Conservative Inroads With Immigrants

Your timing is off, when you want to deliver a joke you need to pause a bit in the middle before delivering the punchline. Liberals and NDP supporters are not .................racist. Like that. -

Here is another generaliztion: you'll find that generalization is a refuge of the bigoted and stupid. Racism transcends party lines. -
Did God create Man , or did Man create God? Vote early. Vote often.

Conservative Inroads With Immigrants

In your political scale, I'm a conservative and think highly of immigrants and the need for continuing immigration to this country. Does that make me evil? -
Yeah, those public safety billions could be spent on something important, like a Wayne and Schuster retrospective on CBC. This prison building scheme is all part of Harpers neocon secret agenda. The entire NDP membership will be sent to special camps for re-education. He may also finally sent some of the Liberals involved in Adscam to jail. That alone would have them bursting at the seams. can you imagine the fighting over federal prison locations? Lots of jobs in jails with little local infrastucrure money or environmental hassles.

I wouldn't put too much importance into loans from the American Automobile Association.

One conversation you are unlikely to hear is " Bob Rae where are you?"

It is easily done, all he has to do is introduce legislation to eliminate the subsidies to political parties. It will really put the Liberal and NDP feet to the fire........we could be treated to the most hypocritical and prolonged verbal tapdance in history by Layton and Ignatieff......

You had mentioned possible crossbreeding with wolves as a cause of the attack, I wondered why there were no other known fatal attacks in the last 300 years or so of human habitation if that were the case. I was hoping that you had some reasons for that belief, but oh well. No, I would not have asked the question if I knew the answer. 'Adaption' has all the elements of a valid English verb, you could have made something up and I'd likely have thanked you.

Conservative Inroads With Immigrants
fellowtraveller replied to M.Dancer's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
How is that specific or relevant to 'this country'? They would feel that way no matter where they lived. It has nothing to do with their emigration here. If they are guilty of crimes, or express their intent to kill when they get here, entry should be denied. But you cannot pre-convict anybody for thoughtcrimes. I don't require a sense of kinship from immigrants. All that is required of immigrants is that they work, pay taxes and obey our laws. Beyond that, they should be free to do as they please - the same freedom I enjoy. .The kinship is inevitable with future generations, unless we follow the French example of ghettoization and official discrimination. -
This whole episode is even more laughable when you recall the whining and blubbering about lack of decorum in The House by both [Libby Davies and Jack Layton.

The migration/possible wolf crossbreeding took place long ago, why haven't there been many instances of coyote atacks on humans in Eastern Canada? I have my doubts that there is much crossbreeding between dogs and coyotes in the wild, the normal reaction of coyotes to domestic dogs is sudden death for the dogs. There are 16 subspecies of coyotes , and the differences are not 'substantial'. The size difference is considerable between say, Mexican coytotes and Eastern coyotes, but the differences between Canadian subspecies are not dramatic. What is 'adaption'?

Tough choice but put me down for number 2.

You must have missed the part that points put there are no wolves in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia, so recent cross breeding is extremely unlikely.

Good for Mason, it is truly a rare occurence when he gets the Premiers attention, much less gets his name in the newspaper. I was starting to think he had retired. -
Not in Alberta, coyotes often hunt in pairs here. I've observed them efficiently dispatching much larger farm dogs using this style, and groups hunting mice in fields. But not people.......

Me too. I also support the elimination of government subsidies for political parties. -
I do not ever recall hearing of coyotes attacking a person, much less killing one.
