  1. And then they complete the sentence: "... because I have relatives there and they are trying to get me in"
  2. What's with this waiting bit? http://www1.cbs.gov.il/shnaton56/st04_04.pdf Thank you. The document is showing less than 2000 from Canada in the last 16 years. p.... p..... p'owned.
  3. Please quote your source on these numbers. I'm waiting.
  4. Why are you stating Ottawa-Gatineau is a city (in the singular sense) when you know very well Gatineau is in the province of Quebec and Ottawa is in the province of Ontario. They are part of National Capital Region in a (federal sense) and associated with the workings of the N.C.C (National Capital Commission) whose main function is maintaining and beautifying federal assets between the two provinces separated by the Ottawa River. I resent and am offended that my city Ottawa being referred to by you as part of a city in Quebec that harbours a population of around 50 % the wishes to separate from Canada. Ottawa, Ontario is a municipality like any other municipality, a city totally separated from Gatineau a city in the province of Quebec. I lived in Ottawa my whole life and 2 years ago moved here to Pakistan.. err I mean Mississauga. Ottawa is the worst place to live. It's filled with no hope, no jobs, and outsiders coming in and taking those precious jobs. The dating is horrible there too. Nothing ticked me off more than a graduate coming in from Toronto to take our precious gov't jobs that are now impossible to get. There's litterally no private sector in Ottawa. Everyone is sad and hopeless there. Ottawa people are filled with hate and complain all the time. Here at least there is something to shoot for and you can move forward with your life.. That is if you don't mind hearing "Dirka.. dirak diraka" all day long when you're doing groceries and having slews of people from the 3rd world swerving all over the road who have no clue how to drive.
  5. Argus calling a community racist....hey kettle it's the pot calling. If they are voting in people simply because their background then it is racism. That's not the point of the MEMBERSHIP race. It's supposed to be what's best for the party and the community as a whole. It's not supposed to be based of religion or race. There's an elected minority now speaking for a majority. I assure you the average person in Erindale does not think Omar speaks for them. Yes. That would be based off racism. We're talking about 700 votes here. You can win with just 5% racial representation. If you can round up over 350 of your friends and supporters, you will win the membership race then the mass public will be forced to vote for you. If you haven't noticed, there are a lack of qualified, intelligent people in the house of commons. Most of which are in the Liberal Party becuase unqualified people are hijacking the memberships. I'm talking about taping phone conversations, dating each other, shoplifting, etc etc. One Sikh girl in BC who was running for the NDP membership got busted with 2 guys trying to smuggle in ecstacy from across the border. This is what's beginning to happen at the grass roots of our politics. We need to change the system around fast. Maybe setup a status quoe or something because this is going to become a serious problem soon.
  6. Well come on, don't be shy. Explain it to the rest of us. What is your "electoral crisis"? You have a Mulsim representative, but only 20% Muslim population...and that's a crisis. How? Could be he feels this representative does not represent Canada or what is in Canada's best interest, but is mainly concerned with representing the Muslim community, who are mainly not Canadian either, and who have the best interests of their "Home" countries at heart. They also tend to vote 100% for someone of their own ethinc "tribe", which is racist, but they never get called for it by the lefties and liberals. Thus if an area is 20% Muslim, 99% of the Muslims will vote for him, thus making him the long shot favorite to win. That's correct. "This is a victory for Islam! Islam won! Islam Won! .. Islamic power is extending into Canadian politics." - Omar Alghabra winning his Liberal membership race. Ok read and learn of the upcoming crisis we are facing with our political system and immigration. When Omar Alghabra ran in his riding for the Liberal Membershiip vote, only those Liberals invited where of an Islamic descent. Thus a special interest group in a minority saw to it that represented a party that was goign to be elected. For instance, Navdeep