Will Canada Choose Next Que Referendum Question?
rbacon replied to mirror's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Quebec can leave without using the Clarity Act at all, they can use UDI. Seeing as no one in the Confederation of Canada voted to join the Confederation, why would they ask anyone in the Confederation if they can leave. Canada is not a Federal State, it is a Confederation of Sovereign Provinces the two are very different legally. They have a legitimate Parliament. They have a Head of State, that is equal to Ottawa's Head of State the GG. They have a Prime Minister already. They have a border, Quebec belongs to Quebecers not Canadians. I hope they just go UDI. Besides what could Ottawa or Canada do besides knash their gums like a toothless old Border Collie. Would any of you want to see Quebecers killed because they don't want to be a part of Canada. Not me. -
Shoop the Total Public Debt is over 4,000,000,000,000.00, the total debt of QPP and CPP is 1.3Trillion in unfunded liability alone. The 600B is what has been spent in total since the inception of the Le Grande Design by Trudeau on Bi-lingualism. The 500 or so Billion is just the deficit not the total public indebtiness of all levels of Government in Canada. The Total Public debt is over $4,000,000,000,000.00 Loons.
-
How about the 600B that has been spent on Official Bi-Lingualism.

Business Under Nazis by Ralph R. Reiland In 1944, Ludwig von Mises published one of his least-known masterworks: Omnipotent Government: The Rise of the Total State and Total War. Drawing on his prewar experience in Vienna, watching the rise of the National Socialists in Germany (the Nazis), who would eventually take over his own homeland, he set out to draw parallels between the Russian and German experience with socialism. It was common in those days, as it is in ours, to identify the Communists as leftist and the Nazis as rightists, as if they stood on opposite ends of the ideological spectrum. But Mises knew differently. They both sported the same ideological pedigree of socialism. "The German and Russian systems of socialism have in common the fact that the government has full control of the means of production. It decides what shall be produced and how. It allots to each individual a share of consumer's goods for his consumption." The difference between the systems, wrote Mises, is that the German pattern "maintains private ownership of the means of production and keeps the appearance of ordinary prices, wages, and markets." But in fact the government directs production decisions, curbs entrepreneurship and the labor market, and determines wages and interest rates by central authority. "Market exchange," says Mises, "is only a sham." Mises's account is confirmed by a remarkable book that appeared in 1939, published by Vanguard Press in New York City (and unfortunately out of print today). It is The Vampire Economy: Doing Business Under Fascism by Guenter Reimann, then a 35-year-old German writer. Through contacts with German business owners, Reimann documented how the "monster machine" of the Nazis crushed the autonomy of the private sector through onerous regulations, harsh inspections, and the threat of confiscatory fines for petty offenses. "Industrialists were visited by state auditors who had strict orders to examine the balance sheets and all bookkeeping entries of the company or individual businessmen for the preceding two, three, or more years until some error or false entry was found," explains Reimann. "The slightest formal mistake was punished with tremendous penalties. A fine of millions of marks was imposed for a single bookkeeping error." Reimann quotes from a businessman's letter: "You have no idea how far state control goes and how much power the Nazi representatives have over our work. The worst of it is that they are so ignorant. These Nazi radicals think of nothing except 'distributing the wealth.' Some businessmen have even started studying Marxist theories, so that they will have a better understanding of the present economic system. "While state representatives are busily engaged in investigating and interfering, our agents and salesmen are handicapped because they never know whether or not a sale at a higher price will mean denunciation as a 'profiteer' or 'saboteur,' followed by a prison sentence. You cannot imagine how taxation has increased. Yet everyone is afraid to complain. Everywhere there is a growing undercurrent of bitterness. Everyone has his doubts about the system, unless he is very young, very stupid, or is bound to it by the privileges he enjoys. "There are terrible times coming. If only I had succeeded in smuggling out $10,000 or even $5,000, I would