  1. http://toronto.ctv.ca/servlet/an/local/CTV...hub=TorontoHome Basically a Pakistani named Adnan is running for city council - ward 10. He is going against another Pakistani woman in the same riding who claims she lives in Mississigua in a basementt apartment. He obvoiuosly wants to be the only Muslim running so he can get all the votes. Adnan heard through the grape vine that she really lives in brampton. Adnan went to the ladies claimed address while only the land-lady was home (another Pakistani woman who just had an 8 day old newborn). He said he was the police and intimidated her into signing a statement saying that she didn't live at the address. She signed the confession because she was scared. They eventually called the police and Adnan has now been charged. A Pakistani freelance journalist who knows the candidates involved isn't surprised. He said that intimidation and suppression are normal in Pakistani politics and that it's just coming here to Canda. I heard the lady on the radio who was claiming to live in the basement apartment. She could barely speak English and seemed to be very un-intelligent in her responses. She couldn't answer questions properly and seemed very shy. A guy then called in the radio station and said that he couldn't believe that these people who couldn't even speak English (one of our official languages) and have been in Canada for 8 years was running for office. He said that these people get votes from thier ethnic community and nothing else. He said that if HE was to run in the election, he would get less than 10 votes despite the fact that he's lived in the city for over 40 years and ownes a business for many more years. He's right. The gov't has to start to step in and fix these problems. A democracy is not the minority acting on the behalf of a majority - go look it up if you don't beleive me. I agree with Mac Harb - I think we need manditory voting as a start in order to fix our problems. Put ideoligies/theories aside and look at the facts. Oh yeah, i forgot, 99% of the poeple here are in-capable of that.
  2. I know. It's scary to see some of these viewpoints the liberal majority on the forum. The majority of people here are supporting racism and discrimination. If the store owner wins this case, this sets a new standard of racial segragation. I guess the new housing developements should develop houses for whites only and the strip malls down the steet will be for whites only. The fundamental of being a far left liberal is to be a hypocrit, and mostly, to be self hating and self loathing pathetic soul of a human who lives in a bubble. I have never been proved wrong with my facts one single time on this forum. (mind you I barely post). Most of these people commenting are in a bubble, low income, possibly unemployed, and feel that our country needs to be a controlled by a higher power such as themselves. For instance, I can prove point blank that we don't have the job creation numbers to support our current immigration numbers. This has been proven over and over. A self loathing lib will ignore the numbers and sats, go into a deep thinking theory about why we need it, and then ontop of this, treat immigrants as kings and first class citizens while a life long tax payer as myself who sponsor them here financially (provable) get pegged as the second class citizen - this is self hatred. Canadians on this very forum hating their own citizens, and their own country, and their own lives. However, someone who is here who is not working, getting free money, and has no desire to speak English or get our citizenship somehow gets placed above a Canadian like myself and I am the wrong one here. Fact is, you libs need to take a look in the mirror and ask yourself why you hate yourself and your country so much. Air America failed in the US misserably because Americans didn't want to tune into the radio station each day and hear about how terrible their own country is. That same thing is happening here. That's why I don't post much. Here we are on a forum, a 25 YEAR leasee paying taxes with a succesful busines gets thrown out of his lease based on his skin color only to be replaced by another insurance company that is Korean owned. This is racism and discrimination plain and simple. We all know it. But to actually defend and support these people is a real shame not only for yourselves, but for us as a country. Today they anounce that the Convervatives and libs are neck and neck at 32/32 in the polls today. To think that 'Canadians' are backing a party that doesn't even have a leader is insane to say the least. And with several candidates already involved in scandals? I mean come on. No wonder we are sinking and sinking fast.
  3. Please name them. Name white owned malls that evict tenants based on their skin color and purposely go out of their way to have white only tenants. I remeber stuff being done like that in Germany and in the south many years ago.. But as you claim, this is still going on in Canada so please tell me where. I'm waiting.
  4. According to the people involved they were never given the option of paying more. I had a friend who got evicted becasue the landlord wanted a different feel to his building and a hair salon wasn't what he was going for. THey are replacing the businesses with basically the same businesses but korean owned. That's what makes this cut and dry. man... i heard the insurance shop owner on the radio today and he's been there for 25 years. I felt so bad for him as a Canadian that we let this happen to him in this day and age. the word 'Government' is just that-it's to govern. Most of what they do is NOT governacnce. VERY rarely do I beleive in governence but i feel the gov't should step in a set a new standard for our country before this sort of thing gets out of control. It's very rare you'll EVER here me ask the gov't for anything. I'm just asking them this time to govern our country and do the right thing.
