Afghan boys used as sex slaves by warlords.
Moxie replied to Moxie's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
Globally children are suffering at the hands of animals like these men, yet these men aren't ashamed of their pedophile behavior in Afghanistan-in fact they seem to think using children as sex toys is quite acceptable. -
Taliban controlling most of Afghanistan, not losing
Moxie replied to trex's topic in The Rest of the World
Ah the Senlis Council, well from my research it's a one person show. A female lawyer seems to be their "Council" in Canada. It's funding comes from Europe, who's funding it? Good question, go to Army.ca there is a really good thread on this "Council" or lack of Council. Their (whomever they are) agenda seems to be legallizing drugs. In a country as morally corrupt as Afghanistan are we really surprised warlords steal the aide money? NO. What's the alternative? -
After reading the five pages I was left feeling ill and cold inside, these boys are sexually abused until they grow body hair. What left me cold was the children seem to be accepting of their role as sex slaves. Honestly, it's left me speechless with shock and horror. Snippet: PUL-E KHUMRI, Afghanistan (Reuters) - They are known as "bacha bereesh", boys without beards, teenage boys who dress up as girls and dance for male patrons at parties in northern Afghanistan. It's an age old practice that has led to some of the boy dancers being turned into sex slaves by wealthy and powerful patrons, often former warlords, who dress the boys up as girls, shower them with gifts and keep them as "mistresses". Afghan police are battling to crackdown on the practice which has angered Islamic clerics who say those involved should be stoned for sodomy, forbidden under Islamic law. In a society where the sexes are strictly segregated, it is common for men to dance for other men at weddings in Afghanistan. But in northern Afghanistan, former warlords and mujahideen commanders have taken that a step further with competitions for their dancing boys. "Every boy tries to be the first. They are dressed in women's clothes, have bells on their feet and have artificial breasts," said Mohammad Yawar, a former mujahideen fighter against the Taliban and resident of the northern town of Pul-e Khumri. The practice, called "bacha bazi" -- literally "boy play" -- has a long history in northern Afghanistan, but sometimes it does not stop with just dancing. "I very much enjoy hugging a boy. His smell and fragrance kills me," said Yawar. The 38-year-old businessman said he recruited a 15-year-old boy three years ago to help him with his work. Continued... Canada blocks Commonwealth climate-change deal
Moxie replied to trex's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Wild Bill wrote: Near as I can figure, most Kyoto supporters have never read the damn thing (have YOU?) and are simply running on some kind of faith in the new religion of "Save the planet from evil capitalists by buying chickens for every pot in the poor, disadvantaged third world that we white folks ripped off for generations". A bit much for scientifically minded folks to swallow. I might support some kind of international agreement but not this one! If the problem is real there are far better ways to deal with it. I concur, Kyoto is nothing but a mathmatical formula. Debit this country and credit that country and at the end of the day there is no reduction in pollution. However, consulting scientist and echo terrorist would make a fortune out of the propaganda called Global Warming. It was and is a sham, a scam to give billions of dollars to those that are trying to have global warming declaired a FACT. It isn't, it's fast becoming the religion of those who lack adequate Grey Matter. -
PLEASE I BEG YOU GIVE ME A BETTER GRADE OF TIN FOIL, I ONLY READ YOUR POST THE REST I FOUND THE INNER STRENGTH TO NOT READ I AM WEAKING more tin foil please Michael. Bush is dumber than a hedge fence and twice as dense but he and the JOOs managed to crumple the Twin Towers. Yea, and I have some lovely "Ocean front" property for sale in Manitoba real cheap.

I think it should be a right, if I buy a subscription to a magazine they are allowed to sell my personal information for profit. Canada Posts sells our personal information yearly to the highest bidder, if I get a credit check done I have to give them written permission under our current privacy laws to do the invasive credit check. Yet the government can sell if for a profit. Why is that? Certain groups can profit from my personal information and other groups can't, I prefer to be given a choice. If I don't want the hardware store doing a personal profile I just tell them my phone number is unlisted and they shutup, if I tell them I don't want them having that information they imply I HAVE to give it to them. Dah, no I don't. Personal information gathering is a gold mine for certain junk mail groups and it po's me to no end.

