I am beginning to think this was a mistake to wish people on this board happy canada day. I think canadians have become very spoiled and don't realize how fucking good we got it. One of the biggest reasons we have it so good is because of our history and being lucky to be part of the british empire. And if you actually took the time to read history and check to look at countries that were part of a empire ,the british ones have mostly turn out great. Look at america whom rejected their history for thier ties to england and look at them now, despised ,broke and going nowhere. I am so sick of the hatreds (and I am just as guilty) over just about anything that goes on in this country. I find it quite enjoyable that we can at least once a year to have huge crowds in canada ,where everyone is having fun, no looting , no car burnIngs , no police actions. But yet certain canadians still are not happy and will complain and bitch no matter what. We all need to CHANGE.

And I will say it is mainly goverment unions that are the worst, some unions have done some great work in helping people in other areas. And now that we have these same unions supporting the canadian ship to gaza, what type of shit is that. That right there should be illegal for unions to get involved in politics and world affairs. And I understand we will be paying for teachers to campaign for the libs or dippers, because they are still not happy with a 24% increasein pay in the last 8 years they recieved from dalton, whose wife happens to be a teacher.. And one more thing, greece!

Harper cleaned up the mess left behind by chretien. The prisoners should have been handed over to the americans but oh no, chretien was not going to deal with the evil americans, and that is why we are in this mess.
