  1. Anti means opposed. Semitic means Jews or Arabs. Or more broadly to speakers of Semitic languages. If people see it as only applying to Jews that is showing a false bias in their thinking.
  2. You are the one changing the meaning by denying that Semites and Arabs. The Dictionaries disagree with you. Semites are Arabs as well as Jews. Now are you going to claim that Marr coined the word Anti now?
  3. Sem·ite ˈsemīt/ noun noun: Semite; plural noun: Semites a member of any of the peoples who speak or spoke a Semitic language, including in particular the Jews and Arabs. Origin an·ti ˈanˌtī,ˈan(t)ē/ preposition preposition: anti 1. opposed to; against. "I'm anti the abuse of drink and the hassle that it causes" adjectiveinformal adjective: anti 1. opposed. "neither side in the debate, whether anti or pro, has offered a particularly convincing case" nouninformal noun: anti; plural noun: antis 1. a person opposed to a particular policy, activity, or idea. "a shadow army of antis who endanger your sport" Origin late 18th century (as a noun): independent usage of anti-. anti- prefix prefix: anti-; prefix: ant- opposed to; against. "antiaircraft" preventing or suppressing. "antibacterial" reversing or undoing. "anticoagulant" the opposite of. "anticlimax" Physics the opposite state of matter or of a specified particle. "antimatter" acting as a rival. "antipope" unlike the conventional form. "antihero" Origin representing Greek anti ‘against.’ Translate anti to AntiSemite means opposed to Jews AND ARABS.
  4. So you acknowledge that anti-Arab actions are Anti-Semitic. Great.
  5. The Koran was written in the language of Mohammad. If it is in English thus it isn't the Koran and that is what it is considered in Islam. In fact it is forbidden to enter Mecca or Medina the two holiest places in Islam to anyone who doesn't speak Arabic. Re: GH acknowledged earlier that a point was pertinent to the topic in this discussion. And the ultimate point remains that is 100% relevant to this topic: To be anti-Semitic is to be opposed to Semites which includes both Jews AND Arabs. Now if someone says that not all Arabs are Semites, I will point out that actually far less Jews are likely to be Semitic than Arabs are to be Arabs.
  6. The Koran of Mohammad was written in his language. If its not in that language it's not the Koran. That is what it is considered across the Islamic world. There are no considered authentic Korans outside the language of Mohammad. The Penguin Koran is not considered an authentic Koran. I'm going to also take a safe bet that no Jew considers the Torah in Japanese to be an authentic Torah either.
  7. "Lots of fake Muslims on this Earth, then." Have you even met a Muslim?
  8. " Muhammad could not read or write Arabic. Plus, during his lifetime, Islam only existed on the Arabian Peninsula. As I have already pointed out, the Quran itself says that the ONLY requirement for understanding the Quran is a 'pure heart'." Mohammad SPOKE Arabic and it was scribes that wrote it down in the Arabic of Mohammad. That is why the only authentic Koran in Islam is a Koran written in the Arab spoken by Mohammad.
  9. If it was in the Koran's own words it would be in Arabic, not in English.
  10. You can call it medieval, classical, or whatever you want. There is only one Koranic Arabic and the only way to read the Koran is to read it in the only authentic language one can read the Koran in according to Islam and that is Koranic Arabic.
  11. Every single Muslim is required to learn Koranic Arabic so that they can read the Koran. This is a requirement of followers in every sect of Islam. That is why although the Islamic world is very diverse linguistically one can still make one understood from one side to the other if one knows classical Arabic.
  12. Tell me a branch of Islam where you don't have to learn Koranic Arabic.
  13. A non sequitur Argus is something like this: "Have you spoken to Islam lately?" How is it possible to speak to Islam?
  14. And what? He allegedly recited the Koran orally to scribes.
  15. Given the fact that your comment is a non sequitur I accept you have conceded this topic to me.
  16. It wasn't an authentic Koran then according to Islam.
  17. What do you mean it has no basis in reality? If you are Islamic you must learn classical Arabic in order to learn the Koran and if you don't you are forbidden to enter Mecca or Medina.
  18. I support training the Kurds, but getting further embroiled in the America's crusade is a waste of time and counterproductive.
  19. That's totally b.s. Anti-Arabism is very alive and well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Arabism Also it should be remembered that Anti-Arabism is Anti-Semitism.
  20. All Islamic people must learn Arabic. Arabic is a Semitic language. So all Islamic people must become Semitic language speakers and they all consider themselves the sons of Shem.
  21. So what you're saying is that the most anti-Semitic people are Semites themselves? Well OK, not particularly surprised there.
  22. No the Greeks and the Semites put it in the dictionary by providing both parts of the word.