  5. What a bigoted and ignorant post.... Why because I don't believe in recognition of different races and cultures? I'm sorry if I don't believe in promoting racism sir! We're all the same inside and that's how we should view each other! How you say such things to someone who is trying to quash rasism!
  6. LOL!! I *love* the intellectual deep minded libs! lol!! It's amusement hehehe!!
  7. No. You would not have to mention race even if it is your motive to racially discriminate. The solution is that you would ask them to leave. Period. You should not be required to justify your demand. If they do not leave, you need to treat them as tresspassers. Period. At that point, statists would call the police and say: "Ofiicer, I would like to report a couple of tresspassers on my property!" and everybody else would call a security guard. Yeah but.. then... this wouldn't be Canada though. This wouldn't be our wonderful mosiac of immigrants from the third world living peacefully with us Canadians... oh i'm sorry.. i mean.. they are Canadians too. They are the same as us.. But wait.. they aren't if they are telling us to LEAVE because of our skin color. Oh well. never mind all that. Everything is OK and don't forget to support Volpe!
  8. No Blacks allowed? No Irish allowed? No Chinese allowed? Would they have to list these in the yellow pages so you know which stores you're allowed to visit and which you aren't? Exactly. Somone 'got it'. But still, i'm waiting for a rationalization from the CBC great liberal thinkers? The superior intellectuals? The deep thinking eliteists?
  9. First off, I do not automatically assume that there is substance to every cry of racism (a criteria I apply when non-whites are making claims as well). So far we have only heard one side of the the story and there could be more facts than the ones that the complainants have made public. Lol... liked the way you backed out of that one. The strip mall owner admitted he did this because the owners were not Korkean and the goal was to turn this strip mall into a Korean mall for Korean customers. Supose this is the case, do you support this? Or are we going to have to bring up the "H' word and hitorical facts about Germany to see how backwards this sort of thing is. (PS - as I said in a post a while back, it begins with this, and 20 years ahead it ends with cities being sold off to other countries. ie: Brampton Ontario becoming a territory or India for instance).
  10. Hey intellectuals and great think liberal minds, Did anyone here about the strip mall in Vancouver that got purchased by a Korean business man and all the 'white' people, or Canadians are basically being kicked out and being replaced with pretty much the same stores but Korean owned. They are admitting that it is because these people are not Korean. This of course is blatant racism and discrimination in the first degree. I'm sure is a violation of our charter of rights and freedoms. Naturally, the gov't is doing nothing about this of course becuae the Liberals in BC cannot threaten their precious immigrant vote. I have to say, no matter what side of the fense your on, this sort of thing is wrong and shoulnd't be happening in any country in this day and age. Of course, does this make our country a racist country? You know this sort of thing is like .. hmmm.. i can't break my own rules in my own sig so I'll end this paragraph. See intellectual, liberal great thinkers, ponder this - Some of us don't recognize different skin colors, races, ethnicities, or foreign languages because we're not racist and don't beleive in discrimination.
  11. Couldn't agree more. I find all of our provincial south asian politicians have first and formost an obligation to issues in their country, and then their ethnic/religious communities and not the Canadian people as a whole.
  12. Then he'll have to be good the immigrant majority in the GTA (no i did not use the word minority). Immigrants sole concern are their free benefits and brining relatives over. They don't want anything to threaten this. Rae or any leader will try their best to egg on Harper to 'say the wrong thing' and paint a picture that he is bad to immigrants. I think that the Liberals realistically know that they won't win - that's why you aren't seeing serious contendors entering the race and are more or less getting second rate ding-bats filled with scandal. The joke is on them actually. There are people behind the scenes in the Liberal party who will more or less stear the campaing so the convervatives don't get a majority. The reason why Harper hasn't done any unpopular moves like re-examine our immigration and refugee policy is becuase they do not have a majority gov't and can't afford to make unpopular moves. Look at what happened with the Lebaneese evacuees as an example. The Liberals know that this is Harpers weak point and will try to exploit the campaign by bringing international issues to the forefront of the campaingn and align him with bush. This will fool the immigrants, but not the Canadians. Bob Rae is a sweet guy on the interviews, but he's messed up in the head and will do what it takes to win. He actually believes for real that he's going to win. He actually dared Harper to call an election and Harper would lose. When Rae begins to lose his election polls, the Party behind the scenes will launch an immigrant/internation smear campaign against Harper and i feel the seats will stay the same. God willing he'll get a majority gov't and they will do something about our mass over-immigration which is affecting all of us in so many negative ways.
