The Six Nations and Crime in Ontario
Moxie replied to kengs333's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
One thing that never comes up in Native Discussions is Native Culture is not like ours. Their beliefs and their connection to the land is sacred. It's not feigned or faked, they truely feel a connection to the soil. Their beliefs are entrenched into their spiritual environment. No one ever takes the time to understand their roots, culture and beliefs. Not all natives want to live on reserves and suck the public tit, many work and walk amongst us. We need to resolve this issue once and for all, we can't undo the harm we did in the past but we must stop enforcing our beliefs when we go to the negotiating table. They do not think as we do, most tribes didn't even have a word for quilty. Twenty years ago a native would be brought before the courts and asked if he was innocent or quilty. How can he respond if their is no native word for quilty. If someone stole from them because of need they accepted that that person needed what they took more than they did. If a native stole for greed they would be banished from the community. There is so much that is beautiful and peaceful in Native Culture but this gets bogged down by steriotypes. I place most of the blame on the Feds, current and past PMs for failing to investigate the corruption from the band level up to the top. How can we work with the Native Community to fix what's broken when we don't really know what's broken. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that placing septic field on high ground above your water source is stupid. Time after time we evacuate Native Reserves because of their own stupidity. There is equal blame to be laid on white man's side and Native Side. A full house cleaning is needed but no PM todate has had the guts to get rid of the corruption on both sides and innocents suffer as cowards and theives get rich. Many natives don't trust us, it should be their own people they don't trust. They take from them to live the good life while forty natives live in a one room shack. They need to have an inner revolt to clean house and rebuild and then we can work together to negotiate the treaties our For Fathers Signed. -
why Alberta hasn't seperated
Moxie replied to no queenslave's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
Is that a Statue or a statute? My god he worships the queen and her idols. I bet his last name is Tutor?????????? Now let us meander back twenty years in history when Alberta's economy was in the toilet, tanked, joblessness abounded and housing prices bottomed out. You couldn't give a house away back then in Alberta, exspecially Edmonton, and who paid to keep this province a float during it's poverty years? Well yes Moxy that would be Ontario and Quebec, now that Alberta is doing well SOME narrowmined Albertains want to seperate and hog all the oil bucks. Well how greedy the fallen mighty have become, it's scary what oil dollars do to people isn't it. -
I can't image shopping in the middle of the night unless I'm half dead from the flue and well frankly it's the other halfs job to save me by driving to a 24 hour store.

Rice admits U.S. handling of Arar case 'imperfect'
Moxie replied to Fortunata's topic in Canada / United States Relations
He was one of ours, we shipped him out for torture because the Liberals are so tolerant and they love appeasement. Harper was smart enough to know we are libel for what happens to our citizens when we hand them over to a foreign government. Excuse me I have a horse poop shovel to find. -
Rue wrote: Being a non purelains from Quebec who came to Ontario I would describe Quebec culture with the fact that we Jews taught them how to make a proper bagel and how to smoke brisket properly. Well if that's your claim to fame I feel really bad for you. Bagals are the most god awful food creation seconded only to NFL's potted meat. Even NFLanders don't know what potted meat is. Rue I don't have to explain Canadian Culture to you or the other cult members of the Multicult brigade. Canada is made up of many cultures starting with our ties to the Native Communities, our early immigrants from England, Scotland and Ireland, the former USSR, China etc. One thing we all had in common was our family values, christianity and a culture that has grown to embrace what makes us different and what links us as a society. You seem to think, like most multicult followers, that culture is made up of FOOD. Nope our culture isn't that shallow, it's our history and our roots and shared cultures that have merged together and formed Canadian Culture. It's truely pityful that some Canadians seem to think culture is based on food and spices, if that were the case Indian food would be outlawed. That stuff sticks something fierce, and taste awful. But Canadians are accepting of other cultures, we enjoy experiencing new foods and spices but it certainly doesn't define a culture. Feel free to embrace the Islamist Culture, hell will freeze over before I'll allow Sharia Law in Canada. JBG, lol it doesn't make much sense to be running around in full desert gala of flowing robes in the middle of a Canadian winter but hey it's Canada we do tolerate more than most countries would. Another example of Muslim intigration, not. This isn't an isolated case, but a series of many attacks on EU doctors by Muslims trying to enforce seven century Sharia Law. Sniff, what is it about this culture that's worth embracing might I ask? I see nothing worthy of embracing and adding to Canadian Culture. NOTHING. Another example of how far the Islamist will go to enforce Sharia Law on a secular government: http://www.flandersnews.be/cm/flandersnews...s/071026_muslim