leave Germany with my family. Business friends of mine are convinced that it will be the turn of the 'white Jews' (which means us, Aryan businessmen) after the Jews have been expropriated. The difference between this and the Russian system is much less than you think, despite the fact that we are still independent businessmen." As Mises says, we are "independent" only in a decorous sense. Under fascism, explains this businessman, the capitalist "must be servile to the representatives of the state" and "must not insist on rights, and must not behave as if his private property rights were still sacred." It's the businessman, characteristically independent, who is "most likely to get into trouble with the Gestapo for having grumbled incautiously." "Of all businessmen, the small shopkeeper is the one most under control and most at the mercy of the party," recounts Reimann. "The party man, whose goodwill he must have, does not live in faraway Berlin; he lives right next door or right around the corner. This local Hitler gets a report every day on what is discussed in Herr Schultz's bakery and Herr Schmidt's butcher shop. He would regard these men as 'enemies of the state' if they complained too much. That would mean, at the very least, the cutting of their quota of scarce and hence highly desirable goods, and it might mean the loss of their business licenses. Small shopkeepers and artisans are not to grumble." "Officials, trained only to obey orders, have neither the desire, the equipment, nor the vision to modify rules to suit individual situations," Reimann explains. "The state bureaucrats, therefore, apply these laws rigidly and mechanically, without regard for the vital interests of essential parts of the national economy. Their only incentive to modify the letter of the law is in bribes from businessmen, who for their part use bribery as their only means of obtaining relief from a rigidity which they find crippling." Says another businessman: "Each business move has become very complicated and is full of legal traps which the average businessman cannot determine because there are so many new decrees. All of us in business are constantly in fear of being penalized for the violation of some decree or law." Business owners, explains another entrepreneur, cannot exist without a "collaborator," i.e., a "lawyer" with good contacts in the Nazi bureaucracy, one who "knows exactly how far you can circumvent the law." Nazi officials, explains Reimann, "obtain money for themselves by merely taking it from capitalists who have funds available with which to purchase influence and protection," paying for their protection "as did the helpless peasants of feudal days." "It has gotten to the point where I cannot talk even in my own factory," laments a factory owner. "Accidentally, one of the workers overheard me grumbling about some new bureaucratic regulation and he immediately denounced me to the party and the Labor Front office." Reports another factory owner: "The greater part of the week I don't see my factory at all. All this time I spend in visiting dozens of government commissions and offices in order to get raw materials I need. Then there are various tax problems to settle and I must have continual conferences and negotiations with the Price Commission. It sometimes seems as if I do nothing but that, and everywhere I go there are more leaders, party secretaries, and commissars to see." In this totalitarian paradigm, a businessman, declares a Nazi decree, "practices his functions primarily as a representative of the State, only secondarily for his own sake." Complain, warns a Nazi directive, and "we shall take away the freedom still left you." In 1933, six years before Reimann's book, Victor Klemperer, a Jewish academic in Dresden, made the following entry in his diary on February 21: "It is a disgrace that gets worse with every day that passes. And there's not a sound from anyone. Everyone's keeping his head down." It is impossible to escape the parallels between Guenter Reimann's account of doing business under the Nazis and the "compassionate," "responsible," and regulated "capitalism" of today's U.S. economy. At least the German government was frank enough to give the right name to its system of economic control. * * * * *

Socialism is considered another form of Communism. Look it up. Communism is just a little more lethal to those forced to live and die under it's well documented tyranny. So educate yourself.

Buddy Communism doesn't work. You can paint it GREEN if you want but it is still Marxist. Not only does Communism not work but it kills people. Hitler 10 million dead. Stalin 60 million dead. Chairman Mao over 100 million dead. Don't you read history.