Bains (a turbaned Sikh who is an immigrant) was representing my riding for the Conservative Party. There are very few Sikh's here in this riding, but enough that if the majority of his membership are Sikh, they can vote him in. Many people don't know candidates get elected in their own party. Anyon can do it; you just need enough supporters within your party to back you. What's happening is that people of the same religions are backing each other behind closed door liberal membership races. The outcome are small, non representative ethnic minorities now being front runners for election day and if you in Ontario and in the Liberal Party you'll win. Thus, people who vote for their 'party' are voting in someone to represent them who got in there in the first place. Here was Omars election speech when he won his membership in a room full of mostly Muslims: "The result tonight is a prove for Muslims unity and a victory for Islam, and that Arab mean Muslims and although Mr. Hazineh (the riding president) keep telling me he is a Christian I am telling him that he better be a muslim" He also said that this is the beginning to take over other ridings in Mississauga and later take over Canada. He also added "Do not vote Conservative they are against Islam and Muslims". For each of this statement the Alghabra's supporters cheered and clapped." This incident was actually investigated by the Liberal party and also made national news for a day. Naturally, nothing was done about it and the Liberal party gave no further comment on the issue. Omar won by 488 of 773 votes. Also I was looking for a letter written in to the Toront Sun from someone that was at the nomination. He has been a member since the 70's and has ran a couple times himself. He said that many people of whome he knew did not recieve the invtes and neither did he. He said that when he arrived the room looked clearly to made of a muslim, arab descent who were mostly immigrants. I really whish I could find his letter. Anyhow, the whole idea of the membership race is to have members run against each other and the membership is supposed to pick the best 'politician' of the bunch. The best speaker, looking, qualified, etc. so he or she can move on to run in his rididng and get the party in power. What's happening is that this system has been hijacked in most areas where there are 3rd world ethnic communitities (this isn't happening with Portruguese or Italian) and the votes are now going to people who come from the same religious or tribal background. Why do you think Ruby Dahla has a seat in Parliment? How do you think she got there? Do I want Navdeep Bains representing me? Hell no. He doesn't look out for my interest whatsoever. But now minorities (no pun intended) are getting into places of power unjustly and I really feel it's time to reconfigure the nomination process because memberships are being one for racist reasons. And yes, that's the real usage of the word racism.
  7. Hezbollah You know, coming from Ottawa myself and living in the Toronto area, I was never in the middle of the action. I actually live in an Islamic neiborhood. My representitive is Liberal Wajid Khan and I am in a Muslim earea of town. Regardless of the fact that Islam is NOT a majority in my area, the fact that 20% or so is, means that our Liberal Represetative *is* a muslim. But that's a WHOLE OTHER POST. (only some of you will know the electoral crisis i'm speaking of that needs to be changed because it threatens the fundamentals of our Country). Anyhow, there are going to be protests in *all* major Canadian cities, the largest they say in Montreal. The protests will be against Isreal. The head of the Islmic assosciation intructed everyone to come with *NO* Hezbollah flags and propeganda becuase they don't want to be seen as supporting Hezbollah (which they do). I thought... hmmmm... you know what, wouldn't it be great to organize a counter rally? I could buy myself and my friends some army outfits and dress like Hezbollah. Evne some fake machine guns or swords. The funny thing is, I would wear a bandana around my fourhead that has Arabic writing that says "STOP MASS IMMIGRATION INTO CANADA". And the signs we're holding in Arabic would read - "PLEASE HARPER, STOP MASS IMMIGRATION - WE"VE HAD ENOUGH!" And we would stand there patrolling our posts outside of Queens Park like freedom fighters of Hezbollah! If anyone is intrested, I just might do this. reply and let me know. I'll even pay for all the army outfits. (I'm serious too). LOL!
