  1. What do I make of it? I make that you didn't answer my question. Fact is, for you and I imagine for a great mean of your bent, no matter who or what was found to have sent these letters you would have been on here screaming conspiracy anyways. This is why you and others like you are not believed by rational people. You also think 9/11 was a hoax. I wonder if you believe the moon landing were real? Myself, I think WW2 in fact, DID NOT EVEN HAPPEN!!!!
  2. to be clear, Stephen Harper is the head of the government (like it or not) The GG is the head of the state and represents the people (like it or not)
  3. You already projected it. What do I think about the greenshift tax? I like consumption based taxes better than income taxes so at first blush, I liked this policy initiative. However, after I looked at the details I found it to be alot about tax shifting, more credits to lower income people etc etc and it is not revenue neutral. NB tax plan however (if you bothered to look into it in detail) is giving more in tax breaks than it is making up for in tax increases. Just the opposite of this plan. So in short, I like the overall philosophy of both, but in practice NB's plan is much better in my opinion, than Dion's. PS: NB's tax system is also going flat tax income tax and their tax reform is not 'sold' as environmental policy - it is sold as tax reform which is exactly what both are. If Dion's included a flat tax income tax in this and was truly revenue neutral or revenue negative (like NB's) I would vote for Dion in the next election. As it is, I will be voting liberal in the next NB election. Incidentally, the tax reform being proposed and hopefully implemented is being brought in by the provincial liberal party. Any other stereotypes of me that I can shatter for you today? Are you going to man-up and apologize now?
  4. Well luckily you aren't a moderator so until a moderator tells me that retarded is not an acceptable adjective i will continue to use it when I see fit - your sensibilities notwithstanding.
  5. I see. You sure you aren't projecting what you think I think? If so, I am sure you will be able to find exactly where I said this 'taxation' policy that Dion is proposing is bad? waiting anxiously for that - or an apology. thanks
  6. Interesting. So by accepting everything as a conspiracy makes you think of yourself as a leader and not a follower? Question - Do you always, without fail, root for the underdog in sports?
  7. Obsidian In what possible scenario could the anthrax scare not be a conspiracy then? I mean, if the FBI found that the anthrax came from another country, would you have thought that reasonable and that there was no conspiracy? or rather would have you been here telling us it was a coverup? Please be honest. What if they investigated and after years they admitted that they still didn't know where the anthrax came from? Wouldn't that be evidence of a coverup? Wouldn't an investigation pointing TO a US defence department employee be the LEAST desireable to the conspirators in the US government? I mean, don't be offended when I ask what scenario would be possible for you to NOT think that there was a 'conpiracy' here? Each way I look at it, I can see you on here making the same exact 'argument' for the existence of a government conspiracy. You also failed to respond to the majority of my points.
  8. Fine, but it doesn't do any favours for your argument that 'Israel isn't really a democratic country' does it? I mean, nevermind how preposterous that is on it's own.. I was just countering your reasoning which said: And I merely stated that if you are going to use that measuring stick for wether a country is 'democratic' or not, then there are no 'democratic' nations on earth. Can you dispute this? yes or no? If not (as seems to be the case with your non-response to the very issue you raised) why do you only use this measure in regards to Israel? No one else can answer that other than you. If you choose not to, then people may draw their own conclusions. What are the 'mantra's or ideals' of the UN other than what the UN members say that they are? The US is a founding member of the UN with Veto rights - how can they not 'subscribe' to these 'mantras or ideals'?
  9. aww.. comeone, at least be up to date on your character assasination of the non-believers... Sheeple is the latest. Please update your notes. thanks
  10. As someone who was not 10 years old in 2001 I can tell you without a doubt that the US would have been in Afghanistan and Iraq with or without the Anthrax scares. Compared to 9/11 the Anthrax scares were more of a weird diversion, nothing more. 9/11 was the impetous to both Iraq and Afghanistan not the Anthrax. Your significant possibility is simply incorrect.
  11. ummm.. I'm no conspiracy expert, but if it was a conspiracy perpetuated by the higher echelons of the American governmnet against the people of America, then why would this ever come out? I mean we should never know right? They very publicly investigated this for years and there is even a lawsuit going on about it - do you of the tinfoil crowd really believe that the consprators would have 'allowed' this to have been investigated by the FBI? Wouldn't it have been in the conspirator's best interest to silence the investigation and off a couple of FBI agents? Isn't the fact that there were two public investigations that led to a US defence lab the very proof needed that there was in fact, no conspiracy? Also, why is this 'explanation' so easily believed? For example, if the investigation came about and concluded that the anthrax came from Libya, would it have been so easily accepted by the Alcan groupies? How come since a rogue Dr in the US military seems to be responsible, this is believed? Perhaps because you are not looking at this objectively? I don't know, learn me please. Obviously I am an ignorant sheeple with no cognitive thinking skills.
  12. I see. In that case, I guess that Canada isn't a democratic country then. Really, the more I think about it, there isn't a democratic country in the world. Interesting that you only seem to mention Israel though. I will let you explain why. PS: You do know that there were Jews there who were considered 'locals' do you not?
  13. ??? There is a monthly UN Magazine that the US doesn't subscibe to?
  14. Earl's and Moxie's are a tier above applebees as far as dining experience goes. They are not in the same market, hence the price differences. The Keg is in the same dining market as Earl's.
  15. Funny I find that with you and a former poster named Higgly. You make broad pronouncements to be taken as truth. You do not bother to back up your claims and when your claims are shown to be wrong (as I did above) you simply ignore it because it does not fit into your agenda. That is the definition of an extremist. Just because you ignore it, doesn't mean it 'goes away' and other people DO see it and DO ignore your uneducated ramblings, as it seems it is probably best to do.
  16. He enjoys labelling people extreme right wing if they do not agree with him. He has labeled this to riverwind about 10 times in this thread. When one has a weak argument you need to resort to labels. I refer to the extreme left wing as the 'retarded left' but if I were to refer jdobbin as a member of the 'retarded left' I may get banned.
  17. Spitfire Hawker Hurricane The Lancaster The Zero lots of great aircraft. also the p52! The Italians had some ferrari looking fighters in ww2 as well, but their tactics and training were not up to snuff.
  18. Why don't you respond to seg's pts greenie? Are you avoiding them or admitting defeat?
  19. cite? or is that how you became the all knowing 9/11 conspiracy theorist? this is the standard of proof for you? lol
  20. There are already programs and prevention in place and has been for a long time. This is what you do with the hardened criminals. clearly a slap on the wrist wasn't working.
  21. Did you have a point to make here? I don't recall anyone saying that murders, theft and gangs would vanish with mandatory sentences. I do recall lots of statistics indicating that alot of crime is committed by repeat offenders and people put on bail which is what this legislation addresses. This legislation does not target casual pot users in the least, those that think so do not have an understanding of the legislation.
  22. wrong, see Iraq.
  23. really? then perhaps you can cite where this has happened where they have 'arbitrary limits' on abortion.. I don;t know, such as the rest of the civilized world? Canada is the only western country that has zero limits. You can look to France where it is at 20-24 weeks with provisions for health reasons after that. All of Europe is this way and they seemingly have no issue with it.
  24. Yes, you are correct - I am biased because I wish there was a way that he could have been saved. The same as you are for saying that there was no way. Congratulations.