The Physical Decay Of Christian Churches
Moxie replied to Oleg Bach's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
Religion is slowly losing it's place in society, if it wants to survive it needs to change. The old churches, and there are many, go up for sale all the time here in NS and wealthy foreigners buy then and turn them into cottages. The exterior stays the same and the interior gets a facelift, good for the economy and a lovely old building is loved again. It doesn't matter what one's race or skin color is, it's the color of money that decides who gets to buy it. -
Boycott Catholic, Anglican, United churches
Moxie replied to jennie's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
I think you vacuumed your morals up along time ago. Regarding the Butterbox Babies, no they were not "Mostly" Native but in fact poor white women who got pregnant out of wedlock. Babies that were sick or appeared sick were left to die in their cribs, the healthy ones were sold to childless American Families. They wanted only "White" babies not biracial enfants. You really should stop rewriting history to suit your agenda. Poor white women have suffered equally to native women. -
Borg wrote: Dr. GreenThumb - I can tell you that there are huge numbers of folks who do not stand with pride at Canada's multicultural diversity and two languages. In fact many despise it as a waste of time, effort and money - and are seriously concerned at potential security issues it has caused. I suspect within my life time there will be some serious upheavals over the one way street this is delivered. Imagine a whites only school. An English only medical centre. A Christians only university. All would and have come under attack while the exact opposites are flourishing with government, media and left leaning organizations heavily supporting through money, legal advice, media announcements and so on. Who is becoming the disadvantaged? Who is becoming the disadvantaged? The majority as we are forced to pay for minority life styles and culture, it's the new thanggggggggggggggggg. If we don't we are racists bigots. Yes it's okay to have French only Schools, Medical Centers, etc but dear god don't let them their white Canadians get uppity. Its okay to write songs that call white women hoes but if I were to write a song stating "ALL" black women were hoes (they aren't) I'd have me arse hauled before the Human Rights Commision asap. Sadly it's us who have to pay for all this propaganda regarding the "Evil whiteman" and how he's holding the minorities down. It was the liberal left that engineered new immigrants into gettos and religious enclaves not us Facist Conservatives. Great plan though, socially engineer a group to a small area and get the vote for a lifetime. Bravo Sideshow, I high five you. I'm beinging to think Olga and Jenny are working together to paint this forum as a Racist Forum, why? First he states this a fine forum and they he accuses us of being "White Supremacist" without a link to any posts or without him/her doing any achival reading. A little less accusations and a little more evidence is in order.

Dion a drag on already floundering Liberals.
