  1. okay. i don't think there is any point in continuing this discussion as you and i stand on different sides when it comes to international law. you're okay with breaking international law and i'm not.
  2. lol @ you adding the bit about 'living within the boundaries'. here is the end of the declaration and signed by the main leader: PLACING OUR TRUST IN THE "ROCK OF ISRAEL", WE AFFIX OUR SIGNATURES TO THIS PROCLAMATION AT THIS SESSION OF THE PROVISIONAL COUNCIL OF STATE, ON THE SOIL OF THE HOMELAND, IN THE CITY OF TEL-AVIV, ON THIS SABBATH EVE, THE 5TH DAY OF IYAR, 5708 (14TH MAY,1948). David Ben-Gurion good thing the declaration did not specify the borders in the UN resolution because, as it has already been mentioned by himself, David Ben-Gurion didn't really accept the borders. this is basically your word against ben-gurion.
  3. that's an example of you making shit up. here is me calling you a liar, again: contrary to repeated allegations by Israeli officials of the use of “human shields”, Amnesty International found no evidence that Hamas or other Palestinian fighters directed the movement of civilians to shield military objectives from attacks. It found no evidence that Hamas or other armed groups forced residents to stay in or around buildings used by fighters, nor that fighters prevented residents from leaving buildings or areas which had been commandeered by militants. from the report.
  4. okay. so you're not much into following the geneva convention and international law. perhaps you should go live in the congo where they have the same view as you.
  5. says your opinion. rules of war say something else. deal with it. ps - majority of people killed were civilians with over 300 of them children. get your facts straight otherwise you end up looking like DoP.
  6. lols. the zionist hat on your head seems a little too tight on your head.
  7. is this what it has come down to? building shelter with their own hands? it's more than just building shelter and repairing buildings. it's also the sewage system which israel has hit. you're making excuses. so what if they don't recognize israel? that is no excuse. the likud party has vowed to never allow a palestinian state. it's in their charter. that is a very poor excuse to try to justify what the palestinians have experienced. no? that's not the main reason? you're not being honest and are basically saying that the red cross and other humanitarian organizations are lying. the biggest reason why hamas was elected was due to their social programs. because the palestinians saw them as a better alternative to the corrupt fatah. don't forget, that it wasn't just the gazans who democratically elected hamas, but it was also the people in the west bank. anyway, there is no excusing hamas' unwillingness to change their charter. there is also no excusing israel's attack on the gazans and their continuous treatment of them now. uhm... 'raged pointlessly against israel'. right. pointlessly. i'm sure all the rage they have now is pointless too. i'm not interested in responding to a half-assed opinion piece which has no facts behind it. it's just another DoP-style drivel. all i ask is for people to leave their nationalism and team cheering aside and show an objective and fair look at the situation. there is nothing wrong with criticizing something that is wrong. even if you are criticizing a team that you usually like to cheer for.
  8. i'm not sure why you keep saying palestinian-learning like it has some significant meaning. the foundation was created to promote "a just solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that brings peace and security to both peoples." there have been some variations of proposals. many have been offered by the arab league and the latest one seems be one that the EU and obama endorse. no it doesn't. this is from the same site and it shows what the israelis offered: http://www.fmep.org/maps/redeployment-fina...view_fullscreen i don't mind that you're wrong. i just hope that you're learning something here.
  9. Foundation for Middle East Peace is not a 'palestinian learning group'. the 3rd map is not from camp david and the 2nd link to the camp david map shows the same israeli controlled highways that has already been discussed which create cantons in the west bank. it also shows how the west bank is surrounded by israeli control, limiting their access to the outside world. did you even look at these maps?
  10. by the way, look at the fake children's bodies. pallywood never seizes to amaze me.
  11. what other proof? the information you've provided is from an organization that has paul wolfowitz and dennis ross on the board of directors. those two along with many others from this organization are part of the israeli lobby. for example, dennis ross is now the chair of Jewish People Policy Planning Institute. this is why you should look into the background of where your information comes from. the best, unbiased source that i've found on camp david is by clinton swisher called "The Truth About Camp David." not sure if you're into educating yourself to understand the facts or you just want to pick and choose information in order to drive home your agenda.
  12. yes they have. both should be condemned and punished for their war crimes. but don't try to make it sound like this was 50/50. are you making excuses as well krusty? do you think amnesty is wrong on their report?
  13. the least you can do is to read the report then comeback with your excuses. because it makes you sound very ignorant and an apologist when you try to come up with solutions or reason for the treatment of the palestinians when you haven't even looked at the report.
  14. they have no infrastructure. how would they build their own? in case you missed it, gaza has been hit pretty hard. it's not just building materials either; israel does not allow the movement of necessary medical supplies. lets not kid around here, bonam. it's easier to talk about something when all sides acknowledge the real reasons. the real reason israel is doing this is to punish the gazan people for supporting hamas. they want the gazans to live in these situations to break their will. why do you make excuses for israel's actions? the red cross has come out and said that the gazans are living in filthy conditions because of israel. again, why do you make excuses? it only makes you look bad.
  15. i would like to see proof that "at the end of the negotiations, it was proposed to be one contiguous region". by all means, show it. even the jewish virtual library shows a map with palestinian cantons.
  16. the declaration of independence makes no mention of accepting the borders of the partition plan. stop trying to spread misinformation. as ben-gurion has said: ROZEN: "There's the question of the borders, and it cannot be ignored." BEN-GURION: "Anything is possible. If we decide here that there's to be no mention of borders, then we won't mention them. Nothing is a priori [imperative]." ROZEN: "It's not a priori, but it is a legal issue." BEN-GURION: "The law is whatever people determine it to be." that wouldn't be the first time israel disregarded the laws set out by the UN. they've violated many in the short time they've been a state.
  17. you still don't make sense. the israeli controlled highways that would split the west bank have nothing to do with israel being cut into cantons. the proposal by barak had nothing to do with making any changes to israel within the 1967 border.
  18. no thanx! says bonam. where do you suggest the people whose buildings have been demolish should sleep? they've been sleeping in tents for over 4 months.
  19. we all know how these 3 groups of experienced professionals fall so easily for the faked dead bodies, faked holes and cuts in bodies, faked ammunition planted into grounds, walls and bodies and faked information on israel's high percision weapons, faked videos and other faked evidence, which we all know is made hamas and pallywood. you've made another great point DoP.
  20. ben-gurion disagrees that israel 'accepted' the borders of the partition plan. you continue to say that israel accepted it. that makes you a liar.
  21. you truly are ridiculous. after 3 rights groups' reports condemning israel's attack on gaza and israel's current blockade and you comeback with shit like this? i feel bad for your daughter. i truly do.
  22. i wonder how old the littlest child is who is throwing the rock at the palestinian homes. they start out so young. aw. israeil settler kids do the darnest things!
  23. hey. i've been patient with you thus far, but if you're going to talk retard, i have no patience in responding. i don't even understand where you're going with your comments.
  24. instead of making another thread, here is another Rights Group's report: Rights group: IDF failed to verify drone targets in Gaza An international human rights group yesterday accused the Israel Defense Forces of failing on six occasions to verify the targets of drone aircraft during the Gaza conflict in January, killing at least 29 Palestinian civilians. The report by Human Rights Watch (HRW) states that in the six incidents in question, "Israeli forces either failed to take all feasible precautions to verify that the targets were combatants, apparently setting an unacceptably low threshold for conducting attacks, or they failed to distinguish between combatants and civilians and to target only the former. As a result, these attacks violated international humanitarian law (the laws of war)."
  25. okay DoP. it's all a lie. it's all made up.
