This is Tim Horton's we are talking about, this is a job college kids or young people or people with few skills work at, and they are getting paid 19$ an hour in Alberta. What would a job like that run in Venezuela? I can easily compare the two regions, they are both oil producing powerhouses, one has a right wing government and one has a left wing government. Which one has its citizen's better off? It starts with an A.

Venezuela's government has more ability to create and absorb monetary wealth and the majority of it's citizens live in squalor. Alberta, another oil producing area has the majority of it's citizens living better than any others in the world. A Tim Hortons worker makes 19 bucks an hour in Alberta, how much does the average coffee shop worker make in Venezuela??? Ergo, socialism sucks.

I'm not aware of any mass immigration to Scandinavia are you??? And most Canadians around here seem pretty happy with FPTP system, you know accountable representatives and all. The average Albertan is a lot more happier than the average Scandinavian.

Yeah, I haven't even said anything remotely like that. They're all in reality real jobs. I am grasping that concept, that means if they are all vote swapping, that will still mean 75% of voters don't support the Liberals and 75% don't support the NDP. It's not my fault the left wing in this country is stupid enough to run 3 parties and expect theirs to win. 10 days till Harper's victory!!!

Britain is hardly a loser. It is one of the few European countries that makes sense, it just needs to fix it's politically corectedness obsession. America is most definetely not a loser, it survived the great depression, it will survive this. Other than that, all those European countries you idolize, combined still don't have the economic capacity as the US, why are they in dire straits if they are run so much better? The fact that the US doesn't get influenced by what happens in Europe proves it is most definetely not a loser. As for democracy goes, how do you get more democratic than the countries who brought in the Magna Carta/parliament and the US with its umpteen elections every year? As for losers lets look at the other countries you like, USSR - biggest loser of all, Venezuela - how does a country with tons of oil have such a low standard of living, Scandinavia - lets tax everything by 50-60% and see who wants to live here, Cuba - how many people left on dinghy's???

Carefull, some leftwing posters are crying foul of the tinfoil and toaster comments, yet seem fit to stalk and spout outrageous personal attacks. -

FTPT is better than PR and worse than referendums. Tell us how PR is the best and most democratic voting system out there.

On MDL last night, Ezra Levant and the Liberal strategist grilled the NDP strategist alright. I tried to look for it on CTV.ca, but they don't show the night edition. Anyway, Levant made some pretty big accusations, I don't know if they are true or not. The Liberal wasn't disagreeing however.

Like in Alberta and Saskatchewan where it isn't failing

It was on CTV, he also doesn't wear a watch. That was brought up. I never noticed it, and I know lots of guys who are happily married and don't wear the ring. That's CTV's excuse, I haven't seen a ring on his finger before or since. If there was one before that would be odd.

Keep this in mind, if Harper invokes his *scary scary* agenda, he is toast in the next election. The check and balance is the always upcoming election. Minorities are expensive and parliament often grinds to a halt.

There's exchanges, the odd jab in the middle of an exchange Then there's getting stalked and having to deal with this. Reported to moderator.

I'm not too familiar as far as vegetables go. They're too hard to produce on a big scale, far too labour intensive. They only pay if your close to a major centre, which you obviously are. -
Or an allergic reaction to metal

i think you need to quit listening to the toaster. Countdown to Harper majority 11 days!!!

I will be voting for progress. I will be voting for my CPC Candidate. Even though he will get more votes than all the other parties combined.
