I guess the nurse call 911 is try to help him. I have heard the standard waiting time for walk in emergency is 8-10 hours. If come by ambulance, the waiting time can be 1 hour. The doctors will not do anything until after 1 hour, otherwise, maybe some union will make trouble to the doctor because doctors and hospitals will be weak for asking more money from tax payers. Once, I went to hospital in 8pm for my 1 year old daughter, I wait till 5 in the morning when a doctor see my daughter for 5 minutes. During all night, there are just those few people waiting there include another about 1 year old kid crying all night long. I have heard exactly the same thing when I was in China. As you say, they belong to people, they protect people, who is the people, any Canadian citizen? or all Canadian citizen? Why they arrest some parents just because the parents want to educate their children in a different way. Are the parents part of people, why they don't protect them? Why do you think they are MY (or OUR) troops? Just because they spent our tax dollars? Just because we need to pay more tax dollars if they pay more lives? What is the benefit for me or us if they will win. What is the disadvantage to me or us if they will lose.

US is so civilized that they can invent so many laws to define so many of their people as criminals and ask tax payer to pay for the legal system include court, jail, lawyers. This does not makes US a safe place. Gun shootings happens not less than other countries. US is also so civilized that they are able to invent so many terminologies to label other countries and how to deal with them by threat, blackmail, IMF, WTO, and war, previous US government were more civilized than Bush gov that they can ask other countries to pay for the wars. Bush gov is only able to ask US tax payers to pay for the war. However, it is more than US itself can afford, so, the current economic crisis comes to ask the world to pay for it again. That is all meaning of civilization. The robbery in name of justice, the war in name of peace keeping. Canada want to learn it? Is Canada able to make other country to pay for its jails?

Politics is mainly dirty cheating. If a politician want to do something, like make some new law or new policy, he would use some issues and try to make media focus on that no matter it is truth or lie. He definitely can find something he can use, if there is another truth does not support his point of view, he will never use it and try to make media mute on that. Like Bush (or someones who is behind of him) wish to invade Iraq, he can make all mainstream media talk about the WMD in Iraq which is not exist.

Totally hypocritial, when the gov talk about Aboriginals, those people have to face future. When they talk about Tibet, Chinese need to respect their culture. Actually, Chinese governement did much better in protect Tibet culture. So what future aboriginals inevitably face, CAS continue rob their kids? NO HUMAN RIGHT AT ALL.

It is different, Hitler aggressively kill others first. The native people did not aggressively kill other people before the government grant some people aggressively rob their kids. Nothing is more wicked cruelty than taking kids away from their parents. The very basic human right for kids is under the care of their parents, and the very basic human right of parents is take care of their kids. This is even true for the animals in nature. People from each culture should be respected for their own education method. That is part of their culture. If the government like to change it, it should educate them, instead of just kidnap their kids and waste tax dollars and throw them into danger and let them live or die. This is actually more than a crime than anything the first nation did to their kids. In a country that there is some law to grant others take away kids from their parents when the kids do not willing to and the parents don’t willing to, anything talk about human rights in this country is totally hypocritical. Nothing can be trust before this kind of laws has been abolished.

I don`t know what is "World Social Website" and did not find it by googling it. About your comment "but in India, they can read what they want...", I would say it is impossible. For example, recently I want to read a book "The cartoon : a short history of graphic comedy and satire", I try to find it in library, and found it is only available in 2nd fl of Toronto Reference Library. That means if I don't go there, I would not be able to read it. And there are many other books that I can not reach because they are not available in Toronto. For poor people, information always expansive, if they don't have a computer, don't have an internet connection, don't have access to a library or there are just too few books in library, how can you expect "They can read what they want"? Are they live in Utopia? I am not sure if you are in a good health condition these days. Otherwise, how can you make such comment without thinking.
