I heard an interview with the UN official this week who broke the story.
Looks like we've be taken for a ride again. If this is true, Harper had better step down.
On Friday, a report released by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a group of 2,500 scientists from more than 130 countries, said climate changes are "very likely" caused by human activity.
In other words, they got jack shit nothing.
The study was published in the September 2006 issue of the American Meteorological Society's Journal of Climate.
I didn't know the HLI published studies in that journal.
An 8 or 9% flat tax rate?
woo, to stay in balance at least $50 billion would have to be cut out of the Federal budget with those rates?
Where do the cuts start?
Simple Watson. We start with eliminating non productive government jobs, stop the funding of all special treatment and whine groups. Remove the federal government from all areas of provincial respsonsibility.
How about a 1.5% income tax reduction on the first $30,000 earned?
Or an overall 20% income tax that has no exceptions, deductions or other bullshit?
I was thinking more like 8 or 9 %.
How would replacing him and reversing the income trust get people back the money they have already lost?
Whether it does or doesn't is not what's important right now. Investment adviser's have been referring investors to the US who are looking for safe investment. Away from Canada because of the income trust fiasco. I don't think Flaherty will be there that much longer. The fact that this committee even exists tends to point in that direction.
This really exposes the sustainable development crowd as to what they're all about. With years and years of knowledge about how build, they couldn't even build a house that could sustain its own construction.

Bush must have felt some pressure because now he is advocating for emissions standards in the U.S.
Bush said he would veto any bill from congress that set carbon emission caps. The dems know that and will send up some sort of bill to have it vetoed and wash their hands of it.
My ability to understand is just fine. I just wanted you state flat out what you meant. Anything else is cowardice.
What I meant, I stated quit clearly.
And climate change deniers nothing but paid PR flacks for the oil companies.
Oh the evil oil companies.