Europe: Curing, not punishing, addicts
Moxie replied to maldon_road's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
ME either Wilber. A junkie will kill to get high, their desire for another fix is stronger than their sense of survival. Treatment only works if they have decided to get clean, and stay clean. It's not an easy problem to fix. -
I still think he raised a valid issue, did the veil restrict her vision. Sadly the PC police decided the issue of the veil was a non-issue lest the media offend imaginary offended people. I guess the media has ensured, by removing the story, that the issue of head coverings can or cannot impede vision and cause accidents isn't news worthy. I can only shake my head, I guess pandering and appeasing is more important than children and the public's safty. WE COULD be at risk from drivers with impeded vision because of a head covering visa vie a veil or burka but that's not politically correct to discuss.

LOL well stated.

I miss the ole days when I'd be standing at the boarder or in my car stating "No sir I have nothing to declair while wearing ten new outfits at the same time". LOL, I can't get away with that anymore, the challenge of the hunt for bargains has left me.

Rice admits U.S. handling of Arar case 'imperfect'
Moxie replied to Fortunata's topic in Canada / United States Relations
I hold the Canadian Government responsible for what happened to him, it was the RCMP that screwed up. They do it quite often in murder trials, so why the urge to blame the US? I have no doubt he was tortured, none. I also don't believe he'll win a lawsuit against the US, he's hoping the negative press will force Bush to settle out of court. He's gotten greedy, ten million isn't enough to live in Hippyville BC these days? I had compassion for him, but now he appears to another greedy man screaming VICTIM victim daily. I'm not interested in his story anymore, if he had taken the settlement and moved on with his life I'd feel differently. -
Time to ditch Kyoto, experts urge
Moxie replied to Canuck E Stan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Great post old Instead of focusing on Global Warming should we not be looking for ways to reduce pollution, my priorities are the air we breathe, the water we drink and the soil we poison. IT's not to late to undo the damage our greed has done. If that means going after big industries like lumber and oil that's fine with me. They'll scream and shout and threaten to leave but our Country is to important to poison for short term financial gain. -
I think it's to late for some Europian Countries, like Belgium. Muslim youth rioting in the streets of Brussels and else where for a week yet the police have made no attempt to arrest and stop the unlawful civil/criminal behavior. Innocent people have been assulted and stabbed yet the police seem to be more concerned with not upsetting the Muslim youth than restoring law and order. Belgium has shown the world that pandering to criminal muslim youths is more important the law an order. Reverse racism and bigotry aimed at native Belgiums so the politicians can get re-elected. Muslims are the swing vote, and it appears pandering and race relations is the only priority of the Belgium goverment. Beatings, rioting, cars being set alight, burning down businesses and stabbings are of no importance, anything is acceptable to get the Muslim vote. It appears to me that if Muslim youth are denied a superior position in society they riot, and this is the future of Eurabia. Deny the minority Muslim population anything they deem Islamic and holy hell shall break loose. Elite Politicians want to lead for a life time, the Muslim vote ensures they have the power for at least twenty more years before Europe because an Islamic State. The left can scoff until the cows come home but the future of Europe is going down the path of an Islamic State. The socialist have distroyed the Europian Culture using Muliticultural Policies, at least Canada can look at Europe as a bad example of what our government should not do.

