You always have a hard to admitting to being wrong? Check the date and time of the edit.

There is when paired with BC Chicks post where she postulates that restrictions on the freedom of speech is a necessary thing to 'protect society'. Please try to keep up.
-
'Societies' don't all of a sudden 'go bad', governments do. And if you really felt this way, you would argue against firearm registration legislation instead of being such a proponet of it. consistency.

The Green Party after the election
White Doors replied to cybercoma's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
No it's been exacerbated by a lack of capitalism... See WTO trade talks to drastically reduce western farm subsidies. That would be the biggest step towards being able to feed poor people (rather, poor people being able to feed themselves) than anything else. Obviously ideaology is clouding your judgement. -
except mine had ironic relevance and yours was well... what was it? oh right, a post that had nothing to do with anything. You might as well have said "Hello, my name is Black Dog and today is Friday" to whit, congratulations on being bored and having a keyboard.

good to see that you are ok AG
-
Nope. Wrong again, sorry

Wow, you need to at least put some effort in your posts. First, I never called anyone a Nazi. Second, I never insinuated that you need to have those laws in order for fascism to succeed (although, they certainly don't hurt) Finally, the legislation that is passed in a nation has far more relevance in regards to the type of society it is than does the fact that people enjoy wearing garments on their legs. But thanks for the strawman and irrelevancies anyways.

No, it will be decided on BC, Ontario and Quebec. There are 45-50 ridings that are in play. You may want to do some research.

Senior Tory spokesman suspended
White Doors replied to jdobbin's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I highly doubt that. The Liberals let the whole armed forces rust out for 40 years. Harper is actually trying to re-build it's capability. -
Senior Tory spokesman suspended

My guess would be that 80% of current and former Canadian armed forces personnell would vote for Harper and the rest of the 20% would be divided up amongst the rest. -
The assumption was the CPC broadcasting system and the LPC broadcasting system wouldn't be publicly funded, of course...
-
Ironic that you mention that. Germany had hate speech laws in place. Guess that didn't work out eh? They also banned firearm ownership.. Oops!
-
Wha? Did you read what I said? I said if they came out and said that they supported the liberals I would have no problem with it. Why would I if it was called the CPC? I am free to donate to whatever political party I like.
-
I would have no problem with this if it were called the Liberal party broadcasting system, but it is not. It is the cbc. (and if I wasn't forced to financially support it) By the way, must you come across as arrogant in every post that you direct at me?

Sea of white faces at Republican convention
White Doors replied to WIP's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The mere fact that the left wing obsesses about this crap is the same reason that they will lose the election. -
No one is questioning her RIGHT to say it. Do you not get it? Bias? EVERYONE has a bias. But clearly, the CBC has an agenda and that agenda is pretty obviously to have the liberals elected. It is not only not right, it is dangerous. If you can't see that or refuse to, then it is you and your views that are dangerous to a free press and a free society. Government should have NO role in telling us what to think.
-
Yes, it does matter. I don't want her to not speak, I want to see how much of a freak she is. The CBC provides no alternative counterpoint at all. THAT does matter. The CBC clearly has an agenda and I don't like them shoving opinions down my throat at every news cast especially when i am forced to pay for it. It most CERTAINLY DOES matter. I am sure your 'mid winter celebration' invitation will still be in the mail for appearing all progressive and all smallc, but this is outrageous. On my local cbc news last night they had an interview with Buzz Hargrove and the local liberal MP candidate and that was it. Nothing else. I expect more from a government funded media organization. Maybe you don't but I do. Or maybe you do too but don't have the cajones to say it.

Alright, only if you think the Christian part is irrelevant for the religious right as well though.
-
neither.
-
except Ann Coulter is not a governmnet employee...
-
May is not a memeber of the religious right, she is a member of the religious left. Remember that Canadian 'Christian' that the Americans and Bristish rescued in Iraq? The terrorists killed his compatriot from Britain (beheaded him in the next room) and after he was rescued he blamed his rescuers for being kidnapped int he first place? Well that is the religious left and while May may (no pun intended) not be that far left, that is her 'side'.

Crook Con Calls it Quits
White Doors replied to Ontario Loyalist's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Wrong again, she wasn't elected, she was acclaimed. I know you are way over there in Ontario and can't give two craps about the rest of the country and this interests you only because you hate the dreaded CONS, but at least get your facts straight will ya?