  8. It is probably better to cut it entirely if that is the intent of the Conservatives. You couldn't run Wayne's World with that budget. It would just be a waste. Ah ah. They would be forced to advertise and cut the fat. The CBC should not be in the business of broadcasting american reality shows so they can sell advertisments to raise a profit. They should be a truly Canadian oriented station and only show Canadian content. I do believe it's important that we keep our heritage. If CBC went private, all that would happen is AOL Warner would buy them out because they would have no clue on how to run a true private enterprise and run themselves to the ground. Media companies don't go under - they get bought. If you *drastically* cut their budget and regulate them to true Canadian content, they are forced to make tons of layoffs, have advertising, and oustource all their foriegn correspondents like everyone else. They would be more like a PBS and turn to fund raisers and such and get more low budget and smaller.
  9. Yeah, and he spells bad too. ream my sig
  10. You would still have to deal with the rest of the Liberal media. You can ask the Conservatives to end protection of the media industry in Canada and let American companies buy TV, radio and newspapers. Then, Canadian television and radio and newspapers could be affilates of U.S. companies like FOX. Then news would be fair and balanced. I don't know about that.. picture the spin CTV would have on the news: Steve Harper (Picture this in the house of commons with him standing up and his Stevie voice": "We feel it is unfair amongst Canadian owned private media to compete against state sponsored CBC. We are going to drastically cut funding to the CBC and create a level playing field for the other media outlets." -That would be music to all other media's ears and you can be sure there news stories would shed Harper in a positive light. It's unfair for private owned morning radio stations to compete with a staff of 16 people and HUGE budgets. The masses listen to CBC and not small AM talk radio. When CBC is FORCED to advertise like everyone else, there would be a whole new landscape for private owned radio.
  11. That Martin sent in. I don't agree with them being there either, but it was Martin who started it and the house voted to keep them there. I say, we should keep them there for this term only and bring them back. I think it was typical vote pandering that got them there anway. I was amazed the morning I heard them announce that they were sending troops into Afganistan. I'm like 'Martin is the most sinlge retarted person beside Trudeau and Crientien.
  12. I'll jump in here to give my unsolicited opinion: the differences between the countries will become more and more meaningless until it's like the difference between states, then counties. There won't be a need to merge the countries because they'll gradually dissolve into the same entity. It's not a matter of just the US and Canada merging, it'll be the whole world and for the better. I can tell you the economic outlook looks way better when anyone of us can work wherever in the world, setup shop wherever. Nations are already losing relevence in the big scheme of things, why bother with the nationalism anymore. What happens in Montana or Idaho or even Texas usually has a bigger influence on my life than what happens in Halifax or even Montreal/Toronto anyways. It makes more sense to draw the lines culturally and economically if you need to draw them at all. Live in Toronto? Vancouver? Everywhere else in Canada is really English (besides Quebec of course). Neither - I live in Mississauga outside Toronto. I find Toronto to be more English belive it or not than all the outside cities of Mississauaga. And oops, guess what, 25% of Canada's Population is within 100km of Toronto. People underestimate just how much of our country speaks a language other than English. If I really had to wager, I would say the majority of Canadians speak languages other than English and French.

  14. Some American Congressmen suggest having a fence on the Canadian border? Likely, unlikely? It depends on how many immigrants we have by that time. People who make trouble at the border and try to smuggle people in are not Canadians. Busses of Muslims travel to the US on a weekley basis almost. Have you seen Niagra Falls? If so you know what i'm talking about. This is indeed a threat to US security. People don't want to come to Canada, they really want the US - the ultimate country. They are only settling for what they feel is the next best thing.
  15. August1991 a question and a little off topic. Why do you make reference to (English) Canada when there is NO officially English Canada nor official French Canada. All citizen's in Canada are Canadian no matter what language they speak. The majority language in Canada is certainly English with the official languages being English and French. But Canada is a single country. Explanation please. I don't think at this stage that majority of language spoken in Canada is English: English (official) 59.3%, French (official) 23.2%, other 17.5% 17.5 + 23.2 = 40.7% that consider their main language as other than English. Then if you factor in Illegals, Perminant residents, and refugees who do NOT fill out a census form, you would see that we're probably around the 50% mark of people who do not speak English. What I can tell you with *certainy*, is that when I go shopping on the weekend or do groceries, the average language spoken in the background is something other than English.
