Navy Seals training in Ontario School
Cameron replied to Ontario Loyalist's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
Did you read the article OL? Man...no wonder I rip people from Ontario on regular basis...oh wait, that's stereotyping...just like you did in respect to Americans and the Navy Seals. Why don't they have a course run by the CUPE Ontario, and they can learn how to represent members as well as protest at overseas political functions.... -
Why are Canadian unions taking part in this war? Why does the Postal Workers Union have any interest in this?

Ignatieff calls for tax cuts, changes to EI
Cameron replied to jdobbin's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Toad...nice. Made my laugh a little. Most poor people don't pay taxes so it's useless to give them one. We should be focusing on the middle class so they spend more money opening up jobs because of the need to supply them (middle class) with goods. Throw in some corporate tax breaks for good measure. And re-elect the Liberals because they make everything smell like roses and we get to ride unicorns around. -

The Link This is going to far. Banning teachers to try and stop the war...Again this demonstrates why I dislike unions. Wasting time and causing more problems than actually solving a problem. I don't think Israel really cares if Ontario gets involved.

Nova Scotia to Offer Fitness Tax Credit
Cameron replied to tamtam10's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
If it offers the incentive for people to get fit and stay out of the health care system. Then yes. It's better than stupid government programs that effect a small portion of the population. -

When are you two getting married? -
Mr. Canada! You're not being very Canadian, according to the CBC. ;-) I'm not anti-choice, but I think some boundaries should be in place for abortions. Such as the length of time the fetus has developed. If you are gay and want to get married...fine. (But I dislike "Gay Pride Day" where I get to see men and women perform near exhibitionist acts on one another in public. If you want to be gay and proud, do it in your home, I don't want to see an extreme display of it). Just Google the Folsom Street Fair for what I'm referring to when I talk about extreme displays of "affection".

It's too early to judge him. I'll sit and listen to what he has to say.

I noticed the negativity in 2003 when the CP ran in their first election. So it wasn't something new.

Maybe the Taliban will head south and take some pressure off Afghanistan, giving us some much needed breathing room.

Here in Halifax, we had our windows smashed by "people" that didn't agree with the CP during the election. The Liberals also had theirs smashed. The NDP went unscathed . The NDP here gave us all their "sympathy" but didn't look at the fact that their HQ was fine and the group that most likely did it is very pro NDP and will probably be seen with them in the future when they have rallies or send their agenda up to Ottawa. We run an election with dignity and debate other candidates. We hold our tongue when the hippies (for a better lack of a word) open their mouths and start yelling at us. It's always been a one-way street when it comes to being part of politics down here. We get our signs defaced, windows smashed, and cussed. We tell our members to be courteous and don't feed on their emotions. EDIT - It may not be the same around Canada but this type of attitude makes me despise the NDP because "the crazy-left-wing-nut-bag group" tends to gravitate towards them.

Canada would be boring without people like you Borg. Nice addition to the bio.

If Gaza borders Egypt as well, why do they have such problems with shortages....the Israelis aren't blocking that border.
