    Not to let facts get in your way, but Harper's government introduced MORE regulation on the financial industry this spring. 40 some odd to be more exact. Does that change your mind? Of course not. He did have the power and he chose to increase regulation to make our financial system more safe and it is paying big dividends now. Aww.. Bush's lapdog. how quaint and original.     It's the law. I think it is a good thing to at least encourage people to wage war in civilized terms. There needs to be consequences to your actions. The Geneva conventions, if applied to some terrorists, would absolve them of responsibility.
