  1. No... They said children of gay parents show no sign of developmental dysfunction, and that theres no reason to descriminate between a gay couple and a hetero couple in terms of raising children. You didnt even READ any of the quotes. Maybe when you pull a brazen assumption like "Every psychologis on earth thinks ____" out of your ass you should be prepared to back it up? Yes almost all them addressed it and the big green elephant is entirely a figment of your imagination. ROFLMAO. So now the standard is "being a little wistful"???? No sorry... thats not gonna cut it. The standard is whether or not theres a significant different between gay and straight relationships in their capacity to raise well adjusted, happy, and well developed child, and you havent shown one iota of evidence that there is. I dont mean faith in terms of "church". I mean it in terms of you having a believe that no evidence exists to support.
  2. Sorry but you cant aquire new territoy through war legally through war... regardless of whether or nots its defensive. Every single settlement Israel has built on land it down own is expansion end of story. And none of your attempts to redefine the word or hop from position to position with the frequence of a cheap hamm radio are going to change that. Also your assertion itself that the war was defensive is debatable anyways. Face it... you cant even fuckin read. Once again you assume that because Im critical of some Israeli actions Im a racist, terrorist supporters and jew hater. But once again these hollow accusations are nothing more than the confused ramlings of an ignorant child. I wouldnt even be alive if Israel lost that war you pathetic sycophant. Congratulations on your umteenth attemp to change the subject and your penchant for strawmen and intellectual dishonesty.
  3. Whos "we"? You got a mouse in your pocket? And its not just a matter of it being bloody. If things flashed up there you would have one of the bloodiest days in human history. Theres more than 10 million people in range of two of the largest concentrations of artillary in the world today. Its not unreasonable to think that hundreds of thousands or even a million people might die in the first few hours. Good luck gettin parts for your Hyundai.
  4. Thats pretty decent! A third distinct opinion on the same suject in a single day! 1. Israel isnt expansionist. 2. So what! Poland did it too! and now... 3. Expansion is justified based on your assertion that it was a defensive war. HAT TRICK!
  5. Numbers seem to add up fine for me... 700 million in fraud, no bid contracts, political awards etc PLUS 300 in real market value costs = ONE BILLION.
  6. Reunify WHAT exactly? Two piles of smouldering rubble?
  7. Those objectives dont even come CLOSE to justifying the means. Which is why there wont be any war. Seoul is in range of North Korean artillary... Theres 600 170mm Koksan guns and more than 300 multiple luanch rocket launchers ready to launch a mixture of shells and chemical weapons, and probably about 1000 scuds capable of diliverying chemical weapons at various locations around SK. Seoul will likely be hit with hundreds of thousands of rounds from these weapons within the first hour of combat alone. Then you have the NK army about 80% of which is stationed along the DMZ that has the capacity to launch about five hundred thousand artillary shells PER HOUR for the first few hours of combat. Not to mention about 100 no-dongs which would rain down on Japan. And of course the possibility that NK has operable nuclear weapons. Nobody is going to risk that over a sunk ship. SK will talk tough and push for some kind of sanctions but if faced with open war they will balk REAL fast.
  8. Who knows. But the rules we are operating under now have only been in place since the Geneva Convention so I dont really see how that matters anyways. But in any case two wrongs dont make a right. Whatever happened in the examples you mention doesnt justify international law being ignored now. Anyhow... you should have a good hard look at that map, because its illustrates Israels intentions rather nicely. That wall represents some of the expansionism you claim isnt happening. See the places where it juts deep into Palestinian territory? Those are major points on the mountain aquifier... they designed the wall to facilitate the theft of water resources. First you argue that Israel isnt "expansionist"... but then when its pointed out to you that Israel is building a permanent wall smack dab in the middle of someones land that effectively annexes a shitload of land and resources you say "so what if Israel is stealing that land, poland did the same thing!". So which is it? Are you sticking to your claim that Israel isnt expansionist? Or are you justifying Israeli expansionism because Poland did it too?
  9. Well these things never start out as heists specifically. Thats what they turn into... My guess is that when all is said and done there will all kinds of no bid conracts and so on, and a lot of government lobbying companies will make money. I hope Im wrong though!
  10. Problem is the wall isnt on Israels legal border, it represents a massive land (and more importantly water) grab. The green line on that map is the legal border and the blue line is the wall. Must need better surveyors! (or theyre trying to steal land)
  11. My guess is that most of the money will wind as profit in the pockets of various government lobbying private entities. These big government funded security operations are a profiteers wet dream.
  12. The US accounts for less than 10% of oil production and has less than 2.2% of proven oil reserves. US domestic production has little impact on global prices.
  13. Yup. Not only that but if theres any kind of peacefull settlement the militants lose their soapbox, just like the hawks in Israel would. This babies going to the distance!!!... Im thinking they still be fighting over that shitty piece of realestate for hundreds of years to come. The only way it could be resolved in our lifetime is if there was some sort of "adult" to intervene and force both the retarded children to share their sandbox and play nice... Force each side onto the own side of the green line then put a DMZ between them with about a trillion land mines in it. Aint gonna happen though.
