  1. okay then. if this is what you choose to do. you stick to propane and dishonest, lowbrowed, character assassinations like peeves and kraychik and i'll stick to having real debates. back on block you go.
  2. oh. good. i'm glad we have one of romney's inside people telling us what he really meant. when you see romney next time, could you ask him why he didn't say mediterranean instead of sea? because it looks like he thinks iran is landlocked and has no access to the sea and that their aspirations to take over the world through the seas goes through syria.
  3. don't forget that american woman claimed that UN has declared that the gaza blockade is legal. #1 - there was no declaration by the UN on the legality of the blockade. a UN declaration is something that has a much bigger weight. usually the international court of justice is involved in UN declarations. this report, as many have said was a politically charged report. #2 - her source is referring to the "naval" blockade and not the whole gaza blockade as she falsely tried to claim.
  4. since you have a bad habit of avoiding to respond to facts, here it is again: let's start with two things you need to learn in regards to this issue, so you'd have a better understanding of what you're trying to debate here: first, the palmer report said the naval blockade is legal. it did not make a ruling on the entire gaza blockade. it's very important that you understand that. second, the UN has not declared that the naval blockade is legal, even though that was the finding of the palmer report. this is just like how the UN has not declared that israel's blockade of gaza is illegal and is a war crime, even though that is what the goldstone report, and many human rights organizations have concluded. if you want to know more about UN declarations, go here. by the way, while we're talking about the palmer report, let's look at a tiny mention of something, that made it to the politically charged report: “Forensic evidence showing that most of the deceased were shot multiple times, including in the back, or at close range has not been adequately accounted for in the material presented by Israel.” let's also talk about criticism of the report's conclusion in regards to the naval blockade of gaza. here is one from Gisha - Legal Center for Freedom of Movement. gisha is chaired by kenneth mann, a professor at tel aviv university faculty of law. gisha's board members include dan rabinowitz, yishai blank and alaa masarwa, all also professors at tel aviv university faculty of law. here is what they say about the legality of the maritime blockade: “By preventing the passage of civilians and goods of a civilian nature to and from the Gaza Strip, Israel has paralyzed the economy of the area and caused substantial damage to key aspects of civilian life. In so doing, it has violated its obligations under international law, rendering its policy of closure – including the maritime closure – unlawful.” a lot can be learned from one post. here is what another UN panel has said about the report and the blockade: Mr. Richard Falk, Special rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory, stressed that “The Palmer report was aimed at political reconciliation between Israel and Turkey. It is unfortunate that in the report politics should trump the law.” Mr. Falk continued, “the most questionable move of the Palmer Panel was to separate the naval blockade from the overall closure of Gaza to a normal supply of humanitarian supplies, including supplies needed for medical operations and sanitation. The flotilla incident was about the effort to circumvent this aspect of Israeli policies, and the organizers posed no objection to inspection carried out to prevent weapons from entering Gaza.” The blockade of Gaza continues to violate international law, the experts concluded, recalling that this conclusion had been reached by the international fact-finding mission appointed by the Human Rights Council to inquire into the 31 May 2010 flotilla incident in its report of September 2010. “It is unacceptable that the human rights of the people of Gaza are disregarded because of the positions adopted by political leaders”, the experts said. “It is not the Hamas Government that is being punished, but ordinary Gazans.”
