I came across these random thoughts at Rightwing News tonight and I thought a few of them might make for some good discussion: I agree. I don't think McCain is as popular with the Republican base as the MSM portrays him. I'd be interested in hearing ModerateameriCain's (and others) take on this. Exactly. That is one of the big differences between righties and lefties. Rightwingers tend to be more individualist while leftwingers tend to be more lockstep. Gurrrrate News! I wouldn't exactly say Sistani is "ripping" radical Jihadists, but I agree with the first half of your sentence. To be fair, Sistani seems to be a reasonable guy. I suppose...but I'm not really sure I agree with this. I have seen these cartoons; they aren't a major deal--perhaps the one with Mohammed having a bomb for a turban was mean-spirited--but overall they weren't a huge deal. It's not like it was a crucifix dipped in urine ("art"), or a Madonna splattered with elephant sh*t ("art"). Christians aren't breaking into Muslim homes looking to kidnap them as revenge for the Mohammed Cartoons. Lighten up Muslims. The left demonizes Christians far worse than these cartoons. I agree somewhat. Although I think Hillary is stronger than the above quote, I also feel she is no shoe-in to win the 2008 Democrat nomination. Cripes, these people elected a radical like Howard Dean to lead the DNC. "Progressive liberals" have a lot of influence in today's Democrat Party and they dislike Hillary for pretending to be centre-left--instead of being an angry hate-filled "progressive liberal". Additionally, Hillary has a lot of negatives. The right is licking its chops in anticipation of getting to rip her. Or, in Kerry's case, they do another flip-flop. UPDATE: US jobless rate drops to 4.7%. Employers added about 193,000 jobs, which was, incredibly, below the expectation of about 250,000 jobs. Wow! The Americans are very confident in their economy; the expected number of jobs created per month to maintain a healthy economy is about 150,000. President Bush learned well from Ronald Reagan: Low business and personal taxes = healthy economy = more revenue for the govt.

My Goodness, the world hasn't come to an end!
Montgomery Burns replied to JMH's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Oh Newbie. You just don't get it. We are not collectivists. Us rightwingers DO sometimes argue amongst ourselves; we are usually individualists, no lockstepping. Eg, Ann Coulter: A list of favorite rightwing authors/columinsts will have Ann Coulter in the Top 10. However, a list of least favorite rightwing authors/columinsts will also have Ann Coulter in the Top 10. The right is partisan like everybody else, but not as nearly partisan as the left. I bet if Bush found a cure for cancer, you would still attack him....even call him a neocon, even though most of you have no clue what a neoconservative is...and no, it is not code for Jew. -
Iraq's WMD Secreted in Syria
Montgomery Burns replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I don't know if I can believe this. The left has repeatedly insisted that Saddam had no WMD. The US intelligence agencies, the French, the Germans, the Russians, Israelis, Hans Blix and the UN ((UNSCOM and IAEA) were zapped by Karl Rove's Evil Mind Control Gun when they issued a report 2 weeks before Operation Iraqi Freedom saying that numerous WMD had not been accounted for. I'm sure CBS's "Lucy Ramirez" issued that UN report dated March 6, 2003. It doesn't even make sense! Who in their right mind would think that giving a dictator a years notice that you are going to invade would make said dictator move his WMD to another area? I know these cops in town that announced to a drug dealer that they were going to raid his house in a year. Surprisingly when they did raid his house a year later, the drugs were gone. That's all the proof I need that this drug dealer didn't ever deal drugs. Never! I ALWAYS take the word of drug dealers over law-abiding fascist cops Sure, UNSCOM inspector Bill Tierney speculated last November that they had been moved to Syria as well--but I think he is a neocon. Sure, Democrat Senator Jay Rockefeller’s told Syria back in January of 2002, when he visited, that he believed President Bush had already made up his mind to invade Iraq. But Rockefeller is a Democrat, so he was doing his gosh-darnded best to help the US. Sure, Israel's top general, Moshe Yaalon, said that Iraq had moved its WMD to Syria, but he is a Joooo, so he does not count--at least that is what my leftie friends tell me. Plus, this Iraqi General is a Christian. There ya go. He ain't a gay activist, so you can't trust him. I am anxiously looking forward to this story that the MSM will ignore. -
Iraq's WMD Secreted in Syria
Montgomery Burns replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The New York Sun? I would think by now that the USA had learned its lesson regarding exiles and truth. The two are not compatible! Well, if it isn't the NY Times (who will, of course, ignore this story--all their reporters are still busy investigating whether Bush missed a physical 35 years ago in the TANG) reporting this, then it just isn't credible! -
I guess I should have used CBS (of fake memos infamy) or the NY Times (of bogus 380 tons of weapons of mass, er I mean "medium" destruction that disappeared right under the very nose of those dumb US military personnel) infamy. Or perhaps the "Heil Harper" CBC? BBC, Guardian, Independent?

