you're wrong again. there is a big difference which you either don't know or you refuse to acknowledge. in greece, anyone of greek origin, is granted priority in immigration and naturalization. however, in greece, it is not only greeks that may immigrate into the country or attain citizenship. the Law of Return grants all Jews a universal right to immigrate to israel and it is virtually impossible for anyone who is not a jew or who does not have kinship ties with jews to receive israeli citizenship. again, israel's immigration and citizenship policies are discriminatory and racist. -
did you know that there was an uprising in iraq in the early 90's against saddam? you know what happened? the US allowed saddam to squash the uprising by giving it a green light to use its military. i wonder what would have happened if the uprising would have been allowed to go ahead. i wonder if these 50 thousand a year would still have been killed. what about when US sponsored and armed saddam during the 80's? you know, when iraq gassed the kurds and the iranians? i wonder what would have happened if US had not been buddies with saddam.

uhm.. what does this mean to you? any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race…or national or ethnic origin which has the purpose or effect of nullifying or impairing the recognition apparently it doesn't mean what you want it to mean. i really don't want to continue debating with someone who has a hard time accepting something so simple. marriage is a free pass if you are jewish. actually, being jewish is a free pass. israel's immigration and citizenship laws are racist. -

don't be ridiculous. you still haven't been able to explain the law of return which allows only jews to immigrate and receive automatic israeli citizenship. now onto the other ridiculous... -
you seem to be giving credit to W for anything you want like what has happened in iran. i ate too many burgers the other day and not enough greens. it made my poop really hard and finally, after 2 days, i finally pooped! thanx W!

like being able to vote is an indication on how free you are. i think someone mentioned that iraq has become 1000 better since the invasion by the US. must be another american living in america land.

lets find out who is wrong: “racial discrimination” applies to “any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race…or national or ethnic origin which has the purpose or effect of nullifying or impairing the recognition, enjoyment or exercise, on an equal footing, of human rights and fundamental freedoms….” this is the definition by the UN which is accepted by all countries who are a signatory to the UN, including israel. israel also has a definition: in 1977 racism was defined as "persecution, humiliation, demeaning, displaying animosity, hostility, violence or strife towards a population group or parts of such a group, all on the basis of skin color or membership in a racial or ethnic-national grouping." can we agree now what the definition of racism is or do you only accept your own special definition? sure. fine. even discrimination based on ethnicity is considered racism. look at the meaning above. unless you reject israel and UN's definitions. eh? it's not racist because it is not anyone's right to immigrate? what kind of a strange logic is that? a country is free to choose its racist laws. kind of like israel and saudi arabia. besides a few racist arab states, i don't know of any countries that have a "this ethnicity only" policy. certainly none of the western countries. not sure where you come up with these things. israel's racist laws are not targeted only to foreigners, they also apply to some of its own citizens. in 2003, the israeli government tabled a bill to amend the Israeli Citizenship Law in a manner that would deny arabs who are israeli citizens and have married palestinian residents of the occupied territories the right to live in israel with their spouses and children. if that is not discrimination and racism against a specific group, (who happen to be israeli citizens), i don't know what is. -

i'm repeating what israel's policies are. the policies are racist because they give special treatments to a group with a specific religious background. if their policies do not give special treatment to jews, then i would be wrong. -
i'm not sure what your experience is with super glue and anuses, but the point here is that life is a lot shittier in iraq now than it was under saddam.

uhm. less fear? the shi'a majority, in general, is not a big fan of homosexuals. they also don't like the sunni's or the kurds or the turks or anyone else who is not shi'a.

the only way the powers (guardian council and revolutionary guards) will feel threatened is if their bank accounts are hit. dubai has, so far, cooperated with monitoring and freezing bank accounts of al quaeda members. they will do the same with these guys. it will be easier since arab countries do not really have a good relationship with persians. the money these people make through oil and manufacturing keeps them in power. they make sure to give MP's and military commanders a share of the profits in order to keep them in line. business and trade keeps the world going and keeps these selfish men in power. cut off their blood supply and their power will slowly diminish. hopefully the powers in the west don't have too many business dealings with these guys like they do with the saudi and egyptian dictatorships.