  16. 1 - Canada in 2017 will be a country based of visible minorities. 2 - Canada along the way will suffer from a terrorist attack 3 - Underemployment will be rampat. Degree's required for driving a truck 4 - Our policital system will be Liberal and cator to minority groups. 5 - The average person will no longer to be able to buy a home. Instead we'll look more like Russia with condo's and apt's everywhere. 6 - An Islamic polical party will have formed. In 2025, the Islamic party will put a motion forward to seperate from the rest of Canada. 2030, our falling gov't will sell portions of Canada to other countries. ie: The city of Surrey in Vancouver will become an official state of India and Canada will no longer own the land. Mark my words.
  17. Yes, especially now that they have lowered themselves to the level of reality TV broadcasting. What a disgrace. Of course I bet the more the CBC produces 'programming for the stupid' the less conservatives would complain about it. Speaking of taxes, i wish i didnt have to fund an army tasked to protect a buch of islamic religious wackos in Afghanistan. http://www.canada.com/montrealgazette/news...23-e841f10322a4Why should my taxes go to fund these people? Fuck em' Id rather fund the CBC. Andrew Keep in mind that it was Martin's gov't that sent them in. Everyone conveniently forgets that.
  18. Becuase they don't have a majority gov't. If the house votes, they will vote against the PC's motion because all parties except the PC are very left wing and are more or less in bed with the CBC. It's also too soon to do drastic things like take away the brainwashing of the Canadian people. I don't feel they should eliminate the CBC, but rather just fund it down to 200 million. The CBC can then decide where to cut the fat (ie: spending horrendous amounts of money on International correspondents to run 5 min radio clips of 'The Unmarried Pregnant Women in Sudan'. Or 'A Small Russian Town's Power Shortage.'
  19. It's funny listening to the big lib media in Canada trying their best to bury Harper. What to you makes more of a newsworthy story? "Montreal Woman Blames Harper For Her Family Dying" or, "Montreal Widow Announces: "Hezbollah is our protector" Which way would you spin the story? Make an unfounded Harper attack based of sour grapes? Or a real, more serious issue that we have a woman in Canada who has been let into our great land only to support Hezbollah, an Islmaic terrorist organization. Naturally, the media made an issue out of Harpers late response (despite the fact that France, USA, and Canada had their ships arrive on the same day). Also, a controversy has been made over Harpers phrase of 'measured attack'. A few people got offended in Montreal. However, the CBC radio IS STILL till this very afternoon making this a major issue anbd asking each panalist their opinion on the word 'measured'. Even Jack Layton didn't think much of that. But the CBC! Look out! They are on the spin to destroy Harper. Maybe THAT'S the reason why Harper doesn't talk to the media. (use your head). Regardless of the media, Harper is the 'peoples champ' right now.
  20. It was his responses that are in violation of these boards. You can check back on the boards to see what those are. Still, we do you feel you need big brother to censor people that don't agree with your viewpoints? Has he admitted to anyone illegal like molestation of children? All he's done is express his viewpoints. Just because you don't agree with it, it doesn't mean he should be censored. If you want big brother style censorship, move to any 3rd world country.
  21. True. I would like to see you banned from here. Yes. Ban people and control what they say because you don't particularly agree with their viewpoints. I backtracked and looked for the 'racist' comments and couldn't find anyhting of the sort. You should respect a fellow Canadians right to have his own viewpoint. If you want big brother to control what people say then move to Bangledesh or Sudan. Respect others' wishes to feel how they do and welcome our free society.
