The steep cost for the hotel stay includes the cost for a private PCR test, security, food and the cost of measures the designated hotels will have to take to keep their workers safe.

  5. I don't believe Alfred Nobel  intended for arsonists and looters to be nominated for his peace prize.

  6. Biden is making noises about closing line 5, if he does we should cancel their hydro

effect of Line 5 pipeline closure?: (Ontario)
    - No jet fuel for Pearson Int’l
    - 50% drop: diesel/gas supply

    - massive job losses from petrochemical mfg to road construction

  7.  Amazon and Jeff Bezos do not want their workers voting by mail-in-ballots on unionization. An Amazon spokesperson tells CNN the company is seeking a "valid, fair and successful election" and in-person would ensure that.   Hmmm

  8. #Antifa are planning another gathering in Seattle this weekend following mass violence on Inauguration Day. It increasingly appears the silence from the mayor stems from fear after they showed up at her home. Report by @choeshow: https://t.co/ffdzIASJLT

  9. literally one hour after Biden takes the oath, the WHO admits that PCR testing at high amplification rates alters the predictive value of the tests and results in a huge number of false positives https://t.co/iDtXmappRw

I'm not an anti masker or conspiracy theorist, but I'm starting to wonder how much they have got right.

Disappointing. but not terribly surprising. Everything is being done at such a pace and without a proper plan, the information is not being vetted as it normally should for medical science. The info is politicized. Nothing should be trusted, except your medical doctor and your grandparents advice.

You are mistaken. Canadians voted for a style over substance government. They should certainly not be surprised by policies which are more style than substance.

  12. Amazing that former environment minister Catherine McKenna put herself front & centre at PM's announcement of $170/tonne carbon tax, given that she repeatedly told us it would never happen: 240% carbon tax hike after vow of 'no secret agenda '

  14. J. ivison wrote today that almost 1 million arrivals at our airports since March,  no screening, passengers asked to self isolate, no monitoring, basically open border approach by Trudeau, no wonder over 12,000 Canadians have paid the price for Trudeau’s negligence on covid19
