It's literally not what those terms mean legally as I just explained. A citizen's arrest is a perfect example, like the case of the Toronto shopkeeper a few years back who chased down and detained a shoplifter; his actions were deemed legal, but he was still widely referred to as a vigilante. Yes and that could be considered an act of vigilantism. I think you and the pervert are getting hung up on the negative connotations of the term vigilante as opposed to regarding it as a neutral description of someone acting as a law enforcement without actually being a cop or other legal authority. None of that happened. In addition to being obsessed with genitals to the point of bringing them up in completely unrelated threads, you're lying here. Clearly your fetish is overtaking your capacity for rational thought.

Kerry Kennedy and the Democrat party CULT

Weird you keep posting this study led by a guy who had his work on the subject retracted for lying about data and has had his credentials revoked and not any of the 80 studies that have shown no evidence of a clinical benefit for ivermectin to prevent or treat COVID-19. -
You're the one obsessed with this subject to the point of inventing fictional characters and bringing it up in every thread, it's clear sign of a deeply troubled psyche and some kind of unfulfilled sexual fetish. You mean he was a a member of a self-appointed group of citizens who took law enforcement in the community without legal authority,?

That's not what lawful authority means in legal terms it's not a synonym for "legal rights". Legal authority is official sanction to act, a legal right is not conferred by anyone but is generally recognized in law. For example, the use of force to protect businesses is a right (albeit one usually reserved for actual property owners and not randos), but the authority to arrest and prosecute anyone damaging property rests with, well, the authorities. That's the distinction. It comes down to whether one believes arming oneself to protect property and maintain order during civil unrest constitutes the duties of "law enforcement" authorities or not. They have fetish sites for people like you, you know.

And people operating outside those parameters are vigilantes by definition. Not but doing so (particularly through the real or implied threat of violence) makes one a vigilante by definition. he is, though, by definition. You're the one talking constantly about this long after the conversational ship sailed you genital-obsessed weirdo. Starting to think you're searching for wank material here. There's nothing intrinsic to being a vigilante that means engaging in unlawful behaviour so I'm not sure why that matters.
-
He was a private citizen who took it upon himself to go out and try to do the cops' job without any authority to do so. Again, that's the dictionary definition of vigilante. Your crying about the dictionary again. Do you think doubling down on this weird shit is going to make you seem less weird? Know all about the...weird fictional people you've created in your mind?
-
I gave you several definitions of vigilante and explained how he met the criteria set down in those definitions. Your response was essentially that the definitions are wrong lol. You don't have an actual counterargument. Again, inventing entire fictional narratives for total strangers because you're triggered by the concept of plastic surgery is peak weirdo behaviour. I'd recommend a nice long nap in the garage with the door closed and the car running. And you are pretty obsessed given how many times you've posted that particular combination of words.

Again, stupid, do you not understand the phrase "taking the law into your own hands" doesn't mean a specific law? Vigilantism is done outside of the law not necessarily in violation of the law. User when he sees a dictionary: That might be what you think you're doing but what you're actually doing is presenting yourself as a gigantic freak with a genital obsession. Boomer brainrot. KYS.
-
Mob: "It's time to take the law into our own hands!" You, a f*cking nerd: "Uh guys can we be clear which specific legal statute we're taking into our own hands here?" I'm not reducing the definition of vigilante to anything: I'm telling you what that definition is. You're crying about the dictionary not agreeing with you. Here's some more elaboration you can read once you've dried your tears. The last list in particular fits Rittenhouse to a tee. lol, it's amazing how I've completely driven you insane to the point you aren't even pretending to give a shit about your "honesty" and "integrity" anymore, just spewing the same trite things trying to be edgy but all you are doing is looking like an absolute weirdo with a genital obsession.

He armed himself to go join a mob of similarly inclined armed people to protect private property, which is again, the literal dictionary definition of a vigilante: a member of a self-appointed group of citizens who undertake law enforcement in their community without legal authority. Depends: is that person you? I thought maybe if you saw how many times you've repeated yourself in one spot that you'd experience a moment of self-reflection, but that requires emotional intelligence you do not possess (along with regular intelligence).

LOL this is funny coming from a legit NPC who keeps repeating the same three or four phrases over and over. -

I already know you're a weird bigot with a genital obsession, you don't have to belabour the point. -

Crazy how obsessed you are, this is, what, your 12th post on the subject? -
Private security guards are authorized by the state to perform their duties and "people who do on their own" would also be considered vigilantes, dummy. Nope, I've given the definition if vigilante and explained how he meets it. You haven't provided any argument at all, because you're a loser. The legality of those things is irrelevant to whether or not someone is a vigilante.

Not beating the weird genital obsession rap here, princess. Who cares. -
How was he planning to protect a business, exactly? I've explained it multiple times, get your head out of your ass and learn to read. Yeah if you omit the part where he brought a gun to a riot to protect businesses then it seems much more anodyne, unfortunately for your retarded argument, the gun thing is kind of central to the story.