Spartalk you are out to lunch. You are not Listening just like TROC. When will you listen when 9 out of 10 Provinces are calling for Independence. The centralized Canada of Trudope is not working. The Independence movement is spreading because of it, soon there will be no Canada. You will be knashing your gums to yourself. Alberta is leaving TROC behind, we have tried for 40 years to peacefully accomodate TROC and it looks like we have said no more according to the poll. This is the people of the West telling TROC one last time to shape up. Bare in mind that Alberta is a Sovereign State already. We have a Prime Minister, we have a Parliament and we have a Head of State. We are already Soveriegn. You TROC have wore out your welcome. Stay home, stay away from Alberta. And for the retarded suggestion that 3,000,000 people will just suddenly up and move to Alberta, don't talk so stupid. -

Admit it you would prefer to enslave the 3,000,000 people of Alberta rather than address the Democratic Deficit. The polls in the West reflect the desire of the people of the West for Democratic change, so far we have Quebec who wants Independence, a rising tide for Independence amongst the people of Man, Sask, BC and Alberta. Albertans some 43% of them are seriously looking at Independence and that is without a strong Provincial Leadership on this issue. When will you take note and agree to Constitutional Reform when 9 of 10 Provinces are calling for Independence. Or will you continue to to deny that 3,000,000 people in Alberta have Democratic Rights. Or how many million in Man, BC, Sask, and Quebec have Democratic Rights that Trump a document written by one man and forced on us all without a vote by the taxpayer. It is not relevant anymore to quote a document written by one man and forced on all the people without a vote as justification for the continued suppression of our legitimate right to change and reform. You will lose. The facts speak for themselves. Instead of stiffling our Freedom and Liberty our desire and will for Independence is growing year by year and it is spreading now through the West. Wake up and face reality. If TROC will not give us our Rights as Free Men and Women we will take those Rights ourselves. That is not Tyranny what you are saying by calling us terrorists is a lie and that is atyranny. The system you are propping up is a tyranny and a lie. Canada is not a Democracy, and we will have our Freedom and Liberty by UDI if necessary and that will be Justice. As TROC will not change and accept any Reform's whatsoever. -

You keep Yipping about the Constitution. Canada is a Confederation. Look up the word Confederation, not a Federation. In a CON federation each of the Provinces are Sovereign with great Independence. The BNA Act, is a Statute of a foreign country telling a hand picked Governor General how to manage a colony. That is all it is, no Canadian taxpayer or voter ever at anytime in the history of the Confederation of Canada every agreed to any constitutional deal by voting for it, as for the Charter that was written by Chretien for Trudeau and forced on the people without a vote as well. In most Democracies the people decide by a direct vote on such matters, in fact it is part of the UN charter that people should vote for their constitutions. That never happened in Canada. How can a country Canada, tell 3,000,000 people Alberta what we can and cannot do. Especially when that country is not a Democracy. In Canada today, you have one man put up by his Party the Liberals, who was elected by only 30,000 voters, who then proceeds to Appoint the Head of State for 30,000,000 people. This same man elected by 30,000 voters then appints all the Senators and all his friends and supporters as Senators for the 30,000,000, He appoints have of the political system. This same man then appoints all the judges accross the whole land for the 30,000,000 people. He appoints the Heads of State of all the Provinces. And you think we have a moral obligation to maintain that system. We don't even have equal representation in the whipped and chained House of Parliament. The MP's are not allowed to vote freely for the people who elected them, they must also obey this man elected by 30,000 to speak for 30,000,000 people. No if we decide to go nothing you can say or do will change that. And when the rest of the world starts to release what a corrupt and crooked system Canada has they will be amazed as well. For decades Albertans have been asking for Democratic change and TROC finds that amusing. We in Alberta even went to great expense to express our Democratic wish and Right as free people to elect our own Senators and we eelected then with more votes than the crook in Ottawa ever got, and still we are ignored. TROC needs to wake up fast. I see many comments about what will happen to Alberta we will be fine. But that begs the question if you are so concerned why are you not fighting to get Democratic Reform in this country. If you really want to keep this country, this Confederation together what are you doing to demand Democratic Reform in Canada. Besides bitching at those that want reforms or we will form our own country. Be it Quebec, Alberta, BC, Sask, or Manitoba. TROC is causing the destruction of Confederation by their resistance to Democratic Reform and Transparent Government. -

