  1. you didn't get the meaning of what i said. what i meant was that except for a few, countries accept israel and are not looking for its destruction. when there is any talk about israel's illegal settlements and expansion (which the world, including u.s. and canada agree that it's illegal), then the zionist apologists, scream like chicken little that people want to "deligitimize israel" and want to "push israel into the sea" and want to "wipe israel off the map". the usual sensational bs, to stop criticism of israel. when in reality, this is not about israel, within its legal borders, but about the expanding illegal settlements.
  2. b.s. when you start out your post with that statement, the rest of your drivel does not warrant a response. i and others have posted the many examples of the discriminatory laws in israel. from citizenship, to land ownership to educational funds allocation. the discrimination is across the board. Discriminatory Laws in Israelhere is a link that lists the Currently Pending Discriminatory Bills in the 19th Israeli Knesset
  3. zionist apologists talk about "singling out israel" when it comes to its violations of international law. any time there is criticism of israel, this particular card is pulled out more often than the others in order to curb and stop legitimate criticism of israel. an article in the guardian, was a reminder of the hypocrisy of the zionist/colonialist approach to debate on world politics and the western stance on different issues:
  4. israel is not singled out. the only reason we're talking about israel is because you and other zionists are unable to accept what israel is doing is illegal and against the moral and ethical standards of the west. i do not see countries who break the law getting a pass. most everyone here agrees that their undemocratic and unethical behaviour is wrong and there is no objection to this. this is why we don't debate it. however, there is a huge resistance in acknowledging and accepting israel's violations of international law. many of the things israel does and how it treats its minorities, not only in the occupied territories, but also inside israel, would NOT be acceptable in canada. harper has failed to acknowledge this and this is why he is known for being completely biased and someone who does not represent what canada stands for both legally and morally.
  5. no one is backing muslim fundamentalists by speaking out against human rights violations by israel. you have a very narrow and naive view of things.
  6. the major settlements in the west bank and east jerusalem started in the 90's. these settlements are deemed illegal under international law and canadian law. something our dear leader, harper, forgets to acknowledge and admit, even though he claims to be clear about what canada stands for. no one gives a shit about israel, within its legal borders. this is now about the illegal settlements and the land that israel has annexed from the palestinians. every declaration and comparison that is made by these fascist zionists is ironic.
  7. do you support torture of children by the israelis?
  8. don't be fooled. harper is all israel, all the time. this $66 million will be to prop up abbas and his corrupt government and to strengthen the PA's security forces. these 10,000+ men are headed by a u.s. general. American General Keith Dayton, in charge of organizing a 10,000-member Palestinian security force, even admitted that he was strengthening Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah against Hamas, telling a US audience in May 2009 his force was “working against illegal Hamas activities.” According to Al Jazeera, between 2007 and early 2011 PA security forces arrested some 10,000 suspected Hamas supporters in the West Bank. if that's not blatant enough, how about this: “We don’t provide anything to the Palestinians,” Dayton told the Associated Press in June 2009, “unless it has been thoroughly coordinated with the State of Israel and they agree to it.” For instance, Israel’s notorious internal intelligence agency, the Shin Bet, vets all of the Palestinian recruits, according to US government reports.
  9. when i see you type "lol", the crazy image gets bolder. what are you waiting for rue? you are the one who was supposed to back up the comments you've posted about me. let me know when you're able to back up your claim. if you're unable to back up this claim, then you have once again been caught lying:
  10. i take it that your silence on canada's policy towards the illegal jewish settlements shows that you've learned something. we are talking about harper and its lip service and its support for israel. this is why HJ's comments on israel's policy, like torturing children, is NOT off topic. all you're trying to do is try to avoid the truth.
  11. there is no shortage of arab oil money to convince the FIFA officials. there has been talk about having some of the games in iran: Fifa president Sepp Blatter revealed that some of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar could be held in Iran and other Middle Eastern countries.
  12. not being able to back up your claims about a person is one way of admitting that you were once again making things up or have some mental issue where you see and hear things that aren't really there.
  13. the bds movement is front page in israel. boycott will be a tsunami, wiping away the good with the wicked. no israeli should assume they will be immune. palestinians do have power, the power of conscience, and when the world gets behind it because the "offer" of the israeli government is no offer at all, whatever isolation jews have felt in the past will pale in comparison to what may be coming . and the main difference is that every new generation of american feels less and less guilt about calling things as they see them when it comes to israel. that is especially true of young jews. “100 leaders of the economy warn of boycott on Israel,” reads the lead headline in Monday’s Yedioth Ahronoth. The sub-headline includes the quote, “The world is losing its patience and the threat of sanctions is increasing. We must reach an agreement with the Palestinians.” The commentary next to it by star columnist Sever Plocker is titled, “It’s the economy, Bibi.” Yedioth is almost as popular and influential an Israeli newspaper as Channel 2 is an Israeli TV news show. Between Channel 2’s Saturday night prime time wake-up call about the boycott and now this one, it’s likely that the Israeli public is beginning the process of waking up. The Israeli government – probably not so much. Which means the boycott will continue to grow, until some Israeli government in the indeterminate future is awakened by it, too. link
  14. i'd agree that it's possible that it could decrease posting participation. however, this is just a feeling that i have. it could go the other way. i know when i'm looking at the comment section of articles, i am automatically drawn to looking at posts with the most activity. that is, posts with the most negative and/or positive ranking and responses.
  15. you are ridiculous. because pretty much everyone in the world, including canada, u.s. and even many of the israeli politicians are calling for a palestinian state. what you're saying is that pretty much everyone in the world is supporting anti-semitism and the third reich. i think it's time for you to retire or change your username to 'ridiculous'.
  16. supporting the formation of a palestinian state does not equal to supporting anti-semitism and the third reich. you are ridiculous.
  17. so why do you (and some organization) continue to support pedophilia and blowing up the moon?
  18. attention: bushcheney, rue, shady, army guy, dogonporch
  19. i doubt you are mentally stable. you have a very hard time following what is said and your mental instability results in thinking things that people have never said. what? this is what i mean by you being mentally unstable. show me where i have ever advocated for violently dismantling israel or engaging them in terrorism, or correct yourself. you are ultra-nationalistic. i never said you hated palestinians. either show me where i have said this, or correct yourself.
  20. why would you think i'd hate it? i didn't hate it. i thought it was honest and cut through the b.s. we're used to hearing from israel. i thought the message from the six leaders was right: which is to end the occupation, halt the settlements and engage the palestinians, even hamas.
