They've had a lot of good ideas, and put in place many good policies and treaties, but none of them have worked out in the long run, like Human rights in 1948...and yet here in Canada a western nation, we still have problems with basic human rights, take a look at our native population the last residential school close in the mid 70's. One can only imigine what other 3 rd world countries human rights abuses were taken place...The list goes on and on , they are just words on paper, UN has no way to enforce any of it...

They don't need to be taught hatred in school it is everywhere in your day to day life, when you drive by a terrorist attack, that happens on a regular basis...your parents teach their kids not to go near the borders or Palestinians for fear of getting killed...getting woke up at 3 am from air raid sirens, Having someone close to you get killed in a terrorist attack....almost everyone openly carries long guns, both on duty or off duty, go to have a coffee and carry an m-16 becasue it is the fashion in Israel now....having to go down stairs into the air raid shelter, or their own safe room....how many Canadian homes have reinforced safe rooms to escape terrorist....not many....Everyone sees and breaths hate from the minute your born to the second you die.... UNRWA is a UN organization, that teaches this hate, Canadian tax dollars funds this stuff, and everyone turns a blind eye...we continue to fund this terrorism....

I don't want you to feel sorry for me, i want Canadians to stand up and fix all of this... I think if you ask most military persons if they feel forgotten by Canadians they'll say yes...for decades now our military has grown weaker,to the point now it is barely functioning.... and Canadians have sat and watched, did nothing but make bad jokes, back in the late 80's early 90's we could not even wear our uniforms in public because it would trigger someone....these are the same people that any of our military people would sacrifice their lives for, and when we needed Canadians the most they turned their backs on us...That's where the disillusion comes into play and it is not just me, a lot of serving or vets feel the same way...Justin said to canadians "they are asking for more than we can give, months later he would double our national debt load with spending unheard of across the globe.....and none of it went to vets....Sh!t we can't even get everyone to wear a poppy on the one day a year we pay our respects to our nation's military present and past.... Some of my comrades paid the highest sacrifice you can make directly linked to sh!tty equipment...because our nation provided poor equipment made by the cheapest bidder, and then only way we did manage to get new equipment is when enough soldiers had died and someone rang the bell... Every politician that went over to Afghanistan for their photo op with the troops they would all ask the same question "what can we do for you"....soldiers are not shy, and would tell it how it was...with a few very descriptive words attached..NOTHING every changed.... It is not just one mans opinions, most of those that served will tell anyone that asks did the Canadian people support you or did this nation provide you with the right tools to do the job... Tell me why your so proud to be a Canadian ?

And yet why does so many Canadians go out of their way to tell the world they are not american, that we are so much different, that we blame them for most of the worlds problems....I think we are more than family, we are the same only separated by a border. Canadians take advantage of Americans when ever we can, economically, for defense, even in our international relations, at almost every topic there is...Had this relationship been the other way around we would be dissing the americans as lazy, unappreciative, deceitful, not to be trusted in any way....Putin has nothing to do with this, we have been doing it for decades, and only recently has anyone really brought it up over and over and over again...we are not a reliable partner period. and somehow most Canadians take pride in that...and then wonder why nobody wants to really sit down and talk with us... The US should just kick us out of all our defensive alliances, NATO, NORAD, 5 EYES, all of them, until we can get our sh!t together...use us as an example of this is what happens when to purposely don't adhere to the agreements you signed on to... I've served alongside of US forces in many parts of the worlds sh!t holes. they have my deepest respect, and in many cases considered them brothers in arms...and sadly more resect for them than i do have for average Canadians... If i could i would have moved a long time ago to the states, I served this nation for 34 years, and while i'm proud of my service and hold those i served with, with the highest regards, in most cases my own nation let us down big time, and as a vet it disgusts me how this once great nation treats it's vets...This is not just my opinion, this is most vets i talk to...And canadians know all of this, and sit and watch, almost as if they say glad i'm not one of them poor bastards...when They ( Canadians)are the ones that hold the power to change all of this.... How many times has Canada saved the world, we can't even save ourselves....maybe if we made our own movies that we would watch we can't even do that we are to cool...we are just jealous of our neighbors to the south we need to poke fun about them to not break down crying over there freedoms that we don't have.... We don't laugh at our existence we dream about being some place else where leaders of a nation make good decisions and place country above themselves and do not rob this nation of it's own tax dollars to benefit themselves... everyone likes a good doobie, and a case of beer now and then....but you have to be on it every night to smile and think we as a nation are cool...when in reality we are all on the short bus, drooling and licking the windows wishing we could be an American....

Best at what exactly, making maple syrup, poutine, spending others money, so many social programs, really tell us what canada is best at...just a couple of lines...i can't think of anything we are the best at...we not even the best at hockey...or beer drinking....although we are pretty good at whining and complaining , lets not forget pointing fingers, not stepping up and owning our mistakes...screwing others over, we are almost the best at that...

I would agree that perhaps our government see a political value in it, but i think most Canadians will agree we can't even get our Poop together in our own country, why do we feel the need to get involved in global problems... We give away a lot of tax dollars to useless causes Un is one but many...And Justin was pretty excited to announce "Canada is back Baby" to the entire Un assembly, eager to take on UN missions...Just another failed promise by this government We should focus on Canada , and get our poop in a pile...worry about global issues to the big boys for now... Sorry i can't find one good thing the UN has done, it has more failures than good at a boys moments. It certainly can't peace keep, nor can it be counted on to educate and feed and provide medical support to, the palestinian people... , has it ever solved global starvation....I think the red cross has done more with less. ever wonder why we don't see kids gathering money up during halloween, becasue it did not go to where it was needed....In Bosnia, the UN warehouse was next to a major Canadian supply point, the locals that ran it drove very expensive land rovers, and sold food out of the back of those trucks that were supposed to be given to the people for free...these are not one of but rather very common....

It has been a shell of an organization for decades...Has the UN ever had power to shape the globe....or is it just another political forum where stuff goes to be discussed and die a slow death....The World courts has been proven ineffective as Joe Biden tells the world mess with the Israelis PM and face the sanctions or more of the US....i think that says it all don't you....tell me what benefits Canada gets from the UN other than a bill at the end of the year...

One more reason , to vote conservative, not that justin has not given us plenty of reason to do that already....Lets not forget the Liberal/ NDP voters we need to thank them as well....this is what happen when you vote for a mor0n....but you know what they say you can't fix stupid....