Moxie replied to Michael Bluth's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Sure you did, talking to yourself is the first sign of old age Sharkman. Dion is the Cons not so secret weapon, if he gets elected can you imagine what kind of image he'd display globally? He'd make Bush look like an Academic who speaks flawless English. -
Protest Greets the Opening of an Arabic School in New York
Moxie replied to scribblet's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
Ah a Madrassa in the Middle of NYC, hows that for scary. No doubt financed and paid for by Saudi Arabia, I wonder will girls be allowed to attend classes with boys? Will the usual text books describe Jews as pigs and infidels as dogs? Bush sends troops to die in Iraq, supposedly fighting radical Islamist and he allows a Madrassa to be build and run in the US. I can only shake my head at such hypocrisy. The nut jobs are running the asylumn. Anyone want a PC'ed cookie? -
Natives win title and rights to large swath of B.C. land
Moxie replied to jennie's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Riverwind it's not so much "Don't want to live off the land" it's more like aren't qualified for the job. In NS we spend millions teaching them how to fish for a living, how's that for pityful. They've let their cultural skills lapse and we have to retrain them to live in the year 1810. They don't know how to hunt, fish or work the land but they lament the loss of their culture. Who's to blame? Them, sitting idle reliving the glory days and blaming "The White Man" is hypocrisy at it's finests. -
Boycott Catholic, Anglican, United churches
Moxie replied to jennie's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
Could you produce a small Shard of proof for your assertion that their are bodies? Where are they buried? More children in NS died as a result of a private interprise know as "The Butter Box Babies" than Natives in NS. I agree the Catholic Church was intrumental in causing great harm to the Native Community, but the government of the day was the one who gave them carte blance to "Integrate" them into civilized society. I'd be happy to converse on this issue but when I read this bit: Dr. Noam Chomsky Institute Professor Emeritus Massachusetts Institute of Technology Anne Coultare and he are the same coin just different sides, he's a bitter angry old man. -
Bang on Wilber, police officers put their life on the line daily to protect the public should they not consider their lives just as important. If someone is out of control, should they allow that person to get close enough to possibly take their "Side Arm"? No, the tazer's purpose is to protect the police officer and the public from someone resisting arrest or acting in a violent manner. So some people think the officer should put his personal saftey at risk-- lest he harm or shock possibly kill-- to disarm a criminal who is committing a crime. It's easy to judge when one's life and personal safty isn't at risk, I'll wait for the facts.

Finally a blow to Socialism and it's facist followers in England.
Moxie replied to Moxie's topic in The Rest of the World
In England the libraries are full of Islamic Books that preach hatred and violence towards Jews and us Infidels. How to beat your wife and where to hit her, nice bodice rippers-- not. When asked why they aren't being removed the Spokes Person stated freedom of Expression, now if I were to stand on a street corner in England at state "Islam is Evil" I'd be arrested faster than one can say "Bob's your uncle". There is currently a double standard in England, and it's scary. If the police are enforcing PCness and refusing to tackle hate speech and incitement for violence by these Islamist and instead investigates the Media to me that is the first step in creating a "Fascist State". -

Queen's University has "whiteness and maleness" issues..
Moxie replied to kengs333's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
Who really cares, as long as the classes are full and productive does race or sex matter? NO. -
I think some of us have had enough of the commercialism, I stopped buying Christmas presents ten years ago. I had enough of spending a fortune on family and friends, I have a very large family. Nine siblings and to many relatives visa vie nephews and nieces to count. At first I felt like the grinch, but Christmas is stress free for me. I don't decorate or put up a tree, I can't cook so baking is out of the question. I cook dinner for some family and adopt two needy families and give to local fund raisers and the food bank and that's it. I don't need more stuff, at some point in our lives (usually when a loved one is dying) we realise at the end of the day it's just STUFF. People matter, suffering matters a bread maker is just more crap. Children make Christmas special, their joy makes me smile. I know adults that spring to life at Christmas, I also know many who suffer depression at Christmas. Christmas can be a time of great joy, or over whelming sorrow.

The Towns & Cities and Crime in Ontario
Moxie replied to soowas's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
If a similar crime study was done in a white wealthy neighbourhood the pro-native group would be high fiving each other. Stating we told you they are all criminal racist dogs, but to do a study in a Native Community on crime it's racism. How about drug abuse, glue sniffing, gas sniffing hundreds of kids dying every year, where's the native leaders when these kids are sitting in the middle of the road with a plastic bag tied on their heads? We can't solve these problems, their tribal in Nature. It appears the Natives want self rule but expect the rest of us to pay for their leaders failures. Reverse Racism and hypocrisy, I'm tired of them blaming everyone but themselves for the sewer they live in. If they want clean drinking water don't build the loo up river of your water source, it's not rocket science. -
Is Afghanistan Simply Old Fashioned Adventurism?
