Do you people just make this stuff up as you go along? Harper and the CPC have no policy what so ever on the abortion issue. I wish there was. As of right now if a physician and a pregnant women wants to abort right up to the last moment before birth there is no law forbidding it. I am not a hard core anti abortionist but I personally feel there should be some restriction on timing. When does a fetus become a baby? Apparently in Canada it is only after actual birth. When my Mrs. was pregnant we always considered ourselves as with child. If a pregnant women is murdered ,the murder` is only charged with one murder. we need some kind of law determining whan a fetus becomes a child.

I had a certain amount of sympathy for Sihks joining the RCMP and wearing a Turban. The Stetson was tradition,not a law. This is a law and all people should be equal before the law. In India Sihk military pilots wear helmets! They wear a symbolic mini turban to accomodate. Why not in this case? The USA has made mistakes and I can see why someone could call it terrorism at times,but it is very different than Islamic Terrorism. They run highjacked Aircraft killing thousands, blow up trains,use downs syndrome girls to blow up their fellow Muslims, take civilian or military prisoners and without any hesitation chop off heads or torture with impunity. If somehow you or I found ourselves being taken prisoner in the middle east , I can assure you ,it would be a relief to find out you were in the hands of western forces. Now that is a fact!

Maybe Little Mosque on the Praire will denounce this useing of gentle Downsyndrome gals as walking bombs in the name of Islam? Or maybe those of the Islamic faith will march in the streets denounceing this obscene use of innocents? Where are the voices of peaceful Islam? Where is the comdemnation from Islamic leaders? All I hear is silence! How are people like me who want to believe the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful keep the faith in their fellow human beings, if the silence is deafening? I wait. A couple of points, do you really believe that Bin Ladin and his happy gang can be negotiated with? By whom? Jack Layton perhaps? Can the Taliban be negotiated with? Again ,by whom? Jack Layton or maybe Sven Robinson perhaps? Who or what country do Al Quida and or the Taliban represent? If not Layton ,then how about the UN? After a very long and somewhat successful life it has been my observation that you can`t teach anything unless you have the attention of your pupil.