  22. Is on this message board proposing to kill someone? No. Is he on this message board admitting to to molesting children? No. He's giving an opinion on a group of people that he doesn't like - WHO CARES! It's HIS OPINION AND FREEDOM TO FEEL HOW HE LIKES! This is what makes our Country free!! And because you don't agree with it, it doesn't mean you need to go complaining to the authorities. If you want authorities to censor people who don't agree with your viewpoints, then go to any mosque and you can have the Imam's will be sure to kick out anyone that doesn't go with the grain. He has a right to be against immigrants and the people that come here for whatever reason he likes. It's his opinion and freedom of expression as a Canadian. If he's racist than so be it. It's his life. Put things in presepective of who we all are and the country that we're in. Few people are real racists. All people stereostype.. stereotyping is based of truth - that's why we do it. The Liberals and CBC have programmed you to here a stereotype and label it as racism. You're wrong there my friend. You are just a brainwashed victim of the CBC, Liberals and modern Universities.
  23. I think it took everyone by suprise that there are so many with citizenship waltzing around their home country. Why do we allow dual citizenship anyway? I mean.. Italy is taking 400 people back. There are very few even going back to France.. but 50,000 Canadians???? What the hell is that?? I have to defend the country of Lebanon somewhat. The country (like many others and our own country soon to come) suffered an influx and mass migration of Muslims from Seria and Iran. Lebanon *used* to be a Christian majority country and was one time colonized by France. French used to be the second language in Lebanon actually. I imagine it's English now. But due to mass migration and a weak gov't (like Canada), too many came too fast, and what was once a peaceful nation grew to be an islamic majority with terrorists controlling parts of the country. Look at Pakistan, Bangledesh, Chechnya, and many other parts of the world where regions of a country has become islamic and you will see the same pattern. Do these Christian-Lebanese look like muslim arabs to you? I've been listening to the radio and Lebanese will call in with names 'Omar' and 'Mohammad' and such. These are Iranian migrated muslims - not traditional Lebanese. It's unfortunate this happened to that country. And when the masses of Muslims cames as refugees, Lebanon was nice enough to let them in. Too bad they created a civil war and messed up the country which is now going to be known as an 'Islamic Arab' country.
  24. Not a high paying, but just a 'well paying' middle income job. It should entitle them to that as it does in the US. I agree. When you hit the workplace, you will realize that poeple with your same or higher credentials "shows a moderate amount of commitment, and a willingness to perform and show talent" on the job. But you'll realize this once you get stuck with worthless co-workers. School assignments are games; performing on the job and showing your 'talent' is a whole other ball game. There's people that you are goign to work with that took sciences or even college diplomas that have vast amounts more 'talent' then your leveled co-workers. You'll see. Yes I know this. This is the price they have to pay in order to get a fast track visa into Canada and then get married and become a citizen. Internation student programs benefit everyone involved, EXCEPT for the average, working Canadian. Yes. These students also came with VERY high GPA's which drives up the entry marks for the rest of Canada who wish to take engineering. This is very good for them taking advantage of our easy internation student visa, but it hurts the rest of us. And again, trust an older person - when you hit the work place, you will see that their rankings are meaningless. We have a math student from University of Waterloo with a very high GPA that we had to pull from a project due to simple incompetance. She's now doing data entry until her co-op term is over. Why would you respect someone for being gifted? It's their born talent. Respect people who do good onto others - not who's family take advantage of a lax student policy. Did you ever consider that you may not get a job when you finish your school? Did you consider that you may lose your interview to one of these people becuase of their screaming high GPA? Did you ever consider that you have much more talent than these guys? Did you ever consider that these students are not even 'work place literate' meaning they don't have basic communication skills in English? I was in school too and really thought highly of alll my chinese and south asian interanation students. I wondered how one earth they got such high grades with their english and lack of studying. I now know they were simply gifted students from well off families back home. There is nothing to admire about that. Facts are, I'm doing better than all of them and about 4 out of 30 actually got a job in their field when the graduated. School jades you and trust me you are not in the real world yet. (of course employers love the high credentials and these 3 may eventually become more welll off than you are due to the demographic of people in the engineering field). What I'm saying is without knowing any of you, the fact that you write very well would make me chose you for an engineering postion if we had one. Regardless of their rankings becuase I feel that is the most important asset in the real world - especially as far as engineering is concerned.
