Is that right? Wow, that's interesting. Tell me, is this Global Warming thing a socialist plot to take down Capitalism? No the kyoto fraud is some sort of an attempt to do that. However it is firstly an attempt to extort from capitalism. And by two first-rate capitalists, both Canadians, mind you. Paul Desmairis and Maurice Strong (the latter now on the lam). That's right.

I'm curious...do you REALLY believe that? Given what the VAST majority of scientists concede as fact, do you actually believe what you're saying? What does that mean? That is really an incredibly bizarre thing to say. It appears you think concern over Global Warming is a political stance....akin to agreeing with 9/11 attacks. The so called vast majority of scientists have been proven wrong because they didn't do proper scientific research and they don't like it. In stead the were paid to come up with a predetermined conclusion. http://mitosyfraudes.8k.com/Calen2/debunk.html

Dude, you better get a liberal playbook fast. The witch is Bush. They figure if they can 'get' enough of Bush's assistant witches, sooner or later they can draw a bead on the big witch himself. How come no one is being charged? Liberal judges lawyers the land over would love to get in on this action. But they can't, mostly because no criminal activity took place. Why else is nobody being charged. You are correct. It was another liberal witch hunt that turned out to be a snipe hunt for the dems.

Rubbish. Bin Laden attacked the US because US troops were in Saudi Arabia. If there were no troops there would have been no attack. Bush and Bin Laden are soul mates - they both seek to create conflict in order to advance their poiltical objectives. You can bet that Al'Queda cheered the day that Bush decided to invade Iraq. The nonsense from the cut and run gang gets more ridiculous every day.

That is ridiculous. No body duped anyone. The hoist the white flag crowd appeasers got us into the war in the first place by appeasing the terrorists for years while they became more organized and bold in their attacks. The line was drawn in after 911 when the bastards ran into Bush. They've been getting their ass kicked ever since in spite of the treasonous appeasers.

Tell me something. Let's assume global warming is happening. Why should anyone in Canada, who does not own property on the seashore, care ? Go to google, type in wikipedia global warming effects The effects on Canada are not as rosey as you might want to believe. All part of the scare mongering. But hey, hold onto your parkas. http://www.nunatsiaq.com/news/climate/60908_04.html

http://www.cjob.com/news/index.aspx?dir=na...=./n091027A.xml Well of course Harper doesn't consider greenhouse gases to be "pollution", so why would he waste money on that? Has anyone every actually asked him if he believes Global Warming is happening? I know nobody can ask him any questions anymore....but maybe before he was elected there's something on record?? The only question I have is what took so long, and why doesn't he tell the UN to take a hike.

It is irrelevant what you think - if Iraqis think that what the Americans did is torture then it is torture. You can wring your hands as much as you want but the PR damage was done. The entire episode illustrates why it is a waste of time to invade countries and hope to keep the moral high ground. No matter what an invader does it will always make mistakes and always turn the people against them. I have my doubts if the Iraqi's ever thought that was torture, and in fact it wasn't even an issue until our resident treasonites made an issue out of nothing. From what I gather from this article the Iraqi's think the Americans were to soft on the murdering butchers. Something the seem to have corrected in short order.
-
I thought you must be joking but appears you are serious. Are you saying there is nothing wrong with what the Americans did in Abu Ghraib because the current Iraqi gov't is worse? What the Americans did may have been mild by 'internationally accepted standards for torture' but it does not change the fact that the Americans should not have been torturing anyone. Even people who have no philosophical objection to torture should recognize that word of Americans torturing Iraqis would eventually get out and it would severely undermine the objectives of the mission in Iraq. What nonsense. I don't even accept what the Americans did as torture.

Another myth perpetrated by the American bashers goes up in smoke. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml...9/10/wirq10.xml

Canadian troops making things worse: Afghan legislator
B. Max replied to gerryhatrick's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Oh no, she's a "terrorist sympathizer" engaging in a little "American bashing". B-Max said so. Very reasoned analysis, btw. I guess while in kanuckistan, the thing to do is participate in the countries favourite pass time. America bashing. We've been down that US policy road before. What policy don't these people like. The one where the US says you have anything to do with murdering americans and you'll get your ass kicked. -

Sounds like something is fishy here. The only policy Canada is following is to get rid of the Taliban terrorists. All I hear from this shill is American bashing, nothing about getting rid of the Taliban. Looks like we've let another terrorist sympathizer into the country whos first stop was to see old Jack Taliban and his gang of sympathizers. -
Declaring war does not make them a threat - it is simply irrational to think that the Germans could have launched even a token attack against North America. Uboats cannot be used to invade - they were intended to prevent supplies from getting to Europe. The idea that Germans were building anything is BC is simply laughable. Declaring war did make them a threat and a threat they were. As it turns out they were never able to launch an invasion because we went and kicked their ass. Given time they would have. If the enemy is sinking your supply ships you are past the point of a threat. According to a documentry I watched they were attempting to build such a road, and people I've talked to when i was up in that area also confirmed that they were.