lol. are you giving out free W. credits? i understand that for the first time in a decade, the rate of AIDS has decreased in many african countries. thanx W! maybe someone should stop watching a little less foxnews and read a little more about the region and iran before making such nonsensical remarks.

the outcome has left 150,000 people dead and many more whose lives have been ruined. not to mention the situation for homosexuals and other minorities, who actually lived without fear during the saddam years but now they're being discriminated against.

not really. you can be a russian jew with no ties to israel and still get the special privilege. if you're a russian christian, you won't get the same privilege. stop trying to side-step the obvious. most of the other countries do not give special privilege to those with a particular religion. israel's immigration and citizenship policies are racist. -

hey krusty. i already said "okay. they have said 'no jews'". not sure what else you're looking for here. i haven't seen anyone here defending saudi's racist behaviour, especially not me. all i did was make a passing remark about how they haven't openly come out and said 'no jews', which i've already agreed was wrong. the only thing that i've done is compare saudi arabia to israel. whether they've put 'no jews' or not on their site doesn't change the fact that both countries discriminate based on religion and nationality. so based on israel's discrimination towards particular religious groups and nationalities, their policies are closer to saudi arabia's than to U.S. and canada. -

i still haven't seen this on any of their web sites. believe me, i searched. but, for the sake of moving along and not getting held up on a moot point, okay, i underestimated their racism and they discriminate out in the open and they have at some point written "no jews". if we can move along now and get back to the point that i was trying to make: israeli immigration and citizenship laws are closer to that of saudi's than they are to the western country. their immigration and citizenship laws discriminate based on religion and nationality. -
i don't take comments and opinions at face value. i research and educate myself on situations before agreeing or disagreeing. many of galloway's comments in regards to the palestinians coincide with international law.

he may have stood up for some good causes, but after this article, it is showing that he's willing to change his standards on human rights in order to keep his relationship with some.

you need enemies to keep the system going. since 2000, it's been bin laden, saddam and now ahmadinejad. without an enemy (either real or manufactured), you can't have wars. without wars, you can't have the military industrial complex making money.

there was never any discrepancy on whether or not mossadegh was fairly elected. no one disputed it. same goes with hamas. even steven cook acknowledges it: Steven A. Cook, a Middle East expert at the Council on Foreign Relations, started off the evening by acknowledging several facts, which he immediately said were entirely irrelevant. Yes, he said, Hamas was legitimately elected freely and fairly. Yes, Israel has illegally occupied the West Bank and, until recently, Gaza. Yes, Hamas has done much good with its social programs. But, he said, none of that matters. Hamas' central charter calls for the violent overthrow of Israel. no. it wasn't. that's why you're seeing what is happening today. look above and learn. they received majority of the votes and were elected by the palestinian people in both west bank and gaza. both parties clashed and people from both sides were killed. it wasn't a one way street. hamas threw fatah out of gaza and fatah threw hamas out of west bank. i hope we don't have to go through this again in the future.

the offer (which was never put in writing) was crap. have you seen a map of the offer? do you expect anyone to agree to have its people live in 4 cantons? with the highways controlled by another state? with the borders controlled by israel? with giving up occupied jerusalem? that's not a state. that's a prison. if you truly want to learn about camp david, look beyond DoP type sources. here is one that you can look at and maybe even learn from. -

what are you talking about? maybe it's the most convenient because that's when israel came to be? arafat never rejected the creation of a palestinian state. he agreed to create a palestinian state based on resolution 242. at the risk of repeating myself; what are you talking about? -

so yeah, lets get this straight: we have over 90% palestinian arabs living in the palestine "region" and then a mass immigration by the jews happens from russia and europe and a country named israel is born on the land that these palestinian arabs have been living on for centuries. there is a promise of a palestinian state but the arabs are like, "wtf? you can't just come in here and call this land your land! who do you think you are" and so they fight a few wars and lose the wars. then, one country after another accepts the state of israel and even arafat accept the creation of israel and the 1967 borders. yet, israel continues to stall and continues to annex more of the land.