Moxie replied to Oleg Bach's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Angus it's the propaganda from the peaceniks it's sticks to weak minds like gum, they are currently on a campaign to prevent the Military from attending career days at schools and Universities. Apparently the peaceniks think the big bad military are interested in poe people. I can only shake my head at the ignorance of these people, the average military member attends more courses and and requal programs to keep current than any civie I know. My husband served for twenty years, Pilot, and we are neither poor or uneducated. I know of cooks who have master degrees. It's not about "lack of Education" or being Poe, people join the military because it's a calling and it has nothing to do with killing people. I personally found the level of integrity and honour of Military Members to surpass what I've experienced since he retired, I miss the people and the lifestyle. -
Natives win title and rights to large swath of B.C. land
Moxie replied to jennie's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Quote from article: He ruled the group has the right to hunt and trap birds and animals throughout the 2,000-square-kilometre claim area. The court also agreed the Tsilhqot'in can capture and use wild horses for transportation and work. "These rights have been continuous since pre-contact time which the court determines was 1793," Vickers states. So how does this equate with "Winning" anything, they can hunt and fish and capture wild horses to eat. I cannot see Natives having horseback riding skills anymore. Natives in NS have the right to hunt and fish on Crown Land, off season for personal use only. Doesn't seem like much of a victory does it? On a side note when the Government announced they were closing the base in Portage La Prairie the local natives decreed it's was "Thier Land" with not a shread of proof. There was quite a broo haha for a while, tents and drums and demands in the end they didn't have a leg to stand on. I believe in honouring the treaties if "Evidence Exists" there was a treaty, however Oral History isn't evidence it's fables. I like to see the government "Get it done" and let the Natives depend on their own resources. Enough is enough, enough already. -
Yet More Proof: Traditional Family is Good
Moxie replied to kengs333's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
American Women and Drea I applaud both of your posts, for sanity sake I didn't bother to copy them because I concur with both of you. That is what's so great about being a female in the twenty first century WE decide, it's not society that deems what is proper anymore. I think it's wonderful if a female wants to stay home and raise her children, it's the hardest job (in my opinion) on earth. I also applaud Drea, I decided very young I didn't want children EVER. I watched my siblings (nine of them) get married young and have children, I realised that it wasn't a life style I wanted for me. Education and travel were my dreams. I've taken alot of flak over the years for being married and childless, I often get asked the question "Who will take care of you when you get old"? Whomever I pay to do so is my answer. I have met men who are better fathers than the female is a "Mother", some people are natural in their parental role others it's pure hard work. I admire those that stick with it, single or married. I consider the family unit to be what ever you choose it to be. It can be relatives, friends or a social group you rely on. I think it's great that females have evolved to embrace what ever lifestyle best fits their personality. Society and it's norms can kiss me bum. Cupofjoe wrote: What's interesting though is that this thread is discussing the role of mothers when the point of the OP was that children are more at risk in step and blended families where the man is not their biological father. That's a finding I can heartily agree with, as a man (or woman, for that matter) does not generally have the same emotional investment in the well being of a child who is not his own. His primary concern and motivation is going to be the mother, in the words of Chrissie Hynde, the babies just come with the scenery. Of course there are exceptions to the rule, but they are the exceptions imo. Actually Joe I have found that a equal number of natural fathers are the dead beat parent, many of my friends and family are in their second marrages. After the divorce the father is somewhat active in his childrens life but once the female remarries it's as if he wants no further contact with HIS children. They stop support payments, and will quit their jobs to ensure they can't be forced to pay. They cut off all contact with their children and in many cases start new families with a girl friend. These kids lives are left an emotional wreck, why do men behave this way? Punishing the children because their mother moved on with her life. My nieces and nephews have grown to hate their natural fathers, yet they have strong bonds with their step fathers. Who stepped in and took on the role of father, not because they wanted to but because the natural father tossed his children away like garbage. It's the step fathers that stood up to the plate and took on the parenting challenge out of sheer necessity. All a child needs is love, safty and boundries. The family is whatever it is as long as love and security are part of it a child will thrive. -
