BUT, when a wal-mart comes in and wipes out all competitors, it can then ask whatever it wants for products, as it has exterminated all it's competition. Wal-mart is in a unique position to do that initially ( substantial buying power), then once all or almost all the competition is gone, they are free to charge, whatever the choose. That doesn't benefit anyone. A healthy, diverse marketplace is what benefits us all, on price, on product and on employment.

No we shouldn't and the Catholic board, should not even get the funding it does. IMO, religious schools should be privately funded by the people, who want there kids to go there to get 'religious instruction'. which IMO belongs at church, anyway. I dislike wal-mart, and shop there as little as possible, it generally destroys communities, IMO, cost's the taxpayers of the community they move into a boat load of money. They are pretty much the number 1 provider of jobs in China, they have despicable labour practices, and since I don't support the abuse of other hard-working people, I don't support wal-mart.
