Strawman in action. One more on the Liberal environment bandwagon who didn't get it done. It has only been those of the left who saw and who have been watching pollution destroy our planet, we are the only ones that HAVE BEEN getting it done, we are the only ones who have been fighting for the environment. We are the ones who have changed our lifestyles to leave as small of footprint as possible. To suggest that the CPC are somehow now magically greeen and getting it done is myth and spurious commentary. If it was left up to the right, of today, we would now have DDT ridden aquifers and drinking water supples, acid lakes everywhere, and NO pollutions controls whatsoever.

The Stern Report was an ECONOMIC Report, based upon science later than your 2000 excerpt. Ok, went back a month and counted 21 Environmental threads on global warming and climate change, with many of the same names starting them. That is nopt counting the ones that had party names involved. As soon, as those who try to discredit that it is happening are proven wrong, that it is happening, they wait until that thread is off of todays topis and start another one. They start it as if they were not proven wrong already. Excuse me, that is old old data, there have been numerous reports out since the one in 2000 that you link to, and 2 significant ones within the last month. Both are linked in other threads, One was from the UN and the other was from a group of scientists around the world that is discussed in length in another environment thread, as search of the last month would find it. Plus the Stern Report is also discussed and has much more current data.

Apparently Can Blue, the 3 former US military leaders have strong concerns that Bush is going to attack Iran soon, or did you not read the article above? And one would think they knew more than you about what is going on. So, I, in the meantime, will take facts on: the ground info inside USA, the Persain Gulf, excellerated rhetoric against Iran, and the US military deployments, before personal opinion commentary.

Interesting link thank you. However, I do not buy the idea that Islam went wild without challenge from other beliefs because the peoples were starving because of Kakatoa. Mohammed was not even born in those years when people were starving around 535CE, he would not be born for another 35-36 years, in 571CE, well past the time they were starving in that area. Then add another 20 while he grew up, so you have 55 years or so after the eruption, and the climate reverted to mormal within 4 years. The time lines do not match. Moreover, the maps shown are a 150 years apart, it's not like the expansion of Islam happened within Mohammed's lifetime even, as he died in 632CE. The Islamic expansion did not reach its peak for another 100 years or so in 720CE. Th Islamic expansion, IMV was more to do with the collapse of the Roman Empire and a vaccuum left. If you look at the maps The Slavs, Bulgarians Avars and Khazars also had swallowed Roman territory in that 100 year time frame. Plus, they are completely over looking the fact of Islam breaking away from the Catholic Church doctrine and all that went on with that. I say a bit of re-writing of history went on in that article.

We have and exceeded hit projections done long ago on what our negative "affecting" the environment would do to the climate in the future. What is that if not control? Just seeding the clouds for rain is climate/weather control.

The truth is the truth, and you well know it, the US government stripped Prescott Bush of a bank and a steel company, plus other other companies for collaborating with the enemy. They seem to think it is just the first 2 amounts, and are ignoring/not comprehending the additional 1.45 million on top of the first 2 amounts. How they get that to 10k is really unknowable. Let's hope the government they voted for is better at the math and reading than their supporters are.

Make more out of the story than what it is? It was a comprehensive article that detailed the whole sorid affair from the court transcripts and witness testimony. It did not even go into the nature of NAKED pictures sent to them, by CPC peopkle discrediting the witnesses. Say nothing of the pictures turning out to be doctored, personally I can't wait until charges are laid over that. It ended up in court, with intent to murder charges, that is serious and a story, making light of it says much. That the guy who uttered the threats wants to run now in that riding, is beyond belief actually. That he wants the sitting MP to resign, so he can do so, is pushing the whole thing into seriously strange reality.

It is primarily the increase in privatization of public services that I welcome. Hmmm, you stated you dream of the feudal system, I take that as promotion of it. Oh yes, I dream, and usually have attained my dreams, however, I have never dreamed that the peoples of the world should be turned into serfs or slaves, as something that I want to have. In my dreams, the world would actually be somewhat equal, and free of greed and insane power grabs, and I also do not think that will be attainable in my life.

But you know very well, that a seat that has been in Liberal hands for 46 years, and with the current CPC incumbent and the Riding are receiving such negative press, would indicate, that this seat is going to be very difficult to retain. If this seat is lost by the CPC it would once again remain a Liberal Stronghold, for possibly another 46 years. Yes, it is one seat, but one seat that the CPC cannot afford to lose in Ontario. Where does the CPC get these kinda of people? So now, the CPC is going to be down 1 seat in Ontario, 3 seats most likely in PQ and perhaps 3-4 at least in BC. Doesn't look good for the CPC, I suggest they keep up the good work in QP, that they have been.

There are TOO many facts out there to be dismissed and ridculed, as the article states ridicule is used to deflect from the truth. Stay firm, people are paying attention.

Catchme, do you really enjoy spending all day scouring the internet for articles that confirm your hatred for Stephen Harper? Sure, dig up all the Liberal mudslinging you want, the point remains it did not end up in court with people being charged. No, don't have to dig up anything, Harper and the CPC are the ones doing the nasty actions, how about you talk to them about their actions? If it was NOT going on, there would be nothing to post about now would there.