Arrghh! I should have checked the videotape before posting. They now have a different videotape than they did yesterday. Oh well. You will have to make do with the article.

I think one of the big stories of this election was Alberta's utter rejection of leftist policies. The province that has been governed by conservatives throughout most of its entire history, the province that champions hard work, has no PST, has the highest Basic Personal Amount (about $6000 more than the other provinces), has the lowest minimum wage in the country, a flat--no discrimination--provincial tax, has a 4% unemployment rate, etc, rejected leftistism. If a double-digit minimum wage and a bloated bureaucracy of rude obnoxious public sector workers in a monopoly--no competion--situation...isn't a testament to economic growth.... Creating over 3 times more jobs in the private Liquor sector with far more variety for its customers than the public sector.... And the left did its best in large inner cities with ghettos of grinding brutal poverty that is a testament to leftist policies.... Are Albertans just a bunch of dumb rednecked cowboys?

Harper's Foreign Policy ?
Montgomery Burns replied to Concerned's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Probably the only thing that would scare me about Harper's foreign policy is if he gave up our sovereignty to the loathsome international criminal organization called the UN. -
The Globe and mail right or left wing?
Montgomery Burns replied to compaq905's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I am open to most views in this world, but you would do this forum a favor by leaving. Go back to rense.com or whereever the hell you came from. You are a disgusting person that makes no attempt to engage in reasonable debate. You are championing the cause of an anti-semitic radical linguistics professor whose knowledge of history is not only devious, but openly dishonest. Chomsky has called the US "worse than Nazi Germany" and has said: "The so-called War on Terror is pure hypocrisy, virtually without exception". Chomsky's defense of Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge and his support of holocaust revisionism is utterly repulsive! He travelled to North Vietnam and said that the Communists "heroism revealed the capabilities of the human spirit and human will". He tried to minimize Pol Pot's genocide of 2 million people as a "few thousand" and tried to blame it on the failure of the rice crop. Even as late as 1988, when the skulls were piled too high to ignore any longer, Chomsky insisted that whatever had happened in Cambodia, the US (of course!) was to blame. In 1967 Chomsky wrote that America "needed a kind of denazification." Be still Yaro, I know that word denazification makes your cold heart go a flutter. Chomsky has attacked every president from Wilson to GW Bush as the front men in "four year dictatorships" by a ruling elite and "they've all been either outright war criminals or involved in serious war crimes." Even Democrats. Nobody is safe from the wrath of this America-hater. Remember his rage when the Berlin Wall came down, communism collapsed, and the USSR disintegrated? I do. Chomsky sees Israel as a terror state "with points of similarity" to the Third Reich. Remember Chomsky's support of the French hatemonger named Robert Faurisson, the nasty anti-Semite who was fired by the University of Lyon for his hate-filled screeds? I do. On September 12, while bodies were still being pulled out of the rubble of the Twin Towers, Chomsky was charging that the US military response against the terrorists would immediately lead to a "silent genocide" that would cause the wintertime starvation of 3-4 million Afghanis. Although you will likely get an "Amen" from CC Girl, I think the rest of the forum would like you to piss off and go back to Rense.com. -

Montgomery Burns replied to JMH's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
If you would have actually read the comments to the article instead of just throwing your little tantrum you would have seen that there was quite the negative reaction to the article. Completely, and 100% agreed. Shoop, I admit that Ann Coulter is a bomb-thrower, but that is why I like her. I like the fact that someone on my side is willing to get as down and dirty as the Democrats are. I'm tired of the right constantly taking the high road and letting the left walk all over them. However, if you step back and look at what Coulter writes, she is usually dead-on. FTA does nothing but insult conservatives. Also, I find it odd that you claim to be centre-right, but attack one of the most popular conservative writers, Mark Steyn, who is so respected that even the partisan media watchdog (Media Matters) can only come up with one complaint against Steyn--who pumps out an article about every 2nd day. You previously linked to a Islamic terrorist sympathizing website to prove that Steyn was "bad". You previously told me not to link to the Western Standard, a conservative website in Western Canada. And now you link to a 3 page article mocking Coulter's sex life to prove how bad she is. And you tell me to chill? -
Al Gore getting loonier by the day
Montgomery Burns replied to Montgomery Burns's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Shucks Newbie. In my humble opinion, I think it is no contest. -
Previously--on this forum--I have linked to an article in a Arab newspaper (the liberal MSM refused to report this) of George Galloway admitting that the "progressives" were on the side of the Jihadists in their fight to destroy America. Duh. Like any one with common sense didn't know that. Progressive liberals have done everything in their power to prop up the Hussein Regime and make sure those darned brown-skinned Iraqis continue to live a life of brutal tyranny. After all, those subhuman Iraqis are not capable or deserving to live in a democracy! Here's round 2--Gorgeous George and Uday Hussein falling all over themselves complimenting each other on tape.

