It means that, by advocating for making public sector unions illegal, you're essentially advocating a race to the bottom that would undermine the economy more than rising public sector wages ever could. What happened in the private sector since unions lost their hold should be instructive as a cautionary tale, not a model.

Let's put it this way: I'm as quick with an insult as anyone. But I don't complain about it. I fine the hypocrisy of bemoaning bad behaviours while actively engaging in the same to be a bit rich. Here's a great example of what I mean. A content-free post designed solely to bait another poster into another round of insults. That's fine if you want to play that game, but don't go on about character assassinations, one line drive-bys and other forms of ridicule when you're dealing in the same.

Argus is as free with personal attacks and insults as anyone else on this board. He'll tell you he only does it in retaliation when others do it first, but I don't think that works here any more than it does in the sandbox in kindergarten. It's a shame, because he is really the only avowed conservative on the site who isn't a kook, troll or mouthpiece.
