An intresting observation today
sunsettommy replied to moderateamericain's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Polynewbie: The same terrorists who kill their own and does not accept the ELECTED BY THE IRAQI PEOPLE government. The "invading force" that topples a murderous thug and free the populace. The same "invading force" that makes it possible for Iraq to form a democratic government.Thereby eliminating the dictatorship that was under Saddam the butcher. The bloodbaath party disposed of. The same "invading force" that enforces the penalty for thumbing at all those U.N. resolutions over WMD for 12 years. Well at least better than you since you said even less than he did over it. LOL. At least he goes out of his way NOT to kill civilians including the children. The terrorists are killing civilians including children. They recently used children in a car bombing. The terrorists have broken the Geneva convention many times and care less doing so. I will skip the part where you attempt to divine what Ray thinks and go on to this last part: Estimates that vary considerebly. Meanwhile you seem willing to overlook the part where Saddam and his goons killed many HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS.Maybe as many as a MILLION (the high end of the estimates)Many with sadistic methods and bury them in sand.Already 100,000 + have been found in mass burials in the sand. That Saddam for 12 years running fights against the UNITED NATIONS resolutions for not complying with the agreed documentation and destruction of WMD he admitted having. That he and his sons and select goons raped women in rape rooms.Taking women from homes and killing the husbands. This went on for many years. Terrorising the populace. That Saddam was supporting terrorism with money and more. Shelters international terrorists. A menace to the region starting TWO wars. Do you remember how the Iraqi people cheered at Saddams death? Do you remember how the Iraqi people happily toppled his statue in Baghdad? Do you know that Kurdistan is very happy of being liberated by coalition forces? Do you realize that because he is gone Iraq could ELECT people into the government offices and that they have a constitution? The only terror going on these days are from the so called insurgents (terrorists).Lately even the regional shieks are tired of the Al queda's destructive ways.Recently a surge in recruitments in the police and army forces has been noted and may have been because the Shieks want to help stop the terrorists and make a lot more money with a stable nation being more attractive to the worlds investers. If they stop attacking and become part of a democratically elected nation. Then the coalition forces will leave. -
When will YOU?

Good counterpoint to someone else I know. Even if I am guilty of saying that Katrina is a GOP conspiracy (link). I read through the entire piece, and the point of it was????? All this piece article is , clearly, is an attack, on, largley one person, who made the film -"loose change "and then draws the whole 9/11 movement into the picture, linking them to holocaust denial. It is in essence a piece of propaganda. It uses basic propaganda techniques of name calling: " Name Calling seeks to make us form a judgment to reject and condemn without examining the evidence" or transference: making a connection between alleged holocaust deniers and 9/11 truther How is it a counterpoint to anything?? So you are willing to overlook the fact that it was a good expose of that "one person"? He he...

Civilization Watch First appeared in print in The Rhinoceros Times, Greensboro, NC -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Orson Scott Card March 4, 2007 All in a Good Cause Here's a story you haven't heard, and you should have. An intelligence source, working for a government agency. He's not a spy, he's an analyst. He uses computers to crunch numbers and at the end of his work, out pops the truth that was hiding in the original data. Let's call him "Mann." The trouble with Mann is, he has an ideology. He knows what he wants his results to be. And the original numbers aren't giving him that data. So the agency he works for won't be able to persuade people to fight the war he wants to fight. Well, that's not acceptable. Cooking the Figures He starts with his software. There are certain procedures that are normal and accepted in his line of work. But if he makes just one little mistake, his program does a weird little recursion and if there's any data at all that shows the pattern he wants it to show, it will be magnified 139 times, so it far overshadows all the other data. He can run it on random numbers and it gives him the shape he wants. Unfortunately, the real-world numbers aren't random -- they have a very different shape. All the numbers. Even his jimmied program won't give the results he wants. All he needs is any data shaped the right way. And so he looks a little farther, and ... here it is. It looks, on the surface, like all the other data that he's been working with. Other researchers working in his field, just glancing at it, will assume it is, too. But it isn't. Because the source that gathered this batch of data had some other key information that takes it all away. The numbers don't mean what they normally mean. In fact, this number set is absolutely false. If you use these numbers along with all the other data, however, the clever little program will pick them up, magnify them radically, and voilá! The final report shows exactly the shape he needs the numbers to have. The trouble is, these numbers are supposed to be doublechecked. Anybody who looks closely at his numbers and at his program will see what he's done. It's not hard to find, if you have the original data sets and can examine the program. He will be exposed as a fraud. It will do his cause more harm than good, if it's made public. But he's not afraid. He knows how this works. He doesn't show the program or the lists of his data sources to anybody. http://www.ornery.org/essays/warwatch/2007-03-04-1.html A lot more to read in the link.

Cong. hearings on Plame
sunsettommy replied to Guthrie's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
LOL, Would being a traitor a criminal act? NONE OF THE WHITE HOUSE STAFF WAS CHARGED OF ANY CRIME CONCERNING PLAME! Why did Fitzgerald Not charge anyone for allegedly outing her? By the way she was not outed by Novak because she was not a covert agent and has not been one since the mid 1990's. She is a CLASSIFIED agent. Not covert. Shame on you for not following real events. -
Your weakness is that after checking out that forum I gave you.You decide not to pursue your stated plan to debate there. Sounds like a man not that convinced of his beliefs. Oh well.
-
If you have anything to say that doesn't make your beleifs sound rediculous I think you would have said it here. I rest my case. LOL.

Thank you for supporting Canadian Blue's suggestion for another Moderator. Your post is deserving the trash bin.

You started this thread with gratitious namecalling against people who are NOT EVEN CHARGED with a crime! Your bias is writted here in cold blood. Meanwhile Plame was no longer undercover when the Present Administration came along. -

Was Katrina A GOP-Created Stom?
sunsettommy replied to jbg's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Here's proof beyond the shadow of a doubt (link) that he can and did. Katrina was aimed at blacks; Rita was named at ex-French-Canadians a/k/a Cajuns. Ooooooooookay.........................psst....someone want to call the men in white coats please? Ever heard of "pulling your leg"? LOL. -
Not really - you said if I went to this other forum I would run away crying. I want you to make me run away and cry here. Humiliate me about 911 - show people what a fool I am. Please. A lot of people already made a fool of you right here. They were gentile to YOU about it compared to what I read at the other forums.Where they tear apart people like you. The forum I gave you in the PM was much harsher of people like you and what is more some of them are well qualified to rebute you. I gave you clear and specific ways to get involved in the named forum I gave you. Too bad you never carried them out. I think you did look through the subforum I told you about and you got skeered. I will soon make a new thread all about Killtown.
-
LOL, You sure seem confused about our PM exchanges on this topic. Maybe you just follow through and all is well. By the way despite that you continually asked me questions in all but your last PM to me.I will not reply.

The blame game? Mayor Nagin was still re-elected anyway. He protected the school buses! Prolly got the flood damage money because of it. -
Was Katrina A GOP-Created Stom?

This makes sense to me too but when you start looking into Katrina it gets sickening real fast. I decided not to look at Katrina in any great detail because I'm already dealing with enough bad things done by the US government. New Orleans in many ways was the a$$hole of the USA to many people - the "religiously pure" neocons probably decided to wipe it clean. Conspiracy is your middle name. I wonder when the CIA,FBI,ATF and other nasty government jackboots will smash your door down at 3:00 am and drag you away never to be seen again. -
Certaintly we have had to put up with the fleeing Cubans over the decades. A paradise they are running from.