LOL run Daniel runnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. I'm not joking who knows what constitutes an infraction worthy of being placed on the No Fly list? On the upside the Snow Birds won't be rushing to spend their retirement dollars in the US for six months of the year anymore but on the upside no Quebecers wearing Speedos. Unwelcoming and a paranoid Bush have made going to the US unpleasant to say the least. Their dollar being less than ours why would they when Cuba is so cheap and friendly?

Poverty is an Employment industry amongst the liberal left in Canada. When I was a University Student I worked nights and went to school during the day. I often existed on three hours sleep. I survived and thrived. Poverty is a circ cycle (Lotus math forumula), those who are raised in it often feel defeated and entitled to Social Assistance and they keep the circ logic and lifestyle alive. Our social programs are a problem, in many Europian Countries they found that eliminating the jobs of Social Workers and Social Welfare advocates and poverty decreased. An entire Government industry exist to aide those in poverty, it's in their best interest to keep the poor and unemployed poor and unemployed. If poverty were reduced they don't have jobs, ergo they keep the myth alive and well-the people who suffer matter not to them. However their comphy Federal/Provincial jobs for a lifetime are of utmost importance.

It's down right scary, what constitutes a Terrorist these days in the US? Bra burning? Tree Hugging? Peaceniks? I don't like these groups much but restricting their access into the US (or US citizens exiting the US) is the first step towards a Communist Run State. Bush has already taken to many rights away from decent law abiding citizens in the name of terror. We know who want us dead, why not investigate them instead of eighty year old tree huggers who burn their bras? Ouch, that brought a nasty vision into my grey matter.

I put this in the moral and religious forum because body weight and body image has become a religion onto it's self because of the media's fixation with women and their weight. Obesity and body weight is often reported in the media as a personal moral issue, like one decides to be FAT or over weight. The gal in the video is amazing, drop dead gorgeous with her head screwed on straight. I enjoyed it so much I had to share it. I hope it doesn't offend anyone, I don't have a a problem with my weight so I am not sure how bad it can be for those who do. I do not mean to offend, and I hope I haven't. It starts out cheesy but stay with it, it's worth it. A Fat Rant:

Conservatives Admit that Daycare Progam
Moxie replied to jdobbin's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Why is it taxpayer's responsibility to pay for or subsidize childcare? Frankly if people want children they should be mature enough to KNOW they are expensive little buggers. People who can't afford children shouldn't be having them, they are not my responsibility. The adage that it takes a village to raise a child is nonsense. -
Duceppe to make French his priority in Parliament
Moxie replied to Leafless's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
So Quebec forces, visa vie PET, biligualism down our throats to the tune of millions every year, now it wants to be French only. Okay, no problem the Feds will scrap bilingualism and Quebec can be French only. No jobs that are in Hull can be French because we shall have reverted back to Englais. It's simple really, not Quebec would demand that the Federal Government make all Federal Jobs French only in Ottawa and Hull. As per the norm they want their cake and to eat it to, and they steal Aunt Emma's cake plate to boot. A province of entitlement. As a Maritimer, who would suffer from isolation, I say let Quebec seperate, bye bye don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out. -
I prefer to buy second hand, or dumpster dive. I buy my books used, as well as most of my clothing. I have a twenty year old TV that works just fine. My sterio recently died and it was twenty five years old. I don't own a DVD player, I don't watch movies. I guess I'm retails version of a crappy customer. We've become a disposable society, it's cheaper to buy a new printer than it is to buy a printer cartridge. It's insane that electronic companies can exploit us as they do. Our landfills fill up with poisonous "NEW" electronics because they makes it to expensive to retain our electronics for a decade as we use to do with TV's, sterios, Fridges and Stoves and Computers. It's shameful.

Yep apparently this mystery has been been solved, redheads were the first neaderthal man. What about us lasses? I have no idea what this means to the scientific community though. Story: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/arti...in_page_id=1811

A very good analogy, now I'll sit back and wait for the responses. Personally I don't believe one can have dialogue with these vile dogs, they have one goal an Islamic state that mirrors the seven hundreds. Women and children mean nothing to Muslim Taliban Men, other than objects to abuse or strap bombs on them. A camel has more worth than a female.
