  1. There you go. It's nice to see that you never get out of character. Anything or anyone who speaks against Israel's policy and agenda is a Nazi!
  2. What I find fascinating is the group of diehards who defend the war machine when there is no gain for them. They do their dirty work without any benefits for themselves. They're basically slaves to these big businesses who have created an alternate universe for the sheep who will continue to, loudly, defend their agenda.
  3. Nazi.Hamas.Terrorist.Hezbollah.GrandMufti.Palestinians. Why don't you just paste that line from now on and save yourself from typing anything more.
  4. Swiss Muslims gain support from unexpected source - rabbis Switzerland's Muslim population received support from an unexpected source on Wednesday when an ultra-Orthodox Jewish group voiced its opposition to a campaign to ban the building of minarets, distinctive architectural features of Islamic mosques, in the country. The proposal had been put forward by the Swiss People's Party (SVP), the largest party in parliament, which said minarets were a sign of Islamization. The head of the Conference of European Rabbis, which convened this week in Moscow, issued a statement criticizing the proposed ban, saying that Europe won't defeat extreme Islam by battling freedom of religion and knocking down mosque minarets in Switzerland. Rabbi Aba Dunner made his remarks in response to the results of a referendum held earlier this week, in which 57% of Swiss voters voted in favor of the ban. "Only through unrelenting support of moderates within the Muslim community and promoting interfaith dialogue can European governments defeat the fundamentalist extreme Islam," Rabbi Dunner said. http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1132517.html
  5. You are a child.
  6. http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1131988.html The current holder of the rotating European Union presidency, Sweden, has put together a draft document calling for the division of Jerusalem between Israel and a future Palestinian state and implying that the EU would recognize a unilateral Palestinian declaration of statehood.
  7. Reasonably articulate? Like Foxnews?
  8. It's only because he calls himself Muslim, isn't it? I guess you have no problem with others who practice their right to babble on the street. Like this guy: Or this guy:
  9. What is considered leftwing now by the mainstream used to be something completely different. It's a slow process of conditioning. I think Europe's political spectrum is more accurate when describing where the parties and their policies stand. Calling the Liberal Party of Canada a leftwing party is inaccurate. If anything, they are right of centre and just like the Conservatives, are influenced heavily by big business. Hopefully Canada will resist the push by the big corporations to become a 2 party system like the U.S., where the only real policy differences between the two are a few minor social issues and lip service.
  10. You are embarrassing to read.
  11. You forgot the Palestinian blood and you are wrong about Israel being just fine without its supporters. Israel has been receiving an average of $3billion a year from the United States and has been receiving political support from both the U.S. and the U.K. Without them, Israel would not be able to be doing what it's doing today.
  12. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I will try not to lose sleep over what you think of Naomi Klein.
  13. Using your perspective, you would agree that a nuclear Iran will push Israel into discussions over their constant violation of international law and their inexcusable treatment of the Palestinians.
  14. Majority of Afghans want the gift, but not the way it's being done, which has been anything but a gift. The tactics we have implemented have brought more negatives than positives. The problem with most of us here in the West is that we have a low attention span and look at the immediate without looking at the whole picture and without considering the history of each situation. The Taliban came to power after we empowered them. You can't force freedom onto people and onto a culture. Certainly not in a complicated culture like that of Afghanistan's. Our meddling, especially with the failed tactics we've used, are not working and have not worked.
  15. It's true. Jews and Muslims lived in relative peace for many centuries. It was Zionism that turned everything upside down and kicked off the anti-semitism we see today in many Muslim countries.
  16. We're not God and we will not be able to force them this gift wrapped in weapons. Things will shape themselves in due time. The only non-destructive and productive thing we can do is to promote human rights and trade responsibly. Trading is the lifeline of the world today and it holds a lot of power. Just look at how far China has come in the past few decades.
  17. That's correct GostHacked. It has mostly been the Northern Alliance (Karzai group) who have pushed for opium production.
  18. It has everything to do with it. Majority of the European and Russian Jews that migrated to Palestine only have one connection to the land and that is that they follow Judaism. They had as much connection to the land as the Ethiopian Jews do. This is why Palestine was not the only location that was considered by Herzl, the father of Zionism. He was also considering Argentina as a location for a Jewish State.
  19. I'm an active member of http://jewishvoiceforpeace.org As far as the screen name, that's an interesting take on it. Naomi Klein is an amazing person and I agree with a lot of what she has to say, but I don't know much about Danny Glover except for his few movies.
  20. No argument in regards to our accomplishments and to our thriving. But it has been done in various societies, not just free and democratic and it has mostly been done without harming another people. Unfortunately, when it comes to Palestine, we've been mostly wrong. This is because we've elected to step on these people for our own benefit. Zionism, which started out as a good idea, took a wrong turn early in its life. Israel will not be able to sustain what's happening. Not with the population growth, the emergence of the wealthy arabs and other non-Westerners, the flow of information and the slow but noticeable change in the acknowledgment of the problem in the world community. Another driving force behind the inevitable change is the acknowledgment from the Jews around the world who are accepting that what the Israeli government is doing is wrong.
  21. Perhaps if you own up to making a mistake then you'll feel better.
  22. I made the false comment? Okay. Here is how you are lying. I'm not impressed. you: "So the Goldstone Report does not say Israel used WP illegally. Naomi does. I"m not impressed." me quoting the report: "627. Taking into account the weapons used, and in particular the use of white phosphorous in and around a hospital that the Israeli armed forces knew was not only dealing with scores of injured and wounded but also giving shelter to several hundred civilians, the Mission finds, based on all the information available to it, that in directly striking the hospital and the ambulance depot the Israeli armed forces in these circumstances violated article 18 of the Fourth Geneva Convention and violated customary international law in relation to proportionality."
  23. So you are aware of the genetic disorder that some of us Jews commonly have due to the lack of "mixing"? It's a good thing things are changing and we're finally starting to "mix it up" a little.
  24. It's good that you're taking action and trying to hold people accountable. Did you ever get around to responding to the false comment you made about what the Goldstone report had said in regards to the legality of the usage of WP by the Israeli military? I don't believe you did.
