Hello Bonam. As someone who has lived and studied in Israel for almost a decade, I can confirm that Israeli textbooks are quite controversial. I was young back then so I accepted what was in front of me and never thought twice about seeing the map of Israel covering all of Israel and the West Bank as being wrong. Before moving back to Canada, I remember there were talks about the racism in these books and some people were trying to push for a change. I'm not there now, so I don't know how much change has been implemented in the past 15 years. I am, however, curious and will look into it.
