Isn't it time to slow down immigration?

Are you saying you live in an exclusively White community? -
Thank you Jilles, Danny and Jack!

He said he had 3 Conservative MPs in the previous government but they did nothing to help his cause. -

No. I don't know. No idea. Norman, I do not have a complete picture or even a concise theory of what exactly happened. All I know is there are too many things that don't sound, look or feel right. But at the same time I was not trained in doblespeak and doublethink. When I'm told something that directly contradicts my own observations and logic I will not believe it no matter how many times it's repeated. -

It appears to me that the segregation is caused more by financial divides than by race, religion or anything else. -

LoL You dug out this old thread just to post THIS? Shouldn't we save money on jails and trials and just execute them on the spot? Maybe save money on police by allowing citizens to bear weapons and make the executions themselves? Oh, what a wonderful world.... -

Thank you! I have great respect towards American science fiction writers - I read all I could find when I was a kid. Soviet Sci-Fi was, of course, almost non-existent (exceptions being Russian Strugatski brothers and Polish Lem). But some books could be found: Arthur Clarke, Ray Bradbury, Isaac Azimov, Harry Harrison, Clifford Simak, etc. But the shows like Star-Trek had no chance of making it to our 3-channel TV. -

It's exactly this faulty logic that keeps a lot of people opposed to the Greens. They believe that Less Waste and Environmental Pollution = Weaker Economy. -

I'm more a minority than not most of the time here... but many places in GTA both look and feel like Indo-China (almost no English or Whites at all). -

I feel bad - even though they were not killed and robbed of their land by MY ancestors. But maybe I'm just too sentimental... But you - we know you're not an idiot - why should you feel bad? You should be proud! Englishmen brought Freedom and Democracy to the savages! -

Even me - an Atheist and a Communist? Oh thank you, thank you so much! -
No Alta, I meant burning NOTHING. As in electric vehicles. Or solar-powered. Or both. In the worst case scenario - burn hydrogen to produce water. Don't people complain about cell phones? pc monitors? etc. etc. etc.? People like complaining. I bet even Amish people will find tons to complain about...

I did in my original post - but here you go again: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legitimacy_of...g_of_Yugoslavia FYI - not that it serves as a proof on its own but when Israel was defending their killing of 1,000 Lebanese civilians in the 2006 conflict they kept bringing up that Europeans "in their ivory towers" are trying to shame them with that while they themselves killed 10,000 Yugoslavs as a result of the bombing campaign. It is. The intention wasn't wrong - the method was. I don't cheer anybody's death. I'd like there to be no wars. But sometimes an aggressor that feels he's allowed to do anything will not stop until someone shows them how it feels when your ally is hurt and you're helpless. Didn't I hear a Conservative saying he should have ordered use of deadly force against the Natives and then the conflict would have been ended long time ago? -

Rushing into accusations, are we? Have you seen me saying anything, ANYTHING AT ALL about Jews? No. I said Israelis. Did you know that in Israel live Arabs as well? They are citizens of Israel, which makes them Israelis. But they are not Jews. I live side-by-side with Jewish people and they have helped me (at no direct profit to themselves) on many occasions. As a matter of fact they've helped me a lot more than people of my nation or Russians. Thus I only have good feelings towards the Jews. My opinion of Israel is very different, but that doesn't make me an anti-semite. Just like despising the USA's foreign policy doesn't make me anti-american. But just out of curiosity - have you even READ the page you linked? I couldn't find a single Israeli on the list of the dead posted there - all appear to be US citizens. Check your sources and get off of your high horse... -
London has introduced a tariff for driving into core downtown. Toronto has introduced an extra tax on vehicle registration. Things are already moving towards making driving downtown less of an option. I never said people living outside of the city should stop driving or using tractors, combines etc. But maybe these methods of transportation could switch to a drive that doesn't generate emissions. I believe in a few decades (hopefully no more than a couple) we'll be looking at an internal combustion engine for an automobile just like we're looking today at lighting candles. It is romantic but it also stinks.

It's just ONE of the facts. 4,000 Israelis were estimated to be in or around WTC at the time of the attack. Bush said 130 Israelis died in the attack. Jerusalem Post mentions 5, out of which 2 were on one of the planes and one was a janitor. DO NOT CONNECT THE DOTS! Or else you'll need the tinfoil that I see mentioned a lot on these forums. -

No, but one day when you walk outside you'll feel like you're in one of those countries -

My original argument had nothing to do with 9/11. It was about Canada's (Liberal) decision to follow USA (Democrat) decision to start bombing Yugoslavia. The reason I brought it up is that we WERE considered one of the most peaceful nations before. I'd like us as a country to once again try to claim that title. -

If you're mature enough you know that all in this world is done for money. I don't want to speculate but whatever happened was definitely NOT what was presented. The only explanation I find to most people taking the official version as granted is 8 years of brain-washing. -
Just because I support the Green Party doesn't mean I agree with every single thing they say and do. I chose GP as the best of what we have (for me, of course). I have my own views, some of which I shared with my Green candidate. Burning coal is an insult to the last 200 years of tecnological evolution, its use should have ended with the second millenia. Oil should be next one out the door, REGARDLESS of whehter CO2 is causing global warming or not. Cars should be phased out next, with the urban architecture returning to human-centric from car-centric.

Volumes of the opinion that have no reflection in the Parliament. I don't want my unpopular party to rule. I want it to be in and represented, even SOMEHOW (with the MMP Greens would still have gotten 0 FPTP seats and only 7% of the PR seats).

I guess moving all people that have the same political opinion into 1 riding just so they could get their candidate elected would make perfect sense to you.
