  1. I have not ever collected ei or welfare, I very rarely use Canada post mostly courier service because it is superiour and faster. the medical system has failed my family on more then one occasion, the policing is usless where I live it takes 45 minutes to respond, if they do respond. I have never had a job provided for me by the state, nor would I want one. Too many regulations get in the way and are expensive as you as bank customer have to pay more so the banks can afford to comply with them. (Not that I am against all regulation just over regulation). So yes I have managed to get ahead despite the government getting in my way.
  2. It cost more to travel via rail then west jet, the CBC is only good for watching the NHL, if you like hockey, (TSN would pay a lot more for the rights and contribute taxes, rather then suck them). The Pension Plan is a fraud, I would be able to receive better return on the money if I invested my own contributions, and healthcare is in a sorry state, I rather have a lower tax rate and pay a private insurance company for coverage. Legislation will never end the saying its not what you know its who you know in the employment field. Those who move up the career ladder typically are those who are good a networking. Much of this costs us taxpayers much more then it needs to. there is no need for crown corporations.
  3. Funny I have had no trouble concentrating a little wealth, and started with nothing. If you are willing to take a little risk, use your brain, and combine it with hard work, you will be successful. The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries. Winston Churchill
  4. Its not about concetrating power it is about being rewarded for your work, and having the risk and the potential reward from it.
  5. There is a diiference between charity and socialism.
  6. No one has said it was "tory" information, do you wish to name names Dobbin? I'm sure you have evidence.
  7. don't need to, the liberal party will end itself here as it did in Britian.
  8. Not a one, I have disagreed with the tories on many policies, and changed my prefered party more then once, no matter what you are pro liberal on all ideas and policy. i wonder what you think of economists deriding the liberal party for its stance on EI, will you admit it is wrong? Ignatieff proposal risks boosting seasonal unemployment: Economists http://www.google.com/hostednews/canadianp...bcKPAcNt4LkU0Kw
  9. Thats right, the liberals need to go, canada needs a conservative party and a labour party.
  10. Why would fox hire a commentator that is not an expert in American politics, and I have yet to see them have any commentators who's primary focus is Canadian politics, Canadian economy, or hockey. Fox would not hire Harper as a commentator. Why is it you spread all talking points coming from the liberal strategists, and seem to believe them implicitly, what is your connection, or are you working for them?
  11. Wrong they did run on how they were going to cut the GST.......but happened is where the just of your post is very accurate. (just in reverse)
  12. And yet they have not flocked to the Liberal party they in fact those that were not core liberals have not swayed they have stayed with the bloc, the ndp, and the tories. The truth has stopped Ignatieff and the liberals poll numbers, and they have receided from where they were prior to the summer break.
  13. People again ignatieff didn't just "work" outside the country, he lived his ENTIRE adult life pursuing his ENITRE CAREER outside CANADA. It is not the same, you are tring to spin this. He came back at the behest of the liberal party. If he had left and come back, left and come back it would be different, the optics are that of a opportunist.
  14. you didn't answer my question why do you seem intent on tring to drag someone out in this forum into making a staement that would result in a lawsuit?
  15. I don't see him suing media outlets do you? He brought lawsuits against the liberal party and liberal Mps, I don't see the liberal party sueing the conservative party or individual mps.
  16. So is ignatieff a immigrant now? Did he pursue any of his career in canada, or only his schooling. Seems to me only 30% of core liberal support really sees it the way you do, the rest of Canadians sees it differently, otherwise Ignatieff would have no problem polling higher then he is now.
  17. In this country you can't even opine without a lawsuit brought against you, just ask Mark Styen. You seem to relish the lawsuits, why?
  18. So why is there are immigrants in the conservative party sitting as MPs? Just more spin from the resident liberal party hack. Canadians distrust polticians that come back to canada after deriding the country abroad, only coming back to become leader of a party after the begging of a certain political party.
  19. Why would I need to find out, or are you just hoping to silence opposition through law suits?
  20. He was also on CNN how come nop accusation of him going to work for them.
  21. HAss nothing to do with either of those groups and theiy know it and you know it, just liberal party spin.
  22. No what we saw was media looking for a story any story. Career polticians are always looking to the next step, I am sure there are polticians within the liberal party building support for the day ignatieff leaves to go back to teaching at Harvard.
  23. Harper did not leave canada for 30 some years to live his life and pursue is career entirely out of country. The optics of ignatieff coming back are very poor.
