Canada can get rich by going green: Dion
B. Max replied to stignasty's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Yeah if we shut down one third of the economy. The pembina institute is a left wing pink tank who have been trying to ruin Alberta's econmy for some years now. That would violate the equal treatment under the law in the constitution. Nothing new for the left though. There wouldn't be many other companies if it weren't for the oil companies. If they try ripping off the oil companies they will just pass those costs down the line. You can't force a company to buy the phony carbon credits from anyone. -
Dion: You can make big money from the environment
B. Max replied to Canuck E Stan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
If Fred Michel had a worthy argument for what he believed in, he would do better to write an academic journal on it. The Friends of Science group is populated by so many people who have no climate backgrounds, no current research on the subject, no peer reviewed works and dubious backing from unnamed sources usually tracked to oil companies. Total and typical smear tactics of the left wing promoters of the man made global warming scam. http://www.friendsofscience.org/index.php?ide=2 -

That's a lot of baloney. No scientist said winter will disappear. I never said that. Stop inventing things. They were all over the big ice shelf break a couple of weeks as proof of man made global warming. Now the big freeze in california and there's not a word out of them. Of course as expected and known to most people the ice self thing is nothing new. It's just more BS from the global warming machine. http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/story.h...ff-12b91884ddb2 -

No scientist has said winter would cease to exist ever again and that it would be summer all year long in North America. Actually they haven't said anything. They're just hoping nobody will notice. -
Do you agree with Kyoto - or not?

I'd say he's going to be in a lot bigger trouble. http://apnews.myway.com/article/20070116/D8MM27C83.html -
Harper should jump on this one right away before the greens drag him in front of the CBC cameras and say look Harper is anti environment or something like it it doesn't matter, if he doesn't pony up to this. http://en.rian.ru/russia/20070115/59078992.html

Another scientist says CO2 global warming is crap. Anyone with a clue knows Russia signed in hopes of filling their pockets. http://en.rian.ru/russia/20070115/59078992.html -

Kyoto and anything connected with it is insanity. -

We are already making money. Destroying the economy is not the way to make money. -
"It's when you get down to the specifics of how you will create and sustain that strong economy that people are looking for more specific answers as to exactly what taxes will be reduced, what regulations will be amended or eliminated, or what investments will be made to create a more competitive business climate." This doesn't sound like anything Dion has in mind.

Money & Oil - Are Canadians Ripped Off?
B. Max replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I didn't notice this before. This is not an Alberta example. It is a Saudi example. The flow rates aren't even in the same ball park. The government invests nothing to find and produce the oil and gas. They collect the money for nothing, and then waste a lot of it and can't even do what they are suppose to and build roads. The money is far better of in the hands of those who produce the goods and sevices. -
Dissent on climate change within Tory ranks

Global warming comes to an end in the east. http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/2007/01...3382185-cp.html -
I would go further than that. The US and Canada should both get out of nato.
-
Why do you keep dragging my name into it as if there is something wrong with what I said. I gave you the historical perspective on why women are the way they are.

The feminists driven by their own torment do not mean equal, they confuse equal with different which leads to more equal.
-
That came before and after the letter. Before from Pelosi and gang, after from two senators. The letter its self is way out of line.
-
Actually that's not evidence it's proof. Which is something the man made global warming screwballs don't have.

Dissent on climate change within Tory ranks

They should not give any concern to the ndp. They have lost something like 50% of their membership over the last couple of years. The Ont. auto works came out against layton and his crackpot kyoto suck up this week. Call Laytons bluff to force an election. He's holding a the dead mans hand. -
http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/070114/.../green_tax_poll Then they should find those fifty one percent and tax them like Christ bearing down on a sinner.
-
Oh, is that right. Then why do feminists so torment. What question. Ask Drea, she is the one who wanted to bet. How would I know and what does it have to do with feminists. That's not what I said. Only from a tormented mind would such nonsense as was in the original posters post come. One is either equal or they are not. Nor can they be made to be what they were not created to be. Perhaps that torments them.

Which is what I said. However that is beginning to disappear. In the last provincial election conservatives did not turn out as expected. Which I think began the end for Ralph. There were also calls from inside the party to look at separation. Alberta secession is not dead by any means. It is like a volcano that is waiting for the right combination of events and the right leader in place at the right time.

Yes, with polling numbers of 40% the party garnerned this many votes. Bruce Hutton did not run in the election I was talking about, and the 40% poll was taken after the election you are talking about.
