Will Sun TV News be Good or Bad for Canadian Democracy?
M.Dancer replied to shelphs's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
But they have strong reasons to suspect they would... http://www.tribemagazine.com/board/tribe-main-forum/72080-crtc-pulls-plug-radio-station.html -
One of his disciples was a tax collector. And of course, he personally endorsed the paying of taxes.

Which of course, would be part of his ineffable plan...

While being a proponent of capitalism too...he must be the original social democrat... Matthew 25:14-30

Drivel. To assume you need to believe in superstition to have moral beliefs is just drivel. To assume to need a superstition to be taught compassion is drivel. The rest of your post is drivel too.

You tube is pretty public...

What? No I still doubt that an american group ran ads about christmas in other countries?
-
Chanukka is a myth...

And? Does not God imply the God of Christian, Jews and Muslims? Now of course had they targetted Hindus....'There are no Gods" would have only led to confusion as Christians, Jews and Muslims would tend to agree...
-
I would agree too, if you were correct. But I doubt that a small campaign by an american organization is running ads in different countries.

And, so? If A muslim sees there is no god, they won't think that it only applies to the christian god...and if a christian sees they is no god, why would the advertiser want them to think it only applies to Allah? Maybe because the general public doesn't think alot about holidays celebrated by less than 2% of the population respectively. I hear it's huge in Japan

I know two women on welfare who do that already, for cash of course...and I assume there are plenty more, they advertise in the supermarkets on the bulletin boards as companions for the elderly. They do just what you wrote, help with the groceries, light chores etc..and pick up an extra $100 or so a week. Of course neither of these women are incapable of working, they used to be kept women when they were younger, but into their late 50s their desirability as mistresses wained and they were left without normal job skills.

Well, given that North Korea holds elections every 5 years.... But it is not because that there is socialist in the name of the National Socialist party that makes them socialist, it is there ideaology that makes them socialist. The rejection of materialism and the elevation of the collective over the individual that makes them socialist. Those are the cornerstones of socialism. And whether the National Socialists fought against the international socialists is neither here nor there either. In fact, that is expected with zealots who believe they are keepers of the TRVTH, whether they are religious fanatics or socialists. The Communist Bolshevics fought the Communist Menshevics, the Marxist Leninists hated the Trotskyites....even in Canada the Marxist Leninist could get along with other communists...and of course, the NDP has its own schismatics, the waffle and the NDP socialist caucas...

How long is a string?

nything is possible. Sanctions are never meant to be forever. Now Iraq'a universities can have nuclear reactors just like ours.

My father's work week was 48 hours. His father worked 9 hours a day, 6 days a week. They had no plumbing...no electricity....and for them, poverty meant near starvation. You cannot in your life imagine their lifestyle as being generally the same as ours

Hence their commonality. The dictatorship inherint in their non socialist agenda, their appeal to a greater morality, whether it is labled social justice or social nationalism...both should be viewed as suspect. Thus, the task of the state toward capital was comparatively simple and clear: it only had to make certain that capital remain the handmaiden of the state and not fancy itself the mistress of the nation. This point of view could then be defined between two restrictive limits: preservation of a solvent, national, and independent economy on the one hand, assurance of the social rights of the workers on the other Democratic socialism or national socialism?

So let me get this straight, people on welfare, whon for what ever reason can't take carfe of themselves and rely on the state to take care of them, would be given the responsibility to take carfe of seniors? Now I don't know how it goes for all, but my f-in-l is in a long term care facility, and no swiss sanitarium this, and his monthly bill is near $3500 per month (and that's out of the family pocket, not the states). And how exactly am I and the family supposed to have confidence that his meds are taken, his meals eaten and his backside cleaned when the care is to be given by someone either incapable of work or either too stupid or too lazy to work?

Aside from his heroin addition and his 5 year hiatus lying in bed just like Brian Wilson did..