  5. i agree. his wife's refusal to do an autopsy right away seems a bit odd since there was no evidence on the cause of death. but their request came after a separate investigation in 2010 by a swiss lab found polonium in his clothes. same poison used to kill the russian spy, litvinenko. “The Al-Jazeera investigation that revealed abnormally high doses of polonium on Arafat’s clothes prodded me to search for the whole truth about the death of my husband,” Suha Arafat told French daily le Figaro Wednesday. “I didn’t even want to think about the possibility of poisoning—it was dangerous to make the claim without proof… [but] after the conclusions of the Swiss laboratory, I went into action.” Nagging questions and puzzling details are central to the request for the new examination. As Mrs. Arafat notes in her le Figaro interview, she and other interested parties were stunned to learn that in 2008, the French hospital that had cared for her husband prior to his death destroyed all blood and urine samples taken from him during his treatment. That decision strikes some observers as overly hasty given the 10-year window of opportunity in France that family members have to petition for new inquiries into the unsolved deaths of loved ones. “On top of that, Arafat was a head of state — not just any old patient,” his wife said in her interview. “It’s surprising that a sovereign country like France doesn’t know the cause of death of a head of state who’d been treated in one of its hospitals… That’s the reason why I’m asking in the case for the declassification of the medical report. There’s surely a complete copy of it in the archives somewhere in France.” link i never asserted that he was poisoned by israel. you should pay attention. what i said was that any reasonable person should suspect israel as they have a history of assassinating leaders by many different ways, including by poisoning. the KGB, CIA and mossad all possess poisons that leave no routinely detectable trace. so yes, it's reasonable to believe that israel could be behind poisoning arafat. wouldn't you agree? in the 90's, hamas' leader was poisoned by mossad and after an ultimatum by king hussain mossad was forced to give the antidote. On 25 September 1997, Mashal was the target of an assassination attempt carried out by the Israeli Mossad under orders from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his security cabinet. The assassination was intended as retaliation to the 1997 Mahane Yehuda Market Bombings. The Mossad agents waited at the entrance of the Hamas offices in Amman, with the intention of assassinating Khalid Mashal. At the time of the assassination attempt Mashal was considered Hamas' Jordanian branch chief. Two Mossad agents carrying Canadian passports entered Jordan, where Mashal was living. As Mashal walked into his office, one of the agents came up from behind and held a device to Mashal's left ear that transmitted a fast-acting poison. However, immediately afterwards, Khalid Mashal's personal chauffeur and a security guard intervened. The chauffeur, who saw what was happening, hit the agent with a newspaper on his hand. The security guard began to chase the agents, and was able to note the license plate number of the car in which they had escaped, and boarded a passing car in order to pursue them. The agents were unaware that they were being followed. After some 300 meters, they stopped their car and left it. The security guard chased them and, with the help of a plainclothes policeman, managed to overpower and apprehend them. The agents were driven by the policeman and the security guard in a taxi to the nearest police station, and placed under arrest. Immediately after the incident, Jordan's King Hussein demanded that Benjamin Netanyahu turn over the antidote for the poison. At first Netanyahu refused, but as the incident grew in political significance, American President Bill Clinton intervened and compelled Netanyahu to turn over the antidote. The Head of the Mossad, Danny Yatom, flew to Jordan, with the Prime Minister's consent, bringing with him an antidote to treat Khalid Mashal. link ariel sharon had always wanted to kill arafat. this is no secret. he's even talked about 'arafat having no insurance policy'. the only reason arafat wasn't killed in his compound, where he was surrounded by israeli military was because of the assurance sharon made to bush. it's understandable how an open assassination would strictly forbidden by the americans. any sensible person would conclude that israel is a prime suspect. israel doesn't need my help or anyone else's help to look bad. as it has been mentioned, israel violates international law and assassinates or attempts to assassinate people all the time. anyone with any knowledge of israel knows this. they're not that great at hiding it either. they've been caught red handed a few times. most recently, the debacle in the UAE where all the agents and their fake passports were identified.
  6. ‎"syria is iran's route to the sea." really, mitt?
  7. leeroy jenkins foreign policy can only create humour on youtube.
  8. it's weird that you're able to post one misinformation after another. the cause of his illness and death has always been 'unknown'. so how will you react if the results of the autopsy show that he was poisoned? let me guess, you will do what you usually do when you've been proven to be wrong; pretend it didn't happen and make sure to repeat the false assertions you've been wrong about before.