On pretty much everything. But really: what is creationism, then? Basically, it's the belief that God created the universe and everything in it: all matter and life, right? Well, what did he make it out of? According to the Bible, He simply willed the universe into being. In other words he made it appear out of nothing. But how did he do it? Now, the laws of physics dictate that the total number of atoms in the universe remains constant. If one belives the creation jive, God must not be bound by natural laws, which makes Him a supernatural entity with supernatural powers. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty comfortable referring to supernatural powers as magic. So, to wrap it up, creationism is the belief that life magically appeared out of nothing. Just a Canadian supreme. You read things in that aren't there. The fact is we don't know exactly how creation was achieved. -
Hitler was no threat to anyone other than his immediate neighborhood (Just like Islamacists). The only reason Hitler gets so much media play in North America is because most North Americans have European ancestry. Oh please. Germany and Spain both declared war on the US a couple of days or so after the attack on pearl harbor. The germans were secretly building a road down the west coast of BC for their planned invasion. They had U-boats off the east coast of North America.

Is that because you think they're too dumb? Actually, that's pretty much the definition of creationism. Evolution is a wee bit more complex than that. But we digress. No it's not, we disagree. -
I doubt anyone ever said that. The current problems in Iraq demonstrate that the Islamic would is not united and that there is zero chance that Islamicists will ever do anything more than foment civil war and strife within their immediate neighborhood. They could even nuke Isreal and it would have zero effect on the lives of the overwhelming majority of people living on the planet. Give your head a shake. These are the same type that once took over spain and were poised to take over Europe until they were driven back. The appeaseres of today are no different than the appeasers of yesterday when they appeased Hitler all the way to the WW2.

*Bzzzzt!* Gratuitous and facile Hitler reference. To the shame corner! And take a copy of "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" with you. Hitler was the product of a specific set of circumstances too numerous to go into here. There's no analagous entity in the Islamic world. Hitler was one man sitting in a jail cell when he wrote Mein Kampf. The Islamic butchers with conquest on their mind are many, spread all over the place and not even in jail. Are those some the circumstances you don't want to discuss.

Compared to who? Americans who believe the earth magically appeared out of nothing 6000 years ago? Or perhaps compared to the 50% of Americans who still believe that Saddam was linked to 9/11 or that WMDs were found in Iraq? Compared to who ever you want. How about the evolutionists who believe life magically appeared out of nothing. -
Pfffft. Like I said, the Taliban were never bent on conquest. And there's no radical Islamic entity that can even get its shit together to dump one of the west's pet tyrranies in the Mid East, let alone conquer anyone else. Hell, Hizbullah, one of the more potent Islamic/Arab fighting forces going, can hang onto its little patch of earth, but they can't dislodge anyone else from theirs. So this war you speak of reminds me of some of the old fashioned "wars" of colonial times. But while today's natives have upgraded from spears to RPGs, they have about as much chance of overunning us as the Zulus did of marching on Buckingham Palace in 1879. Yes, exactly what they said about Hitler when he wrote his book while sitting in a jail cell.

I doubt if our troops would interested to find out that horseshit can be piled that high. -
What does that have to do with the Taliban? The Taliban were and are small-time peasants, illiterate and ignorant thugs. If they had aspirations beyond ruling over their own patch of dirt and making life miserable for the people there, they didn't show it. Osama bin Laden was allowed to set up in Afghanistan because he gave them money and muscle. If the Taliban were to take over again, that won't magically return Al Qaeda to its former strength. If we succeed, however we plan to measure that, whoever eventually ends up running Afghanistan will be different from the Taliban by a matter of degrees. They'll be corrupt. They'll be backward. And they'll be brutal. And we won't care because they'll be ours. Afghanistan is but one battle in the over all war on world wide Islamic conquest.
