Imagine that the CBC supports the left ideology and the ovdrly-represented franco-Canadian population in our Federal civil service.

That seems to be quite the stretch. From what I have seen on this and other LMoTP threads there are only two people who have stated an aversion to Muslims in general. I think you are just reading that into your personal set of biases...

Episode 1 = 2.1 million viewers. Episode 3 = 1 million viewers. How low can they go.... If they lose half their viewers every two episodes that means... Episode 5 = 500,000 viewers. Episode 7 = 250,000 viewers Episdoe 9 = 125,000 viewers = cancelling time even for the CBC Episode 10 = last show as they CBC has already ordered and paid for 10 episodes.

Again, it's not the MP. It's just some looney volunteer. Want to see how easy it is to become a volunteer for any candidate in any riding? Just walk into the campaign office on election day and say "Hey, I want to help." I have no idea what proof he had, but the only misstep the MP took was filing charges without stronger evidence.

Seems like Watson hasn't done much bad. It was Kouvalis who made the alleged death threat. And Kouvalis supporters who doctored and circulated the photos in question. All Watson is accused of is pressing charges that may have been *politically* motivated. Can't paint the whole party negatively because of one nutbar who wants the nomination.

That's the key. The sad thing is Dion's French hasn't changed at all since he entered Government for Chrétien. He has always had that brutal accent. He has a *reader's* knowledge of vocabulary, but doesn't get that his high falutin' words make no sense in spoken English. My French isn't good enough to judge but I have a feeling it's the same thing en Francais.

I'm saying there is no way the Conservatives lose this riding unless they face a strong candidate. Your source story is terribly written and clearly stretching in trying to make a story where there is no one. It's always unusual to challenge a sitting MP. Every Government wants to win a majority in their next election. Great for Kouvalis. The MP won by 3,600 votes in 2006. That ain't narrow at all...

Yawn.... The seat turned because of a weak Liberal incumbent. One who ran again and lost in 2006. The infighting is a tempest in a teapot. It will turn on the National campaign. Dhalla won her seat easily in spite of all the ugliness surrounding her *nomination*.

It's encouraging because the Liberals lost two of those three seats.
