  1. The left practice the politics of envy and believe in rewarding failure by punishing success.
  2. Dion himself said the targets were impossible. They had two committees look at it and both said there was no way to do it without destroying the economy.
  3. Really! Then why is called global warming. Is that just to scare people.
  4. Maybe it does at the outer edge of the lunatic fringe, but here on earth CO2 does not cause global warming.
  5. We can't do anything about natural co2 nor do we need to.
  6. Natural co2 is far larger than man made. One only has to look at the numbers to see it can barely be measured and has no great effect. The proxy records show that co2 does not cause temperature to rise, but follow temperature increases. Water vapor constitutes Earth's most significant greenhouse gas, accounting for about 95% of Earth's greenhouse effect (4). Interestingly, many "facts and figures' regarding global warming completely ignore the powerful effects of water vapor in the greenhouse system, carelessly (perhaps, deliberately) overstating human impacts as much as 20-fold. Water vapor is 99.999% of natural origin. Other atmospheric greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), and miscellaneous other gases (CFC's, etc.), are also mostly of natural origin (except for the latter, which is mostly anthropogenic). Human activites contribute slightly to greenhouse gas concentrations through farming, manufacturing, power generation, and transportation. However, these emissions are so dwarfed in comparison to emissions from natural sources we can do nothing about, that even the most costly efforts to limit human emissions would have a very small-- perhaps undetectable-- effect on global climate.
  7. But it is a minor player. Whos effect is so small it can barely be measured. http://www.geocraft.com/WVFossils/greenhouse_data.html
  8. So you can't just neglect CO2 in environmental considerations. Well if you are so worried about it you should be concerned with natural c02 because that is where the greatest amout of co2 comes from. Someone tried to tell us earlier that CO2 is not a pollutant. It's not.
  9. 70% of industrial greenhouse gas release is CO2, more than methane and nitrous oxide combined. So what.
  10. There is certainly no shortage of cultural marxists.
  11. The vast majority of co2 is released natural. Mans contribution is minuscule. A minor player so small it can barley be measured. Water vapor is the major green house gas.
  12. Co2 is not pollution.
  13. Who knows what evil lurks in the minds of men.
  14. Gore bought some phony carbon off sets. Turns out though he owns the off set company. So he actually paid himself. There is no end to the hypocrisy of the Goracle.
  15. The truth is getting out from various sources and people are beginning to realize they are being taken for a ride. The entire man made global warming scam is continuing to unravel. Even many in the media now know that they were duped and are turning on the climate alarmists and exposing the likes of the Goracle and doctor fruit fly as frauds who will likely soon have to wear disguises before going out in public. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/arti...5#StartComments
  16. That would create a competition between free health care and free public transit to see which one can bankrupt us first.
  17. Because they know the human cattle liners are a loser.
  18. One has to wonder what he thinks would be the main attraction. It's representative of liberals in general and stems from the fact that they are weak on defense.
  19. The goracles Oscar should have been for science fiction. http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=YjI4N...mI5MGEwZTFhM2E=
  20. I would expect you to understand, it goes to the responsiblity thing. How do you know. So he claims. Yeah it's another indian extortion scam. I'm not surprised you don't want to hear the truth. Which goes back to taking responsibility for ones own actions. So what was my agenda by posting this story that is so serious a public enguiry has been called ? Then maybe you should wait until it's over before going on a rant.
  21. I cant believe I actually read that. You are one sick puppy. 2 cops drag this man,who was drunk and soaking wet out of a cell, throw him into a paddy wagon and dump him in an alley where he died by morning of hypothermia and you say it is his fault? Do you consider yourself mature making a statement like that? And what the hell is this? One thing a leftist can't stand is to be told the truth. Did the cops pour the booze down the guys throat. Not likely. Even the article speculates on the cause of death, what were the circumstances leading up to his arrest, how long was he in jail. So you go off on a leftist rant that's typical of the a nany stater that looks like it's direction is to bilk the system for money, and reward more bad behavior. While I'm at it, here's some more truth. http://www.hamiltonspectator.com/NASApp/cs...d=1024322466723
  22. It's just political show boating. Jacks proposal would only apply to federally regulated employees who most likely already make a lot more than 10 dollars an hour. Hell, I was making more than ten bucks an hour back in the seventies.
  23. By the sounds of it this man was responsible for his own death. It's called taking responsibility for ones own actions. Something the left rejects in favor of the nany state.
  24. The left wouldn't have any problem handing a few billion over to some African dictators.
  25. Take a look at the original bill of rights. They were off to a good start until Trudeau bastardized the entire exercise with the charter of wrongs and special rights. Pay special attention to the preamble, the most important part, and this in particular : And being desirous of enshrining these principles and the human rights and fundamental freedoms derived from them, in a Bill of Rights which shall reflect the respect of Parliament for its constitutional authority and which shall ensure the protection of these rights and freedoms in Canada: This section stipulates that government must respect fundamental rights and freedoms, and if they didn't understand that, it further stipulates that government is restricted only that power which the constitution gives them. http://laws.justice.gc.ca/en/showdoc/cs/C-12.3///en?page=1
