  1. one world government would be a massive tyranny, out of touch with and estranged from the populace. even just looking at the nonsense from that site. banning war? how would someone ban war, how much control would have to be exerted over every individual on the planet to ensure no 'war' Control of individuals and their access to resources and more what baloney globaloney!
  2. Apparently Israel can't decide on their borders either. Yet, you take no issue with that dillemma?
  3. Good PR has likely played an extemely large roll in the formation of that opinioin. The facts on the ground, the reality, is very different.
  4. oh kk, you didn't look at the pictures, whatever? Jews attacking Jews in the holy city of Jerusalem Apparently this rioting began with the opening of the parking lot, has continued on for weeks picking up steam with the arrest of a woman, the wife of these religious persons. She was arrested and charged for starving the child, but what I do not understand is why the father of the child was also not charged? Is this an indication of the patriarchial nature of Israeli society? BTW: this is the same religious group that attacked the woman who would not move to the back of the bus, and covered that reporter from head to toe in spit.
  5. Yet, you saw ME riots and bit. Cause just maybe it was muslims rioting? I would say all religious fanatics are "jerkwads", but then that would just be my opinion.
  6. au contraire banks create 'money' through the creation of debt, extended to debtors. mortgages, credit lines, loans.
  7. The riots first began over a parking lot, then got worst with the arrest of a religious follower riots continue rioters clash with police in fresh protest pic pic I recall that posters here are big fans of riots especially middle eastern riots. But then people from all over riot for so many reasons, I recall saying, from sporting events too religious extremists.
  8. central banks good or bad? ANDREW JACKSON like I said, bad.
  9. tsk, tsk tsk Bonam, when the going get's tough the weak start hurling unsubstantiated accusations and resort to a name calling tactic. I know this comment was addressed to another poster, but.... I can't help but notice. Opposition to Jews living on lands they presently live upon, nice and vague, not addressing the fact of the illegal 60 year occupation, not addressing the fact of the illegal settlements and the illlegal land grabs. But then Bonam doesn't like facts. Just the facts, Bonam wants to play games with facts, and the intent to mislead with that sentence made it clear. Like the fact that Israeli kids don't learn about Palestine, like the fact that Israel kids are indoctrinated with hate and militarism, like the fact that the only democracy ,alleged, in the ME has segregation buses. And that the only alleged democracy in the ME wants to deny Palestinians the right to talk about the Nakba, to commemorate the loss of their country and their homes and their lands. Is that what a true democratic state does? Does a democratic state suppress free speech, subjugate women etc., A theocracy, a dictatorship, maybe, but a democracy, no. If the suppression of freespeech is to be condemned in Iran, and I agree, then isn't it also to be condemned in Israel. Or do your double standards apply? btw: dub is clear international law is the basis of claims for injustice, and it would seem Israel should be held equally accountable, not less. Then this claim that they are a democratic society, equality and justice, should see them held to a higher standard then some tin pot dictatorship. Me, I'll expect a volley of slurs, insinuations and name calling from you now.... It seems to really be about all you have going on.
  10. well then you missed the christians and muslims in the video. BTW not all Jewish persons reach out for peace in the ME, mostly just the 'self-haters', some espouse very loudly views of conquest, colonialism, the right to land granted to them by god, but never peace, never peace. By that I mean real peace for all the people, not only peace, and land, and water and energy for the one.
  11. the bank already does issue it's own 'currency' representative of government currency. Lobbying? Political interests? Plain old chicanery? Bribes? mercantilism?
  12. I understand fractional reserve banking. Central banks are preferable to bankers that much is obvious. But the quote I picked from the article made it clear a central bank is unnecessary when a country has it's own treasury that can issue it's own money. Making the central bank nothing more then a drag on the country.
  13. very interesting article on central banks Global Power and Global Government: Evolution and Revolution of the Central Banking System. "In 1694, the Bank of England was formed as a private central bank, which would issue the currency of the nation, lending it to the government and industry at interest, which would be paid back to the Bank of England’s shareholders, made up of these private banking dynasties.[3] The 16th to the 19th centuries was the period in which both the nation-state and capitalism emerged, soon followed by central banking in the late 1600s." quite lengthy.possibly relevant oh and as for the question, good or bad, I lean towards bad and unnecessary. and one sentence in this article summarizes it quite nicely why?
  14. well then, when possible, you watch the video, ok? and hey while your at it send a donation to the good rabbis, I am sure they would appreciate it.
  15. where have I or dub said anything remotely like that, could you provide the links please, or are you again putting words in peoples mouths that never have and never would come out of them. Which wouldn't be the first time. I do wonder, why is it you have to stoop so low, so often and cannot just discuss the topic???
  16. I don't. Let's just be frank about what this book is. as for the rest of your crap, well crap is what crap is.
  17. KK: the global language dictionary tells the reader exactly what it is and I have quoted from it to you, an obvious "persuadable" because somehow without trying you actually believe that a book, done by a pr firm is a tool to promote 'open' dialogue, yet the global language dictionary claims nothing of the sort., However, it persuaded you, somehow? As for my thread being bullshit, while that may be your opinion, I think you demonstrated quite nicely how gullible some persons can be, that they can actually believe something is entirely not what it actually is. Even when it is spelled out for yah! It is not to promote open dialogue, it is to garner support for Israel "Persuadables won’t care how much you know until they know how much you care." Apparently you are very, very persuadable??
  18. sure, anything is possible, but I just wanted to demonstrate this is not simply a republican issue. It seems to be an issue with people from both parties.
  19. I did not simply post a url I wrote this an attempt to stimulate discussion does not require a paragraph. Had people took time to watch the video they could then have freely come back and shared their feelings. Or with the info posted, or sent a donation to help the campaign I liked the video, and thought it demonstrated a positive aspect of cooperating to a solution, also it was a background as to who the organization is that is asking for funds to help fight the water restrictions imposed by Israel. It demonstrates positive works, as opposed to oppression. How about you Bonam, did you like the cooperative aspect of the people working together from different religions? Ethnicities? oh and I am certain the moderator could have deleted the post, if it was non-conforming to forum rules, as that does happen here.
  20. this is just speculation, it is an estimate, an assumption. If this does not pan out, what will the next quarter bring? Or of this quarter takes a little upturn and then the next one turns down is the recession over? Unemployment continuing to rise may put a damper on the recession ending, because sales will stay down, on houses , cars etc., I am not celebrating yet, for the simple reason, there have been any number of these kinds of predictions over the last couple years and they have been wrong.
  21. Hmm, is this about republicans or rush limbaugh?? As much as I think he, rush limbaugh, is a bloated junkie,( arrested for oxycontin abuse or hillbilly heroin) and is most definitely a mouthpiece for the republicans in the US. None of that is here or there, as doubt lies on both sides of the political spectrum Former Hilary Clinton supporter Phil Berg, lawyer and he says he is doing this for the health of the democratic party. so whatever seems there are questions from both parties
  22. goodness, if you agree why didn't you say so from the start? But just because one is not using a negative word, doesn't mean the negative action is not taking place. Just because the propoganda dictionary says Do not say we will allow the Palestinians to build, doesn't mean Israel really will allow or is allowing them to build anything. Empty words, don't accomplish goals. would you agree?
  23. Did you watch the entire video?
