Gap between rich and poor rising faster in Canada
Rick replied to Rick's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
No and it can't happen here soon enough for my liking.Argus seems to think that the poor are simply lazy rather than believe they often work 70+ hours per week in their jobs just to survive let alone put anything away in savings. But somehow I get the feeling he's never experienced what today's blue collar'd worker has to go through. -

There is a very real 3rd effect.Sooner than later there will be a civil war within this country where your kind will be the target by the growing numbers of Canadians fed up with the arrogance of the rich who continue to profit from more and more tax breaks all while exploiting the working class through lower or stagnant wages. History always repeats itself. Tick tock..... -
Gap between rich and poor rising faster in Canada than the U.S., study finds But I'm sure Harper's tea party terrrorist supporters will jump right in here to defend the rights of the rich....

Corporate tax cuts/breaks don't create jobs!
Rick replied to CPCFTW's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
It's not jealousy it's more like anger from seeing retards continually support the exploitation of the working class. In essence, the right wing's worship of slavery. -

Comrade Rolf eh... You're not the least bit anti-union now are you. Save your right wing anti-union propoganda. Your ignorance and apparent love of slavery through your profound defence of U.S. Steel's screwing workers over says it all. Your denial is about as deep as Tony Clement saying he never did anything wrong with the G8 slush fund.. -

Oh I know full well how business works.Need some examples? CEO's screw the workers while padding their own fat corporate asses A CEO sees his salary as a measure of his worth, and views his employees as relatively worthless -

I think axing the ridiculous salaries of too many management pigs at the trough and forcing corporations to provide Canadian workers with full time jobs and wages that match if they wish to sell their goods in this country is what is needed.Kissing the corporate ass doesn't lead to more jobs. We've already seen that. -

So your answer is, to permit U.S. Steel to extort concessions on pensions despite the legal commitments it made to the Government of Ontario when it promised to maintain the current pension regime until 2015.U.S. Steel also closed down production which is in direct violation of commitments it made under the Investment Canada Act. I find it curious how you fail to mention that small detail... -
Were the Liberals charged and found guilty by Elections Canada? Were the Liberals even mentioned in this article?Your Conservatives are much like the Liberals though...they keep stalling over and over by ignoring or appealling the rulings with impunity. Birds of the same feather.

Corporate tax cuts/breaks don't create jobs!

As opposed to the current working poor who are expected to work for peanuts and no benefits because corporations are too bloody cheap to employ them directly and give them full time wages plus benefits.Lordy...we can't cut into the corporate pigs trough to feed the slaves now can we. Keep it up, please keep your neanderthal slavery loving ways of thinking because it's exactly the fuel that will ignite the uprising here that we are witnessing everywhere else in the world. -

You've nailed it.Corporate tax cuts have done nothing to help out the workers. What should be abolished are temp agencies which more and more companies are utilizing as a means to get out of paying workers full time wages and benefits. -

Yes, god forbid that anyone should be looking out for the workers best interests and ensuring they get treated fairly.I mean the gall of some people to dare cut into the CEO's golfing budget.... If Conservatives had their way, we'd all be working in sweatshops. Or they'd legalise slavery. -
Oh this is rich....complaints about election financing coming from the In and Out Party of criminals...

AG Draft Report: G8 Funding Lacked Transparency
Rick replied to guyser's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
But PM Pinnochio's promised not to do it again. He even pinky sweared it. -
Well with the numerous wannabe CEO Barney Fife's that we seem to have parading around as "security experts" these days.. it's no wonder they'd insist on travelling by private jet for "security reasons" and not having any issues about sitting with 17,000 plus foreign, un-scrutinized, un-checked potentially hostile strangers surrounding them. After all, Harper's boys believe that they're entitled to their entitlements too.

AG Draft Report: G8 Funding Lacked Transparency
Rick replied to guyser's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Amen. But we both know what happens whenever there's anything remotely critical of the cons Dear Leader...they intentionally toss every red herring into the fray and attempt to derail the thread to thwart attention away from the actual facts.. and today, the auditor-general's report proved it. Harper's party of cons and crooks stole taxpayers money. -
Right.... It seems the Cons are certainly wasting no time in outdoing the Liberals who they used to ridicule in their quest to defend the waste of tax payers money. Let's see if Harper can remember his own words: Good ole Stevie Hyprocrite... never one to let hypocrisy stand in his quest to outdo the Liberals. C
-
Ah yes, the security issue... Harper can't take a commercial flight with other people for "security reasons", but he apparently can then sit with 17,565 strangers in the Boston arena.
-
Since there are zero members of the NDP in the Senate which needs to be abolished or serving in Stevie Harpocrite's bloated cabinet, it wouldn't apply. Now if you were to say, across the board reduction in pay for all MP's by 25% to start and axing their life time pensions... I'd be supportive of that.
-
Most blue collar workers have already had a 10 yr wage freeze while the CEO's have been leeching off of their hard work. How many blue collared workers do you think actually have been given an annual cost of living increase in the past 10 years. Before you start slashing public servants wages how about we start with Stevie's salary, perks and that of his bloated cabinet.. Say reducing their budgets and salaries by 40% to start off... Get rid of all the piggies in the senate too...

Failed Conservative Candidates Find New Home...
Rick replied to MiddleClassCentrist's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I will never ever refer to that waste of skin Stevie Harpocrite by his proper name or respect him in any way by addressing him as PM. If that offends, then people need to grow a thicker skin. And for the record, you are very definitely defending Harpocrite's actions -
I am utterly disgusted with MP compensation
Rick replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
And not be be outdone, Harper's Conservatives quickly became cozy with the Hell's Angels themselves.. Maxine Bernier was even sleeping with one of their girls... -

So your entire defence for all of Stevie Harpocrite's failings, lies and unfulfilled promises is to use the governments of a decade ago, one which Harpocrite himself promised to be better than as an excuse? It's people like you that are the very reason why there is such great apathy and disgust for the way this country is run. And it demonstrates very clearly why the NDP continue to grow in leaps and bounds. -

And quite curiously you avoided answering any of the issues I raised about your own lying waste of skin leader's moves... By the bye, we're talking about Harper not people who have zero bearing on Canada's economic or political state. Try and keep up -
And forget about trying to do that in Vancouver. It'd be impossible where 75% of income goes to pay for basic living accommodations..http://ca.news.yahoo.com/home-ownership-harder-first-quarter-prices-rise-mortgage-090123396.html
