  1. OK SO YOU GOING TO MAKE ME DIG FOR CITES AGAIN Uk study below (note that it is HARDER to get into the UK than here in Canada) Immigrants `not working` figures by country of origin institute for public policy research Somalia 81% (muslims) Turkey 59% (muslims - EU membership endorsed by Labour) Bangladesh 56% (muslims) Pakistan 55% (muslims) Iran 48% (muslims) Cyprus 32% (EU) Jamaica 31% China 31% Portugal 30% (EU) India 29% Poland 15% (EU) Austrailia 11% But these figures dwarf into insignificance when we look at particular areas and a youth dynamic. 70% of young Bangladeshi's in Tower Hamlets for example are unemployed. This local borough simultaneously incorporates some of the wealthiest people in the UK who live in Canary Wharf and the poorest. There are others around the UK such as Birmingham, Brent, Swansea and Cardiff which have Black levels of unemployment that surpass 50%. Pay attention to 5:30 min of the video and what the girl says in the car. What she said is the most fundemental crux of my anti immigration argument. It's the cornerstone of why I am so apposed to this.
  2. I never said they were 100% unemployed. We do know that about half now are living here belowe poverty (welfare, supplemental cheques from us tax payers). And we do know that Islamic men and especially women have an unusually high unemployment rate. Especially the wives. And yes. they can certainly get a mortgage. I can get you any mortgage you want on a $350k home as long as you don't have high risk credit. Even if you have no credit. You just have to deal with the right mortgage broker. All ethnic communities have many of their own mortgage brokers that ensure they get the loans. Once in their home they have children and start collecting cheques. They spend VERY, VERY little into our economy. You have to see it first hand. You really do have to go into these houses and see no furniture in the house and an old 20" tv set on the floor of a brand new home. I've seen that too many times. The play the system like a fiddle. It's part of landing in Canada. Trust me Xul already has this all figured out. He knows what he'll be doing here and how to get the mortgage. This does nothing for us but drive up housing and cost us tax payers the money.
  3. The 1,000 doctors is nothing. It's a joke. I hope it doesn't include nurses either. Surgens are elites in Canada and like it that way. Most do not move to the US. The people who move are mainly nurses, young grads, and of course, international students and immigrants. They don't give a God damn to stay here and help us out. We end up footing the bill. We don't need anymore damn caugh and cold clinics. We need surgens and specialists. But what we really need is more educational space in our schooling system. Many will disagree but I feel that elitism in our medical schools is a major problem. Major, major problem. The only way to fix this is through.. drum roll.... private healthcare!!
  4. That's where you are wrong. I offered to personally pay to ship Mehar Arar and family out of Canada as long as he renounced his citizenship. I emailed him this and never got a response.
  5. Newfoundland has a homogenous culture and voters vote for Canadian issues. Not personal immigration issues abroad. This is how most of the country would be voting if it wasn't for mass immigation these past 15 years.
  6. No I disagree. Our gov't has done nothing to make people aware of what this is. The yes no campaign has gotten very little funding although I do see a lot of YES signs everywhere. It's so unfortunate that you feel an abviously exploitive blow to our political system is healthy and good for us. What part of Ontario do you live in? Just curious. A lot of people just don't realize the population density of the GTA and surrounding area.
  7. No one knows the number right now, but in 10 years it's estimated to be 1,421,400. So I mathed it out at about a million now. (many muslims say there are really a million muslims in Canada albiet they love to inflate their numbers. They have several websites that are dedicated to tracking how many there are of them througout the world becuase the end goal is to dominate. And they will try to dominate our politics. I feel we have 10 years and counting before we're in too deep.) We need to keep votes confined to regions and if things are unfair, adjust the riding districts. But letting in free vote systems simply are not healthy for any system although it can work in HOMOGENOUS countries (most any country in the world but Canada which is a segregation oriented country (Quebec, Natives, and of course.. visible minorities)
  8. The Liberals like it because it will saturate the Green/NDP vote. The Green and other fringe parties like it the most (include Islamic and Sikh parties in the making) so they can get Sikhs. The Liberals REALLY like it becuase people will vote Liberal, and then vote for a fringe party and this esnures Liberal victory after victory, albiet less overall seats. The Cons hate it because it's just more seats lost to them and they will never get a majority. NOW HOW DO WE AS CANADIANS FEEL? Well that's simple. Do you want a Parliment with 2 Islmist parties, 1 Sikh Party, and 1 Party of Punjab swaying votes and generally ruining our country? Or do you want representation, of ELECTED members, that YOU elected, for your own riding?
