  1. Well I don't particularly like Chretien or Paul Martin but the alternative of Harper or many Conservative ideas will be enough to make me vote Liberal.
  2. After the Mulroney conservatives; you should consider yourself lucky to get anyone voted in as a conservative. The Liberals got the edge in the last election because of Harper's desire to join the USA in Iraq plus his wish to dismantle our health care system, True enough some provinces are sneakily allowing a two tiered system to exist. Harper's lying claims that he agreed with the decision not to go into Iraq alongside the USA come election time was dumb and insult the intelligence of anyone old enough to vote and those too closed minded to care,
  3. mmmhmmm and all OJ"s lawyers thought he really was innocent
  4. Speak for yourself; most of us are aware of her/his duties
  5. Free trade has not done Canadian workers any favours. The agreement Mulroney made with the USA just sold off Canadian resources and any control we had. Mulroney was the worst without exception.
  6. That does not explain the 2 TWO same subject threads does it?
  7. Digby; not every thread is about your overly federally assisted fishing industry. It is about time the east coast fishery either became self sufficient or quit.
  8. It is the Conservative way to sell out things much like they wish to do with our healthcare. The wharf was privatized
  9. I wish you would return to the subject of this thread re: Conservative corruption.
  10. This conservative supporter goes past that and right into the fantasy realm.
  11. Why would we bother. Obviously just something you have made up. Your name and same misspelling of wharf.
  12. This thread is supposed to be about the Conservative fraud. Sure a lot of conservatives not addressing the issue just turning the thread off course. Must be something beyond their denial when they do such. hmmmm
  13. At least with a driver's license ; she is tested to see if she has the ability to handle the situation. Nude pictures in a magazine is much safer than those being distributed on the internet. Parents are always looking for children who have been lured away by a internet contact. Males and females. Some people at 16 are much more mature than others. As for the age of consent; that should be raised; especially if the partner is much older.
  14. Nonsense; don't read something that far fetched into others posts. There is a big stretch there.
  15. You are the one who has gone too far. Looking at naked girls is a far cry from being a pedophile. Otherwise 99% of all men would be considered pedophiles. My thoughts are that wageslave is probably not much older than the girl in question if he thinks she is old enough to make such foolish decisions that can be utilized by those who are pedophiles and which happens much too often. Don't let your imagination run away with you or put words or meanings in my posts that definitely were not there nor suggested. We are not even talking about porn; so that was quite a stretch of my comments.
  16. It suggested no such thing. I just do not think a young girl should be encouraged to show off her body on the internet. Don't let your imaginations run away with you.
  17. Not very likely, according to the NDP and Conservatives. It would be a dumb move when there is nothing concrete to work with.
  18. That is thoroughly irresponsible fantasy; nothing of the kind is indicated. There is not one concrete piece of real evidence of anything even remotely close to such a scenario. keep it realistic eh
  19. Let's not exaggerate, shall we. Raw bigotry for saying many Lawyers are there to make as much money as they can in a situation. Especially down in the USA where people and lawyers are sue crazy. Suing when someone burns themselves with coffee while driving was one of the most ridiculous but made the lawyer and his dumb client losts of money.
  20. News 1130; apparently not too much; only the possibility that "might" tie some Liberals involved to corruption in the matter. Much ado about nothing until something more concrete is reported. I think we have all presumed some Liberal MPs had dirty hands rather than just stupidity. Time will tell.
  21. Why is this subject being repeated in two threads with NO real information. Just dumb remours from Republican/Conservative rumour mills
  22. Just a Republican/ Conservative rumour mill with no real information.
  23. Just foolish rumours until someone has something to report.
  24. Nope; not in BC where our provincial Liberal government are right wing conservatives. Digby back up your story. A liberal supporter is not the resposibility of the Liberal party. Anyone is free to support whichever party he chooses. Your story is a little too vague.
  25. Oh, name one. Certainly not Australia that followed the USA into Iraq. As one of your countrymen visiting here said: It was for the "money mate" to accomodate the Yanks.