  9. let's start with two things you need to learn in regards to this issue, so you'd have a better understanding of what you're trying to debate here: first, the palmer report said the naval blockade is legal. it did not make a ruling on the entire gaza blockade. it's very important that you understand that. second, the UN has not declared that the naval blockade is legal, even though that was the finding of the palmer report. this is just like how the UN has not declared that israel's blockade of gaza is illegal and is a war crime, even though that is what the goldstone report, and many human rights organizations have concluded. if you want to know more about UN declarations, go here. by the way, while we're talking about the palmer report, let's look at a tiny mention of something, that made it to the politically charged report: “Forensic evidence showing that most of the deceased were shot multiple times, including in the back, or at close range has not been adequately accounted for in the material presented by Israel.” let's also talk about criticism of the report's conclusion in regards to the naval blockade of gaza. here is one from Gisha - Legal Center for Freedom of Movement. gisha is chaired by kenneth mann, a professor at tel aviv university faculty of law. gisha's board members include dan rabinowitz, yishai blank and alaa masarwa, all also professors at tel aviv university faculty of law. here is what they say about the legality of the maritime blockade: “By preventing the passage of civilians and goods of a civilian nature to and from the Gaza Strip, Israel has paralyzed the economy of the area and caused substantial damage to key aspects of civilian life. 10. i can't respond to you when you're unable to stay focused and respond to actual comments made.
  11. we're down the stretch. now let the money of sheldon adelson, the koch brothers and the other millions carl rove has been able to collect do their magic on the airways. i'm sure the money obama has collected from soros and the financial sector will be flooding the media as well. these are exciting and i'm assuming anxious times for the fanboys! turn up the rhetoric!
  12. not sure why you think it's funny or why you're trying to make it seem like it would be far fetched in suspecting israel to be behind this. i think it's highly likely they were behind it since they have a history of assassinating people. any sensible person would have the same conclusion. first though, i am interested in seeing the report which will tell us whether he was poisoned and with what. by the way, i'm not holding my breath, but i hope you won't repeat another myth (arafat had AIDS), since it's already been established that the rumours have been debunked. it's important that we learn not to continue to spread misinformation once its been established that it's misinformation.
  13. battleship.
  14. are you purposely spreading misinformation or are you a simpleton who repeats whatever that you deem to be anti-palestinian without actually looking into it? the AIDS myth was debunked years ago, but you're still repeating it? NYT - 2005 news accounts during Arafat's illness made him strongly suspect that Arafat had AIDS. But after studying the records, he said that was improbable, given the sudden onset of the intestinal troubles. why would it be far fetched to suspect israel to be behind poisoning arafat? you mean to tell me that israel and mossad do not engage in assassinations? they're the masters of assassinations and there are many reasons to believe that israel would be behind the assassination of arafat.
  15. so where does it say that the UN has declared the blockade to be legal, as you put it? lots of people have opinions, including michael ross: Michael Ross is a former 13-year veteran of the Israel Secret Intelligence Service so this "report" by a UN panel says that the "naval" blockade is legal. where does it say that the UN has declared the blockade of gaza to be legal? no matter, there is no declaration by the UN that the blockade is legal. a report is not a declaration. are you saying that the UN has declared israel's war on gaza to be war crimes, considering a UN panel, called the goldstone report concluded that israel committed war crimes and possible crimes against humanity? for those who care what the UN report, which looked at the whole blockade of gaza, has to say: "Israeli acts that deprive Palestinians in the Gaza Strip of their means of subsistence, employment, housing and water, that deny their freedom of movement and their right to leave and enter their own country, that limit their rights to access a court of law and an effective remedy, could lead a competent court to find that the crime of persecution, a crime against humanity, has been committed." The Goldstone report recommended that the matter be referred to the International Criminal Court if the situation has not improved in six months." link
  16. weapons have never been found on these humanitarian boats. people don't believe your misinformation anymore. your lies and narrative is no longer being accepted as the truth. you see, i showed you what the platform of the israeli government is and instead of acknowledging their terrible stance, like everyone does with hamas' charter, you pretend it's not there. that said, there is a glaring difference between hamas's position and israeli government's position, which is that the israeli state already exists but the palestinian state is being prevented from being created. the hypocrisy and arrogance of asking people to never forget how jews were treated in places like auschwitz and then sitting silent and even trying to justify the actions of israel towards the people in gaza is one of the elephants in the room that more and more people are no longer willing to ignore. israel is preventing human rights and dignity for the palestinians, especially for the people in gaza. israel has created an open air prison in gaza. they've taken these people hostage and numerous reports and human rights organizations agree that their actions are in violation of human rights. (well, duh.). the last straw is how more and more jews outside of israel, especially the younger jews, are distancing themselves from israel's actions. they can no longer relate to the ugliness of zionism. the zionist dream of greater israel will be coming to an end.