  9. When you posted that you must have known I was going to respond.
  10. Yeah.. And especially all those terrorists that the Christian community raised. These people do not work and drain our medical system. That is my main issue. It begins with this.. and just imagine their own schooling in this neigbourhood. Then they can get into our Parliment via MMP. Then finally, the last step, seperation into their own jurisdiction. This is the story of Islam around the world. IMO, It's historic, it's the way it always has been and the way these stoneaged welfare indoletts behave in the countries they overtake. Canada has become plitically and morally weak. A country of losers. Time for me to get out of here! (wish I could say that and just 'wander in' to the US like they like to do to us here in Canada)
  11. Because it is not the voice of the country. The GTA has about 80% the number of people in both BC and Alberta *combined*. It is not proper, for a small, but highly populated concentration of people in Ontario to decide what goes for the rest of the country. If this was the case, Alberta's oil sands would be toast due to global warming concerns. This is why there is an electoral college in the US.. Left wing wacko's in the largest city centers could not determine the gov't for the rest of the people. California and NewYork state cannot get together and control 50% of the senate like here in Canada. Regardless of how a province votes, they should only have 1/13th represention or 2 representatives federally. We've discussed this before and found that the most democratic, fairest thing to do is sure enough move to a US style of system. -> Bring power back to provinces, and have representatives from each province represent us federally. It's only logical. There are 1,000,000 mulsims in Canada. The Bloc got 1,553,201 last election. Do you want Muslims unifying to vote down Islamic lines and get into our Parliment? Is that what you want? Then we say NO TO MMP
  12. The net result of this is that B.C. and Alberta now have a combined population of nearly 7.7 million people, give or take a few thousand. Which means about 35,000 more people live in Alberta and B.C. than live in Quebec. But despite the growing population of the western-most portions of Canada, that demographic clout - and Alberta's obvious economic clout, being the engine that is largely driving the Canadian economy right now - is not being translated into equivalent political power. Together, Alberta and B.C. have 64 seats in the House of Commons. Quebec, with a population that's now smaller than the two most western provinces, has 75 seats. Alberta and B.C. have, between the two provinces, a grand total of 12 seats in the Senate. Quebec has 22 senators. cite The Green Party federally had almost as many votes than the Bloc Quebecois last election. But the Green party does't dominate our house of commons.
  13. Immigrants aren't that dumb. They are going to work with our parties rather then against them until they have so much power, they can start to form policy. This is goign to take even more immigrants then what we have now. Possibly another 10 years. The timing is not right but the party is in the midst. There's already a Chinese party in Vancouver. If MMP passes, you will see the formation of Sikh and Islamic parties sooner rather than later. And I do feel that we need to remake our constitution and futher seperate religion and culture from politics. Political parties should not be ethnic or religious.
  14. Modern immigrants no longer contribute to the standard of life for all Canadians. They are no longer having a positive effect on our economy and lives. They are now having a negative effect on our economy, social order, and quality of life. Thus, we need to stop it right away. Fact is, as much as anyone can be partisan, ultimately, it was modern immigration that ruined our Ontario election. Tory knew who the winning votes were. He just misjudged what it would take to get their votes. Ultimatly though, moderm immigration ruined our election and is ruining our political system. Especially of MMP goes ahead.
  15. The seat imbalance. There are far too many seats in Northern Quebec.
  16. I wouldn't say FPTP works 'well'. Note the seats in Quebec. There is an imbalance but that's 'our fault' of how we divy up the ridings I guess. Either way, parties should not be based off religions or ethniities. This INCLUDES French and Quebec.
  17. All money and recources will go to the immigrant regions instead of yours. Make no mistake, immigration will always effect you as long as you live here in Canada.
  18. Even if you are a Liberal, wow.. you just got to feel sorry for Tory. I've shuddred so many times during this campaign. I'm sure McGuinty many times thought the same. I could understand this happening back in the 'daddy' days of trudeau politics. But not in this modern era of our country.
  19. What do you expect him to do when immigration is so high. Of course those grades are going to be packed with kids.
  20. That's exactly what I mean. I'm suprised Tory's numbers are actually so high. I disagree. It was about faith based schools. When the news broke, Tory himself claimed that he wanted this to be the number 1 issue. He got his wish. I agree totally. He has never outlined any of his plans or how he's going to pay for them. Let's face it, Tory's a disaster waiting to happen. (I'm listening to the CBC now and he's *STILL* not going to appologize over the faith based schools and is *STILL* using the phrase 'it's the right thing to do'.. The DAY BEFORE THE ELECTION!) God he is the type of boss I just cannot stand at work.
  21. Too bad Tory burried his own grave. These numbers show a a 'could have been' win for the PC.
  22. It's making news here in Toronto. I think a lot of people encourage this because they see it as some way to get these people out of their own neighbourhoods. Of course, that is not the reality. These sects of Muslims that these housing developments are meant for are mostly refugees from Pakistan. They are a very small sect of Muslims and that's what they use to claim refugee status. There are many thousands here in Toronto and they are very tight knit and stoneage. I used to work with one of them and he told me that the most important thing that matters to him is his 'community'. Second is his family, 3rd, his job. He sponsored in his mother, his brother, married in a wife, and then another wife from his brothers side. eidt: All living in 1 house in mississauga. All collecting various qov't cheques. He had 3 kids. He attended events where politicians were present around that very area in Vaughan. I got 2 invitations (because I really am multicultural and friends with everyone). Paul Martin was attending (at the time) and I could have met him but my fiance refused to go.
  23. It's reading this sort of thing that makes me non proud ot be a Canadian. We are losing control of our own country for a partisan political gain. These people do not work. The women do not work. They do not pay taxes. These people do not work. The women do not work. They do not pay taxes. These people do not work. The women do not work. They do not pay taxes. These people do not work. The women do not work. They do not pay taxes.
  24. Yup.. Xul knows all about our EI/welfare loopholes for some reason even before he gets here.. hmmmm....
  25. I agree. We have a dollar bubble. I stil feel that prices are too high in Canada regardless. At this point i'm just looking for stuff to buy off ebay... I bought a violin for $9.99 with $40 shipping... umm.. also got a cool drum.. Actually maybe I'll get my fiance a cool salon quality blow dryer.. To bad I have to keep spending outside of Canada.. but that is our own fault. You should attest to the self hatred that we hold for one another and our 'must lose' attitude.