Here is the complete link for the Poll, with acknowledgement to Kevin Steele and The Western Standard. http://www.westernstandard.ca/website/inde...&article_id=928 How can any one call some 3,000,000 people terrorist for doing what the Liberal Party of Canabis has put into the Consitutution of Canada. It is called the Clarity Act. Even if we did not use the Clarity Act and went UDI after a democratic referendum, there is nothing that TROC can do except find a new sugar daddy to pay the socialist bills. TROC is in big trouble. This poll shows that 36% of the voters in Man. Sask. Ab. and BC as a group want to separate. Then it breaks it down by Province and Albertans some 43% of them want out. That is as high as it has every been in Quebec at its peak. And what is even more significant is that the www.separationpartyofalberta.com only just became a legal party in Alberta last June 9th 2004. So without a strong official presence unlike Quebec we have this strong move towards Independence. Before TROC trots out their lame threats and I'm going to tell my Mommy on you childishness. Maybe you should sit down and ask yourself what has happened. You now have 5 Provinces in Canada that have a strong interest in Independence and 2 Provinces that will likely carry out that threat if you don't start listening to the calls for fairness and Democratic Rights. It is all up to TROC too listen it will be our Right and Sacred Duty to our families here in Alberta to do what is Right for us. The TROC does not own Alberta or Albertans like chattels we are a Proud and very Liberty loving people and TROC is crossing the line. The country was never designed to be run from the centre like Trudeau the Commie Ass Kisser wanted. It is over I guess if you don't listen Alberta will be gone for sure and very soon. -

I think maybe we are just more aware of the Jihadi's work since 9/11, they have been busy committing murder of the infidels for 1400 years. Could you also link the butchery in the Sudan to Bush as well. Can you link the butchery before Iraq to Bush as well?
-
Maybe Bush just wanted to try and end Islamic Terror that seems to be the only thing that Moslems have done for the last 1400 years before Bush. This list, of over 2600 terrorist attacks committed by Muslims since 9/11/01 (a rate of about two per day), is incomplete because not all attacks were picked up by international news sources, even those involving multiple loss of life. We included an attack if it were committed by Muslims in the name of Islam, and usually only if loss of life occurred (with a handful of exceptions where there were a very large number of injuries). In several cases, the victims are undercounted because deaths from trauma caused by the Islamists may occur in latter days, despite the best efforts of medical personnel to keep the victims alive. We usually avoided including acts occurring in combat situations, such as the recent action in Iraq, unless they involved particularly heinous terrorist tactics. Unprovoked sniper, drive-by or roadside bombing attacks on military personnel serving normal police duties are sometimes included when available. Unfortunately this list of Muslim terrorist attacks barely scratches the surface of atrocities committed in the name of Islam that occur world-wide each day. Only a handful of cases from the country of Sudan were included, for example, even though the Muslim government has killed nearly two million Christians and other non-Muslim black Africans in the last two decades. Sudan, like other Islamic Republics, strictly controls access to areas where people have cause for complaint. The human toll has been horrific, with Jihad fighters using rape, torture and slavery to decimate the black African people. The overall magnitude of the violence, of which this Web site hopes to educate, is such that it is nearly impossible to find all incidents of Islamic terror. When doing research over the past year, it was quite typical to come across accounts of massacres from news sources which also mentioned that several hundred other people had lost their lives in the violence over a period of time. Yet supporting news reports could not be found (over the Internet) to provide the basic information for including these casualties. It is not that they didn't occur, just that they were occurring too often. Go back to the List of Islamic Terrorist Attacks

Alberta's future is very bright indeed compared to what is going to happen to the bloated unionized manufacturing of Ontario and Quebec as China and India ramp up production. Just read some 140,000 Quebec and Ontario textile workers are toast due to China's 700 million slave labourers at .03 cents an hour. Good luck on your own.
