If Harper were smart he would have made it a confidence bill and let the government fall then fought the election on kyoto. Polls have shown that putting the state of the economy on the agenda causes kyoto to fall right off the radar screen. As one economic professor said today on Rutherford, everyone who has looked at it including himself has said that implementing kyoto would not just destroy the economy but collapse it. The CPC have been handed a golden opportunity.

There are a few people here whom discredit Suzuki vs dislike him. They challenge his view of global warming. That said, there are alot of scientists that are going to have to be discredited. I wouldn't say the "right wing" There are people on the right that agree with the science. There are people whom Shout "the Left" as if the left were responsible for "global warming" and without them, there would be no such thing. This topic has been difficult for myself to grasp. Slavik mentioned clearly about complexities and sound bites and the average person. I agree. But the right wing looks to discredit scientists in general by saying that their science is imprecise so that they can discredit science that they don't like such as smoking causes cancer or the evolution. What science, put it up there.

Well don't be looking in any mirrors. We already have the leftist military strategy as demonstrated by the dems in congress or in other words, the enemy from with in, and one can only assume they also speak for the rest of their international communist friends. For at least two years we've been hearing the leftist rants that Bush didn't put enough troops in Iraq to do the job. Now when he goes to put more troops in they try to block them. It's beyond hypocrisy and demonstrates what they've been about all along. Nothing but a bunch of treasonous traitors. I thought we were talking about the war the Islamics have been waging on the west for years and in particular the US who they constantly claim they are going to destroy along with Israel. I'm really surprised that Bush has been sucked into another one of North Korea's games. The fact they were even ready to claim they wanted to deal, was proof they were starting to hurt. Their little blackmail scheme has bought them some more time and the ability to keep the game going. In a year or so they'll be right back at it. Threatening the US and their neighbours.

The Clinton appeasement years lead to 911. Appeasement doesn't work, that is a proven fact. It's about time. They've been operating with the gloves on now for at least two years and results are the proof it hasn't worked. Now the gloves are off. They are now going after the trouble makers inside Iraq and out. It was reported the other night on Lars Larson that special forces are already now operating inside Iran. Taking out those supplying the arms to Iraq insurgents and organizing opposition groups to the Iran government. Another carrier group was moved to the area a couple of weeks ago and is another component of the new strategy that is long over due.

I don't know how easy obtaining either citizenship, language training or a law license would be. I was struggling with the language in my last visits, to Calgary, Algonquin Park, and Montreal. Well maybe you could try FT. Mac. Montreal I can understand, but cow town shouldn't be a problem.
