....
  16. Yes it is for a while any ways....Yes Carney was an advisor period end of story....He put it in his resume, not me...And your twisting me words around , thats not what i said but don't pretend carney did not have a role to play... Again twisting my words around, liberals have a long laundry list of left wing conspiracies, and adopting DEI,climate change politics....playing on fear is their go to.... I don't give much thought to the other side to be honest, as the left don't give a shit about any side other than themselves. ...it has been this way for years. Crux of the problem is Canadians gave the liberals another 4 year term, after everything they did to mess the country up...pretending Carney is going to fix it, when he was part of the problem ...is insane...You and everyone that voted for carney should read his book, and then tell me if you made the right choice....I personally don't like his policies, along with millions of other canadians....
  17. OK who ? are you still off your meds....
  18. I guess those from the UK were shilling for the conservative party as well...just a question how much influence does tim Macklem have on our current economic status, do we blame him for it's current state or is that belong to the finance minister........he is taking credit for a dead guys work how much class does he have to do that....
  19. We just had mark Carney, take the head seat of the liberal party and of PM of the entire country....without being elected....I guess those rules are just for the liberals right....
  20. and today this is what he is saying, not very flattering... https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/harper-carney-financial-crisis-1.7473091 not to mention the negative press he received by more than one source in GB,including a senior editorial in GB economic times, PM,and others...
  21. There was never any viable threat to our nation. be in militarily or economic, just some windbag making noises and it seems a lot of canadians wetting themselves and fell for all of it, and Carney took advantage of that........Once the trade agreement is resigned....everything will be back to normal.... The moment everyone is waiting for is what this new agreement looks like and what we lose in the process....Carney is not going to look good, he has already made promises to quebec, etc...the best outcome would be to end all tariffs between our nations, but that would mean giving up dairy cartels, etc....but would also mean no more tariffs on lumber, oil and gas etc... I doubt very much there will be much cooperation unless it is with some of the promises they stole from the Conservatives..the country's is to divided to cooperate, thanks to our liberal brothers...I'm hoping we return to the center, and drop all these hard leftist ideas, like DEI, etc.
  22. YA they did forget, as did you, somehow PP actions as you describe them, did more damage to the country than anything Justin did under Carney advisory role...it was like those years did not matter one bit....what they stuck to was the fact they disliked PP in his role as official opposition, his aggressive tones and holding the liberals accountable somewhat, I say that as nothing they did was someone held accountable....everything on your list i could give you dozens of examples of the liberals doing the exact same thing... but you knew that and forgot to add that into your choice to just dump PP...all the while by not holding the liberals to the same standards... I hope that liberal voters do not end up regretting their vote, and i do hope carney has success in making some much needed changes in this country....i also hope he leaves all his net zero dreams in his closet... one thing for sure is he will not unite this country, but instead divide it further, with liberal policies left over from Justins period. ie gun control, carbon taxes, C-69, etc... Canadians do not vote with their heads ,but rather with tradition, or their hearts , rarely do they look at what is offer or the policies that make up their platform...Which PP beat carney hands down, "my Opinion" in fact they were so good he made them a lot his own...
  23. Couldn't have been that upset, they did almost win a majority, i think most Canadians have really short memory spans....I mean same party, same MP's, and then Carney as an advisor....and somehow Justin wore that entire failure....i mean come on some of these guys have to step up and own some of that failure.... I'd also say the media, polling companies, trump, and Carneys staff, the short election timings also had a role all had a role in there somewhere, of influencing events that lead to the destruction of PP campaign... minor as they may be they still played a role....PP campaign manager, even PP himself did most of the destruction. hopeful he sees that and decides to retire and let someone else take the reins....
  24. No you go ahead and have your day in the sun, mock away i'm sure that's what some conservatives would be doing right now if the situation was reversed... To suggest that after 8 years of liberal rule, a lot of that rage posting was unjustified is just you making excuses to throw shade....Liberal actions over 8 plus years deserve to be highlighted when they can be... While it is a liberal win, Carney is going to find out just how hard it is to govern as a minority government, making some of his plans and promises not possible without selling his sole to once again the NDP... Not sure if the next NDP leader is going to see this as an opportunity seeing what happened to the last NDP leader...but who knows... Not sure how PP can govern over a party without a presence in parliament, and will he take over another riding not sure if thats the right choice either.... he has had his chance and unfortunately he has failed to form government....perhaps he will see that and take that walk into the wilderness, the next question would be WHO will replace him...i think it is to early for that right now. but the search should at least begin
  25. Must of resonated with a good number of conservatives considering the liberals were expected to run away with this election with a majority... according to the polls/ media...He did tweak his message in the late campaign, obvious not well enough to make a huge difference... The problem is Carney now has a minority, lets see what he does with it....or are we going back to the polls...
