  1. I'm not here to flame or troll, just gathering info. Free trade is obviously causing some major harm in the world can you guys deny that? I'm not looking for a dictatorship either. The governments are too damn big and too complicated i think. I'm not the only one that feels this way. I actually wrote "Ill be honest, I'm fed up with humankind. I almost want to see the world burn away, maybe several BILLIONS should die(and I think its coming in this generation), then maybe we would wakeup!" I'm in agreement with Jerry J. Why should i have to risk my life, work my ass off for 50 yrs, miss my kids growing up and retire poor? I'm using communication to throw ideas and receive them, and maybe, just maybe, some of us can come up with descent answers. anyone familiar with Ayn Rand and her objectivism philosophy? I'm listening to her audio books and i must say its quite interesting. a different view of capitalism for sure.
  2. i didnt mention 3rd world countries, im talking about HUMANKIND, read before you flame.
  3. The real terrorists are the 1st world countries, terrorism goes beyound physical violence.
  4. I'm a Christian. God is actually against "religion". Religion in only man made rituals that ppl do. God is about relation, not religion.
  5. Thx Jerry, your reply, in my opinion, is the most intelligent reply so far(no offense to everyone). What upsets me is that we are smarter then ever before, technology, medicine, politics you name it, so why is it so f%#*ed up? Ill be honest, I'm fed up with humankind. I almost want to see the world burn away, maybe several BILLIONS should die(and I think its coming in this generation), then maybe we would wakeup! Vive la revolution!
  6. my concern is that the problem is world wide. canada is one of the best country to live in, but the 3rd world countries are still starving. the more i look into it, the more uptight i become.
  7. Here is a new one, http://www.freewebs.com/viv3lar3volution/writings.htm
  8. Theres a lot of Muslim flaming in this topic, yes they are Muslims, but extremists Muslims. I personally know devout Muslims and they all condemn terrorism, its against their beliefs. Do we still condemn Germans for the ll world war?
  9. It may have been the case 250yrs ago in Scotland but i see it differently, especially the last 10 or so yrs. Can anybody seriously tell me they are genuinely happy. Stress levels are unbelievably high new diseases, neurodisoders suicides, shitty schools kids killing, abuse and on and on Everything is off the scale! Ill die trying http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitalism http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/affectation sums it up for me.....
  10. http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=8...5&ref=share Here is an awesome article i came across and I cannot disagree with the author.
  11. If your happy with capitalism, you must be wealthy or a politician. You don't think there are socialists country that have descent health care? When I say socialist i don't mean communist. We dont have to change everything to become a socialist nation.
  12. Well I dont mean Communism if thats what your asking. In a nutshell Capitalism is the pursuit of private interest as opposed to the public interest. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia; Capitalism refers to an economic and social system in which the means of production are predominantly privately[1][2] owned and operated, and in which investments, distribution, income, production and pricing of goods and services are determined through the operation of a market economy. It is usually considered to involve the right of individuals and groups of individuals acting as "legal persons" or corporations to trade capital goods, labor, land and money (see finance and credit). There are many "types" of scocialism nowadays but my views are like the New Socialist Group, ....committed to the self-emancipation of the working class, internationalism and opposition to imperialism and all forms of oppression. We reject bureaucratic and authoritarian visions of socialism and look instead to the radical tradition of socialism from below which believes that liberation can be achieved only through the activity and mobilization of the exploited and oppressed themselves. Our goal is workers’ power, a socialist democracy that is far more democratic than any capitalist society, and that has nothing in common with Stalinism. The N.S.G. supports the struggles of all the oppressed and exploited, including the self-organized and autonomous movements of women, people of colour, lesbians and gay men, bisexuals, transexuals, intersexed and transgender people, young people and people living with disabilities. These struggles are necessary to bring about unity and equality amongst the working class and the oppressed and are central to the fight for a socialist society. The N.S.G. supports ecological struggles and works to develop an ecological socialism from below. In the Canadian state, the N.S.G. supports the right to self-determination for the First Nations and the people of Quebec up to and including the right to choose independence. Around the world, the N.S.G. supports struggles against national oppression and imperialism. That sums it up.
  13. As far as I understand it Palestine and Iraq are under occupation, which is illegal isn't it? A good friend 'o mine is a Muslim from Afghanistan, we we're talking about "the war" and he said "Of course the Muslims are upset, lets say Canada was having major problems, and another army came in to "help", and then Canadian civilians were getting killed, abused, rapped you name it, and then they tried to impose their laws, religions or whatever on us. It wouldn't be much of a liberation." It was more like an invasion. What chokes my chicken the most is that we(America) are there for no reason except to take control of the oil. If they were actually there to help them fight Al-Quada, then fine but, get our troops outta there!