  14. Its actually pretty smart. If the violence ends then there would be huge pressure from the International community to withdraw from the occupied territories and re-implement the partition plan. Israel would lose about 1/2 its fresh water supply if they did that, not to mention the nice little buffer they picked up between Syria and Lake Tyberius. Israel is actually playing this whole thing pretty smart. Every decade this drags out the less likely it is that they will be forced to give up the occupied territories and the resources on them. You gotta realize Israel literally depends on maintaining control of the west bank for their survival.
  15. Ah yes... because I dont jump through your idiotic hoops in your hopeless attempt to justify your assertion that building towns and drilling wells in an occupied territory and removing resources from it isnt expansionism, I must not know about the "basic events" For sure! Because if I point to some of Israels actions as being expansionist and destroy your moronic statements to the contrary I MUST HATE JEWS The ONLY reason youre accusing me of being a racist is because youre gutless, and wont back up the bogus assertion of yours that I already destroyed. You didnt even try. Its your way of changing the subject so that you dont look stupid, and a futile attempt to grasp for the last piece of available flotation before youre pulled under by the currents in your own river of horseshit. But Im no racist sir, and that load of fetid goatshit wont get you any further than your other non-arguments.
  16. This is bogus on quite a few different levels. First of all... you dont really need to be drilling. Domestic US production is tiny in a global oil market and has almost no effect on prices. All it contributes is money for oil companies. There no oil shortage with or without US production. Secondly your claim that environmentalists pushed oil companies offshore is utterly hilarious. Environmentalists are oppose to offshore drilling because of this exact kind of risk, and they were demanding that oil companies develope the sixty million acres worth of land based oil leases they ALREADY HAVE before they were given any offshore permits.
  17. Who said anything about Hamas and what does that have to do with Israels building of farms and settlements and drilling of wells in the occupied terrority and youre ridiculous assertion thats not expansionism? No.
  18. Why doesnt the G20 pay the bills for their own fuckin meeting? Why would we pay more than 1/20th?
  19. I would agree with most of what you said. Remember... I didnt come on here claiming wind farms are some kind of panacea. I didnt even defend them... I noticed someone pulling fake information from deep within their rectal cavity and asked for a source. Nothing more. As for the distributed grid and the other components of the next energy age I think it will take decades to build all that shit, and lots of capital investment. But that seems like an even better reason to start now.
  20. No its not a fabrication. Israel has almost twice the land it started out with as a result of military occupation. Not to mention about 1/2 its pottable drinking water comes from the occupied territories. If occupying land and using the resources on it isnt expansionism then mind telling me what the fuck is? That has nothing to do with me shit-canning your nonsense about expansionism. I could care less who lives there, but my take on it would be that illegal settlements and their occupants should be removed. Beyond that it would be illegal and wrong for a hypothetical palestinian state to deport inhabitants based on race or religion. I guess thats up to the palestinian state in waiting. Certainly all the settlers that have crossed over from Israel after the partition plan are garden variety illegal immigrants, much like the ten million mexical illegals in the US. In both cases I would say its up to the people and their government to decide on a policy. I would say that any settlers who were in the area before 1947 and their decendants should definately not be forced out. I definately wont hold my breath for EITHER of those gangs of biblically motivated twits to dot he right thing though.
  21. The experts know the answer to that. Its called the Distributed Grid. You dont rely on one source of power you have a diverse array of different types of generating capacity. A simple example would be a wind farm coupled with a hyrdoelectic facility. When its windy the hyrdo facility can be building up head in its resevoir. When its not windy that facility is generating to pick up the slack. The result is that both facilities are well utilized and theres more net power.
  22. Ah yes, the good old "Everyone knows that!" fallacy. How about provide real evidence for your assertion or admit you're just guessing? If seems like you guys figure that repeating something over and over again make it true, but you refuse to provide any evidence at all. If hetero parents are better then you should easily be able to provide a link to a credible study that shows this. But from what I can tell theres nothing to support this. The people who actually study this subject claim that children of same sex parents show no development disfunction at all whe compared to children of heterosexual parents. Ill ask you guys now for about the fourth time... do you have any real evidence at all that shows children are significantly better off with heterosexual parents than same sex ones?
  23. To answer your question you need to look at what deflation and inflation really are. Theyre based on the size of your own economy. You either dont have enough government backed currency for the ammount of goods in the market place, or you have too much government backed currency for the ammount of goods. Ideally you want to keep the purchase power of the dollar stable against a diverse basket of goods and services in your own economy. If you dont do this, then the currency because useless as tender for deals and contracts (especially long term ones) and you discourage economic activity. International deals on the other hand should be denominated in the most stable units possible, and often wont be based on your own currency anyways. So definately domestic stability is whats important.
  24. How about people backing up the claims they make on here, instead of pulling fake data out of their asses? Wind energy it not 5X as expensive as conventional power. Its not even 2 times as expensive. And the cost of wind energy is coming down while the cost of conventional energy is for the most part going up.
