Oh I'm not backed into a corner. A simple google search will show news sites telling of all the shenanigans going on at occupy. I'll just let you hang yourself by hurling insults at me. Have fun!!!

Snap!!!

Except it's not a peaceful protest, and according to you police officers don't have rights themselves. So people dying, intimidation of firefighters/police, sex assaults, violence, and enabling of cirime constitutes a peaceful protest? There won't be any legal pickle out of this. Keep digging that hole.

So what would you do if you saw your coach molesting a child?

Anderson Cooper is having the Sandusky lawyer on his show. This ought to be good... -
Oh really, ask the officers who were bitten, the sex assault victims, other victims of violence, and the victims of drug overdoses. Not to mention the intimidation of officers/firefighters. Did these things happen or not? Seems like security of person issues to me...
-
The USA might not have that right, but the protestors don't have the right to cause trouble while protesting. I don't think sex assaults, violence and assaults on police officers are peaceful protests now are they?
-
Funny how hard those protestors tried to keep the police out of the camps when investigating sex assaults. Funny how hard they made it for the fire fighters trying to make their camps a safer environment.
-
When those of the movement obstruct the police from carrying out those arrests and enable an environment for crime to take place. They screwed themselves.
-
Really??? Aak the sexual assault victims, the police officers who were bitten and the other examples of violence and threats of violence coming from there. Thanks for that beauty.

Don't worry, we just let the wall street banker's coke addiction get the best of him. Easy come easy go. If he goes to jail, boo hoo.
-
It was good for him until he decided to make a little trip to Benghazi with tanks and rocket launchers on trucks. But I guess you don't mind despots having nuclear weapons because they are threatened.
-
It's too bad that isn't making the remembrance day circuit. That IMO is up there with vimy and stuff during ww2
-
All right what comes first, right to security of person or right of free speech/assembly? Rights are a two way street, why do protesters get to trample over others rights and get a free pass on it.

"the Chinese didn't get torn to ribbons" my ass.
-
Do you want to go over the kill death ratios of communist troops vs. Western forces? China just isn't as good at foreign intervention as the western world, and that's why we have south Korea and thank goodness for that.

Umm, the land survey system will put the brakes on arbitrarily setting up a ranch. Farmland does not go for 100,000 an acre. It would be economically unfeasible. The only land that goes for that is land zoned for housing and is spitting distance from a city. Those who inherit wealth have to manage wealth or they go belly up. Some poor suckers have to buy out their parents and are married to the bank. Lots of other businesses can be started, just takes some elbow grease. Other guys are doing it. -
Korean war. Have fun reading!

Ill make you a deal, ill volunteer my old ass for military college, when you haul ass over to iran with whatever money you have to help fund theuir nuclear program and you can inlist in iran's army to help defend their "right" to nuclear weapons. No wonder nixon won in the sixties, hippies wanted to impose their bs on us, yet they didn't have the stones to emmigrate to the land of socialism itself or make the sacrifices of that lifestyle. People in glass houses...

Too old. Do you know how an economy works? The military is better off if private industry does more business than giving it to the gov't. China did invade countries with theirs and they got tore to ribbons, that's why they stay home. China's economy is doing good because they are having their industrial revolution, the same one that Britain and the USA had and with the same results. It's what happens when peasants get into the middle class.

What are you talking about, we should encourage laziness? It is still that easy these days, people need to get that late 60s nonsense out of their heads. -

Maybe Ontario should make things that people want and lower their costs of production. Western Canada is far more dependent on exports than Ontario, who's in better shape? -
If your the worlds largest supplier of grain and have plentiful oil, gas, nuclear, hydro reserves, and have the most innovative environment in the world, depleting a threats resources is good in the long term. What's the middle east without oil? This is a very long term strategy. They're spending trillions now to get trillions in the future. Some ROI takes longer than others.

Ask Zimbabwe how having a devalued currency works out. -
You need to look at things in the long term. If you had access to cheap resources and had some in reserves, wouldn't you use the foreign resources first and then use yours. Especially if the resources you have access to come from potentially hostile sources. E great game continues...

And in the 80s the gov't was borrowing at double digit interest rates because Trudeau thought wallowing in debt was a fun idea. How is it better to borrow? Why not live within their means. Look at Quebec, their debt is borderline unsustainable if not so already. Do we need to spend like that. Why do you want to copy Europe where borrow and spend has proven to be a disaster. I'm saying paying off the debt is the only way long term to ensure that there is more money in people's hands. What's worse is that the borrowing is for consumption and not production. At least if it was for production, it would be easier to pay back. Just because gov't has an eternity to pay back debt doesn't mean we should be swimming in it.
