They didn't care about the mass slaughter in China because they make money there and didn't want to offend the Chinese govenrment. Lebron James makes a fortune from endorsements and merchandise sales there and he led the 'shut up' charge against a coach who dared to offer up a tweet. Don't make it sound like its a faraway land to them. They had just come back from playing a game there.
And no, I don't much care what happens to criminals who fight with the police. Too bad, but play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

If the guy who got shot was white nobody would have ever heard of this. And Lebron James and the rest of the overpaid ball players wouldn't have paid the slightest attention if they had.
