I'll be the first to admit I know next to nothing about Quebec politics, but Duceppe seems like a good choice...if he decides to run (didn't he say last time around he didn't want to?). He seems to be pretty popular/likeable. Probably not popular enough to succeed in a referendum, but is there anyone who actually could right now? Duceppe would seem to be the best hope.

I speak english (and only english) and I understand him perfectly fine. I don't understand why some people have such a hard time understanding him.

Perhaps, but wouldn't it also make sense for Harper to come out and say that it wasn't taxpayer money? In this case, I'd say innocent until proven guilty....on BOTH sides. If someone can provide evidence if, and how much, the Liberals spent I'd be interested in seeing it. As for the Conservatives I can wait 30-some-odd days...