  13. I've been finding this whole Liberal debate to be amusing... kind of like watching a funny sitcom. We all know that Bob Rae is the lowest of the low political elite in Canada.. from his Rae days, to his skinny dipping.. i mean, does anyone actually take this guy seriously? Yes I live in Ontario. The general consensus is that he was intallectually unfit to be in any higher level of politics. Some people actually wanted to kill him if I remember correctly and made many written threats.. Rae's latest intellectual masterpiece (because the left is always intelectually superior don't forget) for infrastructure is to have a driving tax on raodways. That's good Bob. Nice one! Therefore, the rich person who can afford it will get to enjoy having less cars on the road and get to look at nice HID lights in his rear view mirror while the single mom in her Cavalier who's strugling to make ends meet can sit on the bus while the rich man drives by. Nice one Bob. Way to go. He truly is on another planet and I just can't imagine anyone taking him seriously.
  14. It's amazing how few Canadians know this. The word should be spread.. the media or elites won't allow us to even talk about.. maybe a website with videa needs to be launched on this.
  15. And Harper is continuing that policy and making it even harder for individuals to donate money. Go figure. How about NO taxpayers dollars goto ANY party. It's MY money that i work for and it's certainly not to give to them.
  16. You were warned here:http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index....st&p=125200 you ignored the warning here: http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index....st&p=125426 Once you have been banned you will be banned again if you show up with different monikers. After reading both posts I thought maybe the URL's were wrong or something. I didn't see anything worth banning over. I think those who break the law should be banned off the forum.
  17. I agree. I've never been in or hope to go through a divorce. However, I have had ex gf's who are psyco try to ruin my life and I fully understand that hurt and tormentt the fathers go through when they are getting dragged through the dirt. I don't feel fathers should be paying 40% of their pay to give to a woman who has a new bf living with her that is also making money to support the children. I also feel that the payments are a bit too much. Children are relatively 'cheap' to keep and feed. I felt sorry for this one guy who called up with the court serving him a bill of $4000 so his son can have braces while the mother has a live in bf taking cooking crystal meth. Imagine his life. I swear, if I ever married a psyco and she wanted to battle it out with me and drag our kids through the dirt I would do two things: 1 - Move to another city (no shoving the kids off on me while her bf of the month stays over). 2 - Immiediately go into the trades and then become self employed and have a 'REALLY BAD YEAR' every year. I can see myself in court now: "Your honor, I can't afford a lawyer, i'm self employed, look - I only made $3000 last year.. if she wants $20 than that's fine.. but it's all I can afford. And outside the courtroom I'd get into my 3 series BMW and give her the finger. On the phone I'd tell my ex: "I'm doing well this year so far.. so I'm goign to give you an extra 5 dollars this time around". And she'll drag me to court again and againg and I'll wave my t4 around: "This is a T4? Don't you see? I'm having a real bad year!" The judge will say: "Mr Mike, I don't beleive you and quite frankly you should be ashamed of yourrself!. However Miss Phsyco, his T4 says he made $3000 and the maximum I can give you is $30 a month." I'll say: "That's good your honor, she can use the money for taking the kids out for ice cream and mini golfing once a month like a good mother should" And give her the finger again outside the courtroom.
  18. Very cute remarks. Hah, hah. By the way, are you Muslim? Keep in mind that you are turning on your faith of you deny that you are.
  19. I've never had to look for a job in Ottawa but they seem to have job growth listed each year and an low unemployment., lower than Toronto's at least. Sometimes, we need to do new training to qualify for better paying work. Sometimes, we have to relocate. That's because Ottawa is an artificial economy with gov't employement. It's not a natural local economy. This has been written about countless times. And I think Ottawa was pretty much on par with Toronto. I beleive that relocation is the modern key to getting better work. Sometimes additional training helps but I know too many people with Cisco certs and other certs that are doing nothing for them but expiring. That's the thing - there are too many people with certs, too many people with qualifications looking for jobs, too many people looking to Ottawa for jobs. 15 years ago it was simple: you went to one of our local colleges or universities, took any program, and you were rewarded with a gov't job. Now it's like winning a lotery. Why? Because we have *way* too many skilled people trying to get a peice of the pie when there aren't enough peices to go around - this is a *bad* thing.
  20. If the US does bad we will do bad. There's no way around that. That's factual. Harper can't do anything to help our situation except to halt immigration immediatly. We already have enough qualified immigrants and Canadians that can't find work. With less jobs (aka falling economy), letting in more labor when it's not needed will destroy us. (Of course, we haven't needed the additional labour since the 80's).