Hamas win Palestinian elections
Montgomery Burns replied to Black Dog's topic in The Rest of the World
Wow. The lefties are having orgasmic delights at the results of a terrorist organization winning elections (we have newfound hope!) in the Terrortories. It appears that they can't wait for Hamas to ramp up the killing of those neocon Joooish women and children in that gol-durned *spit* democracy *spit* called Israel. Good ole BD and his "militants". I think the UK's leftwing Guardian sums up the moral bankruptcy of the left perfectly here: :angry:Btw, does anyone know if Hitler won? And to top it off, the worst US President of the 20th Century (worst US President ever?) Jimmy Carter is calling for more funding of this death cult of displaced Arabs. YUCK! -
Your not allowed to kill your kids?
Montgomery Burns replied to geoffrey's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Wrong. Once you get to the point of hopelessness to kill yourself, you are convinced your death will be a relief from all the pain and suffering, whether mental or physical. Suicide is not selfish if you are the one dying. What right do we have to force people to live with pain? This needs to be debated and we need to enact legislation so there are safeguards in place. I don't think you are a fool. But then, what's my own humble opinion against thousands of others? Unless you have "been there" yourself, you will not understand why these things happen. I have been...I have been there. -
Lock up the women!
Montgomery Burns replied to Montgomery Burns's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
Slavik44: How thick can you be? The women want to have sex with him? I don't recall Paula Jones or Juanita Broderick saying that. I guess forcing exposing and forcing yourself on women is "consensual" in your world. Pathetic and disgusting. Nixon was NOT impeached, although it is a near certainty he would have been. In 1974, the House Judiciary committee voted 3 articles of impeachment. One accused Nixon of obstruction of justice. Another accused him of abuse of power. The third charged him with contempt of Congress for defying the committee’s requests to produce documents. Nixon resigned the presidency before the whole House voted on the articles. I'm not a Republican or a Democrat, either. But rank partisans like yourself defend Clinton for committing perjury and obstructing justice, because "it was only a blowjob". I will apologize to you when you can find one post on this forum where I have disapraged the troops. Would you like me to drop some links showing what the left thinks of the US troops? Okay, you are starting to piss me off. I said no such thing; you are lying again. The fact is that Clinton got 43.3% of the popular vote in 1992, while Bush Sr got 37.7% and Perot got 19%. Although one cannot claim that Perot's 19% were all rightwing votes, it is very reasonable to claim that he split the right and cost Bush Sr the election. No Perot; no Clinton presidency in 1992. You can't possibly be so ignorant of US history. If there was no Perot, the Democrats would likely have lost the last 7 elections in a row. Again, you are lying. I said no such thing. Clinton deserved to win in 1996, no doubt. However, the fact remains that Clinton was not the beloved popular president (a la Reagan) like the MSM tries to portary him. He won by the skin of his nose. And if your beloved Al Gore had been able to win his own state, he would have been President in 2000. But his own state rejected him. I find that telling. Even if I had a $100,000, I would not give it to such a failure of a man like Bill Clinton. I'm not even going to see him in Saskatoon. I'm going to spend my money on the upcoming Aerosmith/Cheap Trick concert. I believe that--from your previous postings on this site. I believe that. I don't believe that. Quite trying to bamboozle us. The general public is not as stupid as you think we are. -

Yaro, your message board incompetence is an inspiration to botched lobotomy patients everywhere. Rumor has it that you are almost incomprehensible in person (as revealed by your desperate urge to babble nonsensically on message boards.) No doubt, this rumor is true. I suppose I should have some sympathy for your handicap. You are obviously paralyzed from the neck up. Generally, there is nothing wrong with having nothing worthwhile to say --unless you insist on saying it. Well, you're certainly thoughtless; I just wish that you were keyboardless, too. You are about as entertaining as a child's inflatable punching toy. You bop it, it springs back, you bop it again and you forget it ever existed. It slowly deflates in an unused corner, then one day you throw it away. You have the warm personal charm of a millipede and about as much class as a bucket of mucous lodged on top of a dumpster in a Blue Light district of Amsterdam. Please do not light up a cigarette as I fear that the methane gas where your head resides will cause a massive explosion. In the future, if you have something to say, just shut up. -

FTA Lawyer: That's the same thing that the CBC had on their news the other day--it was a "mistake", they said. I sent an email to their ombudsman. It bears reapeating: How in the hell can you take the initiative in creating something that was already created and being used by the time he was elected to Congress? Or what about his claim that he and Tipper were the inspiration for the Love Story movie? Or his claim--at a speech hosted by Moveon.org (of Bush=Hitler infamy) about Bush's digital brownshirts? Damn those rightwing bloggers for daring to question the lies of the leftwing MSM! Or how about when he said about Bush, "A zebra does not change its spots."
