Most of the protestors weren't the right race. Especially for Justin. White male guilt doesn't work with a group of mostly white men. This is the most racist PM in many, many decades. When he sees someone he doesn't see a human being he sees their skin color first and foremost, and their gender. I saw Justin on a campaign stop during the 2015 election campaign. His security detail was 100% people of color. I thought that was weird at the time. I guess I didn't know what we were in for.

The good thing about "Canadian" and "American" is that these nationalities aren't based on a racial group. But then when it comes to "British" or "Italian" it gets much trickier because these groups have histories going back thousands of years that involve strong unique culture, language, even race etc. What makes an "Italian" and "Italian" Can you be a black Italian? Is "Italian" both a nationality and an ethnicity? "Jewish" is both a religion and an ethnicity/race. A black person can become Jewish in religion, but can't be ethnically/racially Jewish.

Scottish people look different than Russians, who look different than Italians. I'm confused. Maybe these aren't "races" but ethnicities? Or sub-races?

There's nothing wrong with racial intermarrying, people are free to mate with whomever they choose. Here's an interesting question: would it be justified if certain indigenous bands refuse to allow significant numbers of white people or non-indigenous people to live on their reserves?

Well he had a much bigger emergency with COVID the last 2 years and Trudeau never invoked any Emergency powers. Took 3 weeks to do it with truckers. Indigienous peoples blocked railway lines, highways, and border crossings in 2020 FOR OVER 2 MONTHS to protest the BC gaslink pipelines that caused VIA Rail to lay off thousands of employees but Trudeau never invoked the Emergencies Act. For the record, I was very much against the police abuse at the G20 protests in Toronto. This post seems to be about Occupy? Also, I DID NOT condone violence, what I said is that sometimes violence (and unlawful protest activity in general) gets results. You can look at the 2020 BC gaslink pipeline protests by indigenous people. They blockaded railway lines and got Trudeau to sit down with leaders and sign an agreement promising proper consultation. It worked for them but I don't condone those illegal blockades. That doesn't mean I agree with/condone illegal tactics, it means sometimes they work.

She doesn't have to answer their questions, but they have to answer hers as they are PUBLIC SERVANTS employed to SERVE and protect: Well they are also trying to ban freedom of the press. Well let's see if OPP and/or RCMP have body cams on...

Everyone has a right in Canada to film the police while on duty. Know your rights. They can't tell you to turn your camera off, it's the only thing we have to protect ourselves. Many Canadian police, including Ottawa police, don't wear body cameras. In court it's their word against yours. Don't interact with police without your cell camera running. This includes during a traffic stop. Unless you're driving a car you don't have to give them your name, date of birth, where you live, show them your ID etc. unless you are being legally detained and they have reasonable grounds to suspect you have committed a crime. You can deny such a request. You don't have to answer any of their questions. During a traffic stop they have no authority to check inside your vehicle unless they have a warrant or you have committed some kind of crime that would warrant a car search. A cop may ask "is it ok if I look in your trunk?" etc. Do not consent, they want you to waive your rights. They need your consent to search without a warrant and without cause. Know your rights.