  21. Federal government jobs are not just reserved for Ottawa residents. I can't speak for Ontario or Ottawa's governments but that's still a lot of jobs for Ottawa residents. And I see listed in the tech jobs: List of major technology companies * 3M - never met anyone who works there or seen job openings. * Adobe Systems - never met anyone who works there or seen job openings. * Agere - never met anyone who works there or seen job openings. * Agilent - never met anyone who works there or seen job openings. * Alcatel - Rarely openings, although I do know one person who works there. * Bell Canada - Low paying call center jobs that are mostly billingual. * Cisco Systems - Very small building and don't know anyone that works there. * Corel - Rarely openings, although they do have a low paying call center. * Cognos - Extrememly high level of experience required. Never met one person who works there. * CGI Group - Low paying call center jobs. * CSC - Never heard of and don't know anyone who works there * Dell - Unelss things have changed in 2 years, there are no Dell headquarters or callcenters at all in Ottawa and never has been. * Entrust - Low paying billingual call center jobbs. * Fidus- Low paying billingual call center jobs. * General Dynamics - Small staff, never met a person who works there. * Hewlett-Packard - I have worked here. Low paying call center. * Hot Lava Software - 6 people work there? * IBM - Low paying telemarketing jobs. * JDS Uniphase - Never met anyone who works there after the bubble burts. Don't even know if they're still around. * LogicVision - 3 people work here? * MBNA Canada Bank - low paying billinual call center jobs. I couldn't even get a job here becuase I didn't have the qualificaions to get a $10.60/h job. * Nortel - almost all gone. * Northern Micro - Very high experience needed, no one i know works there. * PMC-Sierra * Sybase * TELUS * Tundra Semiconductor * Xandros * Zarlink Semiconductor - all small companies with few openings. Telus is low paying call center stuff. You don't have computer skills? I do have skills, but you don't get a job by showing skills, you get it by resume qualfiications which are 2 COMPLETELY different things.
  22. No. Canada should not even be participating in going to war against Hezbollah. This sounds rediculous, but our first priority should be getting rid of Hezbollah in Canada first. A flag was spotted in Toronto yesterday.
  23. yeah it's all a consipricy. I have an idea, lets let all of Hezbollah into Canada and seek refuge here and all boycott the Zionist Isreal like CUPE. We can recognize thier creditialls and setup a status quou so they get jobs before Canadians. We can also make sure that they get seats in our Parliment. Then we can really take sides with Hezbollah and get those Zionists!
  24. Please post your fact of 98% of Canadians speaking english and french. Also, that wasn't the context of the conversation. The facts are these people speak the majority of their day in their mother tonque and have no intentions or desire of conversing in English unless they have to. I also said that the inner city of Toronto is actually more 'English' speaking than the outsides. For instance, if you lived in Richmond or Surrey, you would probably hear English the minority of the time. Your views are rosey becaue your life is rosey so you have a positivie outlook on things. Things are fairly good for me also, but because I'm a Canadian and want to see our country and fellow Canadians lives improved, i have to point out the problems of our country and no bury my head in the sand and say everything is OK. Facts are, Canada is approaching a 40% 'a special satus'. That would mean native and visible minority. I don't care if they were born here or not (because I don't beleive the latest gen in highschool kids hold Canadian values at heart). There are economical and cultural problems that are going to happen very soon if something isn't done. I don't find it positive that Canadians can no longer afford to buy homes and live in space and comfort. I don't find it positive that public schools have teachers wearing ethnic indian clothing and have class time dedicated to teaching about the country of India and the culture of India. I don't find it positive that people graduating with degrees and dimplomas can no longer get white colar jobs - this is not a problem in many other countries. I don't find it positive that Canada is the most 'educated' country in the world and we have a complete saturation of skilled labor and devalution of degrees and dipmlomas due to mass, mass immigration. I find it troubling that young people beginning their first jobs litterly have live in with roomates when just 20 years ago a simple lowely job could afford your own full apartment. And you can bet your bottom dollar that by 2020 if the current immigration crisis continues, we are goign to suffer problems that we had no Idea could possibly happen in Canada. But hey waht do you care, things are rosey for you.
  25. All gov't jobs. Also I wonder where the myth started that there's this huge IT base in Ottawa. Maybe it was Nortels headquarters a long time back and they where the largest employer for a couple of years.. There's no jobs - no private jobs, no nothing unless you scored something at the gov't. I've lived and grew up in ottawa for almost 30 years from the west end to the east end - i think i know the city and the job situation there. There was never a mass amount of IT jobs. That was a myth started from who knows where.