  17. you cannot rely on ignorance and misinformation. it is no longer accepted. this is not self preservation: likud platform Self-Rule The Government of Israel flatly rejects the establishment of a Palestinian Arab state west of the Jordan river. The Palestinians can run their lives freely in the framework of self-rule, but not as an independent and sovereign state. Thus, for example, in matters of foreign affairs, security, immigration and ecology, their activity shall be limited in accordance with imperatives of Israel's existence, security and national needs.
  18. israel's arrogance is no longer something that can be brushed under the rug. the tide is turning and the current israeli government is speeding up the process. maybe obama, in his final term, will make history and become the first president who is able to overcome the heavy pressure and the stranglehold on america's foreign policy and tell israel that the money ($3 billion+/year) and political backing (UN veto) has to be earned. bush senior made the mistake of doing it in his first term and he paid for it. obama doesn't have that to worry about that.
  19. UN has not declared whether it's legal or illegal. (for those who are interested in facts)
  20. that b.s. smear propaganda on the founder of the free gaza movement has already been debunked. you're only trying to divert attention away from the zionist apartheid regime's violation of human rights. --- CBC Victoria Strand, a spokeswoman for Ship to Gaza in Sweden, which sent the Estelle, told the Associated Press that armed, masked soldiers boarded the boat and cut their communications as they were some 30 nautical miles from Gaza. She said activists on board told her that some six naval boats surrounded their vessel. "This is a demonstration of ruthlessness," Strand said. Some of the items aboard the Estella: two olive trees 41 tonnes of cement wheelchairs, walkers and crutches midwifery stethoscope children books and toys 300 footballs musical instruments theatrical equipment, especially lightning an anchor from the Canadian contingent for a vessel, Gaza's Ark, to be built in Gaza VHF radio for the Gaza's Ark project
  21. a boat carrying soccerballs, musical instruments and children books for kids in gaza is boarded and seized:
  22. watching dogonporch trying to dismiss israel's responsibility for the atrocious acts in gaza is like watching a holocaust denier who refuses to accept germany's actions in world war 2.
  23. so yeah, once again, dogonporch is unable to counter facts and so he deviates and begins attacking the sources. this time, he's trying to belittle and dismiss an israeli historian and a self-proclaimed zionist, benny morris. his work, which uses documentation from many different sides, some being finally released by the israeli government, decades after what had happened, has been praised anywhere you turn to. except perhaps by those who have a need to whitewash the past. how often do you repeat the grand mufti's ties to the nazis and try to paint the palestinians as allies of the nazis? why then so silent on irgun and lehi and their leaders who not only attacked and killed the british but they also committed terrorist attacks against civilians. then, their leaders became prime ministers of israel. wouldn't that be as alarming, if not more alarming? so why are you so selective about your history if you claim to be honest and truthful?
  24. either you cite how and where i'm a 'islamic anti-semite' or your words have no meaning and it will be seen as another one of your attempts to silence criticism of israel. the information i have posted come directly from books written by benny morris and other israeli historians. specifically the information about irgun, lehi and former israeli prime ministers who were the leaders of these groups and who participated in terrorism and attacks on the allies. so what you're doing is calling benny morris and other israeli historians' information "islamic and anti-semitic narrative".
